I had a pellet stove and needed a whole new heating system. So I took some estimates and they were the most reasonable. I liked them a lot because they took the time for me. They walked through, took their time, made notes and told me exactly what they were going to do. I have a laundry room and that's where my furnace is. I had other people give me estimates and they wanted to put the furnace in my dining room and put the duct work upon the ceiling, it was a bizarre. One guy walked in, looked around and said that I can have radiant heat and walked out of the door giving me an outrageous estimate. This company took its time and put the duct work upstairs in the attic so I don't see anything. They were just very good. I was thrilled with their service. The workers were on time. They cleaned up after themselves. They were respectable and respected. It was just a very smooth and clean transaction. Their price was excellent for what they did for me. Adams will be my provider forever.

They were fabulous. They installed the unit in four hours. I was very pleased. They did everything they said they would.

Casey with Adams, called before arriving, was on time. Went to basement to check furnace, fortunately, problem noise showed itself.. He worked on venting, aquastat, circulator, control wires, burners; excessive rust and deposits in and on burners. Many gas ports plugged, cleared as many as possible. Cleaned spark igniter; inspected and cleaned pilot; and replaced parts.

Kasey, the service man, arrived within the time slot quoted, and was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He worked in an efficient manner, but also took the time to give me some hints which, when implemented, will make the furnace work more efficiently with some cost savings. I committed to the cleaning in the first place based on the history of Adams Heating described on Angie's List and thankfully I was not disappointed. Because I was impressed by the technician's knowledge and work ethic, I was comfortable in asking for a heating contract to be forwarded to me. Called Adams and set up first appointment for servicing of furnace. A few days later received call asking to reschedule due to many emergency service calls, which was no problem. Rescheduled and on day of appointment repairman called to confirm he would be arriving within 45 minutes. Arrived right on time and went right to work on equipment. Completed work within 45 minutes to an hour and explained everything he did. Was very professional and friendly.

I got estimates from five different contractors, two of whom were pushing very expensive, very high-tech (and, as it seemed, very temperamental) wall-mounted boilers that would have cost close to ten thousand dollars to install. The representative from Adams, John Raucci, explained that those high-end systems are not all that efficient when working with hot water radiators, and thus I would not see the kind of energy savings they promise. So, as he recommended, I went with a simpler model, one much less expensive, and I am happy. Another reason to work with Adams: the company called National Grid to coordinate their schedules so that National Grid would inspect the equipment on the same day the installation was complete. Thus there was no delay: on the same day the installation was finished, National Grid OK'd it and turned on the gas. No other contractor planned to make such arrangements. (The National Grid guy also complimented Adams: he said their installation was "perfect.") One minor gripe: the other company that Adams hired to take out the old oil tank were not very careful; they scratched the floor because they dragged the tank without sufficient padding, and they chipped the front steps of the house. They patched up the front steps, as I asked them to, but if they had been a little more careful, there wouldn't have been any damage to begin with. But Adams was thorough, competitively priced, and honest. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

We got the furnace from. They come and check it, do maintenance if necessary. They are fine. I'm satisfied with their service.

This is my first winter in my house and needed to have my boiler serviced. Adams called prior to arriving, they were professional, efficient, and showed me the parts that needed to be replaced. I found them trustworthy and I will be using them again.

Kasey was the service person that came out to my place and he was very nice and explained the whole process of what he was doing. I just bought the house and it is my first, he explained how the furnace worked, right down to the check valves and thermocouple, and some preventative maintenance I could perform on the furnace myself and what to look out for.

They were professional and provided us with the most information. They were on time and did everything up to code. We are pretty satisfied so far.

After having my old funace repaired for the third time in 12 months (It was the original furnace, over 40 years old) I got an estimate for the unit, I gave them a 25% deposit and they began the installation 7 days later. They told me they'd be there at 7:30 a.m. and they arrived on time, worked non-stop until it was completed around 1 p.m. They were polite, professional and left a clean work space. I would recommend them completely.

Because we had a positive experience with a Bryant Evolution system in our last house, we were committed to getting one in our new home. The sales rep was very thorough in explaining what we needed and their bid was the lowest we got from the other Bryant dealers. They scheduled a 3 day job because of all the work to be done. On day one, the 2 guys showed up 20 minutes late with no explanation. The other 2 days, they showed up on time. They were very friendly and answered all of my inane questions. When they left each day, they cleaned up their workspace which was a nice touch. After the work was finished on the second day, I went down to the cellar to retrieve some papers and saw to my horror a large puddle of water on the floor. Evidently, the techs didn't plug in the condensate pump and all the water the Evolution system was removing from the indoor air was being deposited on our floor rather than down the drain. At the time, I wasn't sure what to do so I cut the power to the system, called their emergency number and vacuumed up the water. After about 2 hours, I got a call from their after hours tech and we both agreed that since the techs were coming back the next morning, I didn't need a service call. The Bryant Evolution system is working great and am happy with the installation. I would recommend Bryant to anyone. I waited a few days to see if Adams would throw me a bone because of the flooding of my cellar. If I hadn't gone downstairs, it would have been a disaster as there are a lot of books and painting in the vicinity waiting to be unpacked and would have been damaged if the water reached them. I think they should have giving me something, even a free filter, for my trouble. I think it was an honest mistake and still plan on using them in the future but it was enough to affect my evaluation.

I chose Adams because of the many positive reviews on the List. Overall it went well although it took a little longer than expected. Have no idea on price competitiveness since it was an emergency and I paid a premium for getting the repair work done on a weekend.

We have been using them for several years and they have always been good. They had done a repair on our AC last year, the pipe that they had replaced had a crack and it started leaking. They came out and replaced it immediately once we called them.

Excellent from start to finish!! I ll be using them to replace my furnace as well as add central air conditioning.

They were quick and gave a great price. The son of the owner came and reviewed the work. This was a great job at a great price. I would recommend them to anyone. We don't have a routine service contract with them, but we would call them for maintenance. I had shopped around on the price of these units and they came in well below the nearest competitor.

They are very responsive. We went through several iterations of negotiating the price. They matched the price we were quoted immediately. The man who came out was friendly. It was pouring that day and where the water heater was located wasn't easy access. He was quick and he cleaned up after himself. I've been in situations where people come in and make a mess and leave it, but he did not. We have had no problems. They always seem to match a competitors price. We will continue to use them in the future.

He provided a very professional service, was very responsive, and had good customer support.

They actually gave me very good service and delivered high quality workmanship. Their pricing was a little high but I think it was fair. They responded to me quickly so I think I'll be using them again.

The employees gave me a thorough explanation of the process. My new unit worked properly the first time and they were able to complete the job in a timely manner. Upon placing the order to installation, it took 1 1/2 weeks.
