Description of Work: cliff came to the house with samples and took measurements. We followed up by driving to his warehouse to see more options. After selecting the products we wanted and agreeing to the pricing, he was ready to install within two weeks as he claimed he would. He personally showed up to supervise the install with two helpers. They moved the furniture without a problem and cleaned up after themselves taking all the trash to the curb. They did a very good job in general and specifically around the fireplace which was tricky. We will definitely use him again.

Description of Work: We had a new carpet installed in our family room. Not very big, 12 X 13. Very happy with the carpet and installation. Very nice to deal with. With certainly use again. I did shop around a little. The biggest selling point is that Cliff is also the installer....no subcontractors.

 + -1 moreAfter speaking to Mr. Kemp on the phone prior to the visit to explain the quality of what I was looking for based on what was presently installed, he arrived at my home on time with a sample case. He had a fair number of samples to show, but only two samples that were anywhere near the quality that I had expressed that I was looking for. He clearly did not pay close attention to what we had discussed on the phone when setting up the visit. When I attempted to discuss the quality of the pad that I was looking to put under the carpet, he took a very hurried approach to describing the pads and really did not do a proper job on this subject. He was not at our house all that long, but he said that he had to leave due to another appointment. I did not like feeling rushed like that and was not about to spend a lot of money with someone who could not spend the necessary time with me, display the quality of products that we discussed, or even properly discuss the pad options to me. From my perspective, the professionalism was lacking and it was not a good use of my time.
Description of Work: Mr. Kemp came to my home to provide a carpeting estimate following damage to my office carpet from Hurricane Sandy.

Description of Work: I had burned a hole in my carpet with hot wax, and had the have that portion either cleaned or removed and repaired. Luckily I had a matching piece of carpet. Mr. Kemp and his helper quickly cut out the old carpet, put in the replacement and made sure that the seams could not be seen. It was alll done in a quick, professional way and I would certainly hire them again.

 + -1 moreHe was excellent. I love him. He is really a good guy. He was quick, efficient and clean and it was a good price and a good product. The room is 20 by 23. The price was very good. The quality of his work, his responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were excellent. I recommended him to my cousin. I would absolutely use him again in the future.
