We noticed our lawn was getting wet and a bit smelly. We knew this was the area of our septic field. We contacted Noah C White Custom Builders. Upon inspection Noah and Jason of NCW discovered that our cover on our distribution box had collapsed and some laterals had been taking more waste than others. We were given a quote and knew we had to make the necessary repairs. NCW had our tank pumped, put in a new distribution box with flow levelers. NCW also removed and replaced the laterals that were bad (installing new stone, piping and filter fabric). NCW was fast, professional, and easy to work with. We will be contacting NCW with all our building and excavation needs.

fMr. White and his crew of professionals were unbelievable. Always the best folks, performing quality work. Old roof was removed, including old plywood, and new roof installed. Windows in garage replaced, old bilko door replaced. What is great, is work exceptional and neat and clean. AND...........Noah and staff are Gentlemen............

Noah responded right away, explained it would be more appropriate to contact a plumber but did offer to do the general contracting portion of the job if we wanted. He also offered to provide the name of a good local plumber if we needed one.

Noah was absolutely terrific to work with. In the planning phase, he had many helpful suggestions about our approach and options. He helped us think through the pros and cons of different choices, including costs and time. Everything was very transparent in terms of cost and approach. Noah used his own team and other professionals as needed, including extensive stone masonry and additional electrical work for lighting. The end result was excellent. Every element of the project turned out as we'd hoped, or even better. High quality materials and incredible workmanship. This project has greatly enhanced the value of our home and our own enjoyment of it. I suspect someone could find another contractor who might bid less for a project, but Noah's work is a great value for two important reasons. First, his work, and the work of anyone else involved in the project, is extremely high quality. It's clear that Noah takes great pride in what he does. He's personally invested in building things that are beautiful and built to last. He loves what he makes. Second, Noah can help a homeowner make smart choices about how to approach a project in a way that delivers something great within a particular budget. Whether it was about construction methods or sourcing of materials, Noah was able to help us think about places where we might be able to save resources (like ordering stone in bulk, even if that meant he had do to extra work to move it around the site). He was also honest and helpful in pointing out areas where skimping or taking a cheaper route would have been foolish. It's also important to know that Noah's communication style is exceptional. When communication breaks down or doesn't go smoothly, both sides can end up exasperated and the project can suffer or derail. Unlike some contractors, Noah listens carefully, communicates clearly, and is very responsive. It is a pleasure to brainstorm, plan, and troubleshoot with him. Our experience with Noah left us eager to work with him again. He is capable of handling a wide range of projects from small to large, indoors and out, and we're already thinking about what we can do next. I recommend him enthusiastically, without any reservations.

Noah took our requirements, and planned and orchestrated the changes, finishing on time and within the estimate. We were delighted with his work and are hiring him for another large job for our home.

We were ecstatic with the end product! Noah executed the work we asked of him and more. One example of what makes Noah stand out from the rest are his creative suggestions, often ones that will not only make the job better but help save you money. Not only does he have a keen sense of the big picture but the small details as well. Noah was also a pleasure to talk to about ideas. When necessary, he brought in excellent sub-contractors who knew exactly what needed to be done and do it well. Everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and punctual. The entire job went extremely well but it was the transformation of the fireplace that brought all of us the most pleasure / satisfaction. We replaced the mantle with an old characteristic beam and resurfaced the white brick with beautiful blue stone. Noah's mason is a true artist. We found photographs to help give him a sense of what we wanted and that was exactly what we got, only better! Noah is smart, professional, personable, creative, and not only excellent at what he does but a terrific communicator; a trait that I believe is vital to getting a great end result. I would hire Noah and his again crew in a heartbeat. In fact, we have plans to do much more work with him in the future.

We talked to a lot of builders and he's the only one that we talked to that we got to Angie's List and he's the one that we liked the best and we had people recommend people, we saw all the names and we particularly met with him and we met with him a lot and part of the work has been done, they demolition the old one and everything but we're very pleased with them. The only interruption whatsoever is I had a child recently and it messed up the schedule. It's a big enough job that we talked to a lot of people and he's far and away the best for us to work with.

Noah and his men did a great job , fair estimate and prompt and considerate employees I appreciated the overall ease of the process and good quality of the work.Would recommend them highly.

Extremely professionally done! Everything neatly organized and sequenced exactly as promoted. From demo of the old structure onto tarp laid out for collection of all debris, to delivery of new materials, all custom fit on-site with a huge woodwork shop on wheels, to all the finishing touches! Workers were relentless on full days with minimal breaks, extremely meticulous on precision fit and craftsmanship, received input well when concerns were raised and adjusted solutions to please me. Noah has a great crew he has trained to follow his construction details and techniques (notched lumber for integral fit and best structural support), so that every particular he discussed with me was carried out just as described. Noah was in constant contact with me if I was not able to be physically present, so that progress and results always followed expectations as described. Construction continued after normal regular hours, since it was important to the crew to get to a suitable completion level of the tasks so the next day started with focus on a new task, no matter what the clock said - just as I would complete a session before stopping if I had done the work myself, but that ?owner? mindset was carried by Noah?s crew! There were absolutely NO distractions like multi-tasking other jobs while my job site sat idle; NO late arrivals; NO long lunches; and NO ?missed? details that would result in added costs. I paid exactly what was estimated and contracted. The end result was a deck upgrade in every way, from heavier thicker posts and framing lumber, to the new deck surface that will never splinter, to railings much more secure, to white PVC 1" board skirt wrappers on all visible surfaces providing a great finished white trim look instead of visible pressure treated framing lumber. Noah made sure all materials, tools, and whatever incidentals needed were there, which made work progress smooth and efficient, kept up momentum, and is shown in every bit of detail of the construction; just like the details that went into planning and providing everything needed for the job.

He and his crew did a great job -- very quick and thorough, and for the work quality I would rate them an A. The problem came when it was time to pay him. The entire job, which he estimated would take four (4) hours for 2 men took the two (2) men exactly one (1) hour to complete. He then proceeded to try to charge me for 3 hours work for 3 men, saying he had come along to supervise. I pointed out that he was there for only 10 minutes at beginning of job and 5 minutes at the end. He had left in his truck while the men were doing the job. He then said that as he had estimated the job (sight unseen) as a 4 hour job I had to pay for more than the one hour it had actually taken. I was not happy and felt he was pulling a fast one. We went back and forth and he became angry and impatient and said he'd just leave and I could forget paying him at all. Of course I refused to do this as his crew had done the work and I wanted to pay him for the actual work they had done. He finally said he'd take payment for 3 men for 2 hours. This was still not fair, but enough was enough and I gave him a check for that amount, but said I would be unable to use him again. He then said he could not give me a receipt as he had left his company stationary at home, but he would drop it off in my mailbox with in a day or two -- which he did. I would recommend him because of the good quality of work, but I would STRONGLY recommend that any agreements about length of time and number of men for the job BE PUT IN WRITING before job begins. There should also be an agreement that if job takes a much shorter time period than the estimate, that this be reflected in the estimate so that there are no unpleasant surprises or disagreements when it becomes time to pay.

It went well, we had a couple of problems with the house but everything's fine. Our landlord paid for it because we rented the house and then when we got here, it was like this is not acceptable kind of thing and so she paid for these guys and we didn't know anybody in the area so she called around I guess and she found this people, not me, but I just experienced their work, but I didn't pay for them. They cleaned everyday after they left work, because when you sand floors, it gets very dusty and they always had their tools in the right place, that's a lot to me because I hate people that come to work in your house and left your house like it's a war zone, so that was very good and the floors are okay. I had them put up shelves and clean up the areas that are needed to be cleaned up, and fixed the cabinets and stuff like that. The quality of work was pretty good, I don't think that they were like superstars but they did a good job. They came when they said they would come, and they were here until the job was done.

lNoah and his team did very high quality concrete work on my environmentally sensitive project on a stream on my property. Noah was very creative in response to site circumstances and diligent on craftsmanship throughout the project.

He and his crew were extremely professional: always punctual, doing exactly what he promised, charging just what was estimated with only minor, understandable extra charges. The work performed was of excellent quality. We would recommend his company highly.

He did a very fine job and we were very pleased. The builders came out and it went up quickly. He was nice as can be. It was done very well and he made suggestions of what else needed to be done and did that as well. He advised no paint this year and is going to come back next year to paint. He knows what he is doing, the workers were very nice and polite.

Extremely well! When he came to give me an estimate, Noah immediately struck me as honest, experienced, knowledgeable, and very pleasant and approachable. He was very prompt in sending me a written estimate and then remarkably responsive to every question I emailed him. When the time came to do the job, Noah and his workers arrived at exactly the time they said they would (7am!) and worked all day long. In 2.5 days the job was done and it was as if nothing had ever happened -- they left my property clean and neat, just as they had found it. NCW has a dump truck, so no dumpster was needed - a nice thing if you are concerned about your blacktop and your lawn. The roof looks beautiful and I could not be more satisfied with the job. I highly recommend NCW.

The experience I had with NCW Builders was fantastic from start to finish. The owner, Noah White, responded quickly to my request for an estimate for a deck. He was friendly and personable and explained everything in detail. When the estimate came in a little higher than I had expected, he was willing to work with me to get the price to where it was more comfortable for me. He started the project when he said he would, and finished earlier than I expected. He had the two hardest working employees I had ever seen. They worked on two of the hottest days of the year without complaint, even my dog liked them. They were pleasant and respectful. They worked straight through until the job was finished. I liked that they weren't pulled off the job to go somewhere else. They stayed on my project until completion. When the deck was done, all debris was removed and the area was cleaned up. The deck is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Everyone who sees the deck recognizes the quality and craftmanship. Even the building inspector when issuing the CO commented the the deck was well built and sturdy. The entire experience was pleasant and stress free.

On all the homes we first had to remove all the windows and the doors. Then install all the windows and doors. Seeing that the walls were cement the job was harder. The work went well during the whole job and when I needed other things done he was very helpful and went the extra mile. Having a professional like Noah was really great knowing that the work was going to be done right the first time.
