Project: repair chimney Alan and Joey arrived on time and ready to work. They did a great job installing two stainless steel flue liners, one for the fireplace and one for the gas furnace, replacing the furnace pipe connection, and neatly closing up the entrance to the chimney wall. Repaired the top cap, installed top plates to lining system and installed two rain caps to prevent water, animals and debris from getting inside. On the outside of the chimney, repaired and replaced seven bricks with new mortar. Repaired crown with crown seal and attached new flashing at roof. Waterproofed chimney. Cleaned up all debris inside and out Very personable and efficient team. I am very happy with the work done on my 50 year old chimney.

Appointment set quickly and they completed the job that same evening professionally and expediently.

We found this company on Home Advisor gave them a call and they came the same day. We were having a problem with water coming in. The young man told us he could DEFINITELY fix it and the work would be guaranteed. It rained a couple of days later and we called them because it was still leaking. The original work took place on September 6,2019. We have been promised for someone to come back at least eight times. After numerous phone calls and too many manufactured excuses no one has shown up for any of the appointments. We paid $2,100.00 for the work they supposedly did. They had no problem showing up the first day we contacted them through Home Advisor. I really feel this company should NOT be on Home Advisor because it is misleading people. The company is a sham?

Lot of work for just two men

Excellent professional work. Did a lot of mortar work, replaced 2 chimney caps, flashing an even repaired a small hole in my roof they discovered. Before I contacted them I estimated the cost to be prepared and the total bill was just slightly less than my estimate. They performed the work the same day as the estimate.

They diagnosed our problem very quickly and clearly explained with pictures and conversation what needed to be done and why. They came as promised, were very knowledgeable, explained what they were doing at each step, and showed us the problems were resolved. I am very pleased with Shamrock Chimney

Shamrock Chimney was supposed to be here between 9-12 on 9/10/19. At 1:15 I called to see where they were. The girl Jen that answers the phone told me they had an ;emergency and couldn't make it. But I'm the one that had to call them. I had to change my doctor appointment that morning till the afternoon cancel it. So I agreed to wait till Friday and was told 9-12 again but I'd be first finally at 12:05 they called me to cancel and wanted me to wait until Saturday, are you kidding me? I already lost 2 days and you want more. Kiss off, I'll call a real professional. So buyer beware this company sucks and I hope they change their policy or close their doors so other people don';t have to deal with them. And Home Advisor should drop them. So if you have lots of days to waste use them otherwise do yourself a favor and and call anyone else.

They showed up on time the day the work was done. But right after they left I could see that the chimney cap was crooked. When I called the office the next day, I got 100% understanding and cooperation from office personnel. But subsequent appointments to repair the chimney cap were canceled and just no show . It s now 2 months later and no one has been back to fix it. And no response to half a dozen phone messages I have left.

I hire them 2 weeks ago, I don't about chimney and I Porsches my first house here in Worcester. I need the chimney to be inspected and clean. They told me that need to be rapier, water was damaging the wall of the chimney and the cap was to small and they need to order a larger one and it was going to cost 3,300.00 dollars. I told them to do the work and until today 09/12/19 I am waiting for them to bring the new cap and finish the job. The chimney is open and it have been raining a lot so the rapier that they support to did my be is damage by now . I call them few time and the office told that they will call me and until today I didn't received any phone call to let me know when they are going to fix it. At this point I am doubting if they even fix anything. So wandering do I need to go to the police to resolved this matter.

The initial contact, the estimate and work, and the final contact were all top rate. They do need to make it more clear that the person coming to give an estimate may actually stay and do the work right away. And they did a poor job with providing the time window for when that would happen. Improved communication would take them to a 5.0 rating.

Quoted a fair price and did a good job

Do your research about this company on the web before you hire them. Work performed was not performed correctly, I was charged for components that were never installed. After contacting the company when It came to my attention that the work that was on my invoice was not done I gave them the opportunity to correct the issues. Dealt with a rude manager who yelled on the phone. Even after this unprofessional treatment I still asked them to come see in person what my concerns were and worked around their schedule for an appointment only to have them not show up after multiple phone conversations. I was left waiting all day. Paid thousands for work that will need to be corrected.

This was the most difficult company I have ever had to work with. I scheduled service and not only did no one show up during the scheduled time, I had to contact them to find out they were running behind, then found out at the end of business day they would not be coming!!! We rescheduled, and AGAIN I had the same experience. They had such poor communication it is unbelievable. Finally, when they ended up showing up 5.5 hours after they were rescheduled to they had not even called me to let me know they were coming. The men who did the service were fine, explained everything, but because of the absolute lack of professional courtesy I would never work with this company again.

Horrible experience. They scheduled between 9 and 12. Never called to say they would be late. Gave excuses when we called them. Called again and asked to speak to a supervisor. Said not available but would call back but never did. Would not answer our calls. Emailed them and wife of owner called but not very nice. Eventually came and the technician was good. Use some one else. Looked on another site for reviews and found no shows were common

Shamrock came to our home,checked everything out and got right down to business. There was a small tree growing out of our chimney, that seems to grow out of the chimney every spring season. I believe with the repairs that was done by Shamrock our problems should be behind us now.They were meticulous and conscientious about their work and cleaned up whatever mess that was made.
