The technicians who came were John Oliveri and Ray. They were knowledgeable, professional and peasant. They evaluated on day one and came back and did the work to reline the chimney the next day. I was impressed with their work ethic and cleanliness. The fact that i have a lifetime guarantee is an added plus.

They charged 650.00 to fix the sealing and 350.00 to seal the chimney. The sealing was awful and not worth 650.00,now for 4 days I am waiting for the owner to explain the charge. Sadly I paid the bill and i am sad that i did that. Asked for a better invoice and have not recieved it. Then they did the seal of the chimney which I didnt want in the cold weather. That I did get for free but still really don't know what they did on that either. I am trying to get my money back from the bank or this company. I am very dissatisfied. Their guy that they had come here was a very good salesman. Thanks

They have terrible customer service. Promised service and cancelled 4 times last minute. Service people were not very knowledgeable in their jobs. They also were trying to tell us that we needed a new chimney liner when it fact is was brand new. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Awful experience.

They responded quickly to what could have developed into a much larger problem, and came to install the liner even though it was Sunday. Very appreciated.

We requested a free estimate. Cory provided a detailed explanation of the work to be done (with photos) and the price. He let us know they could do the job on the spot, contact them later or not at all. We opted to have the job completed immediately at what we thought was a reasonable cost. That consisted of a new damper, repairing a cracked crown, replacing some missing bricks and flashing. The work was complete within a couple of hours and we are satisfied with the results.

They came and cleaned but never told me how dirty my chimney was. Would of been nice to know what they found cleaning. Also they tried to sell me a insert liner I asked for a breakdown of the parts list and labor and all I got was a total price which I did not like.

Beware of Shamrock doing work for you. Get a second opinion. They installed a new liner in my chimney that didnt need to be replaced, and charged me $3,900!

BEWARE AND STAY AWAY!!!!! First, they did not show to the first appointment. We had to call multiple times to find out that they could not make it. They finally show up and when it comes to pellet stove inserts they did not seem to know much about them. They wanted to charge $2,300 just to install the liner. They told me ( both field guys and office) that they did not do the hook up and plugging in. That they did not install the frame around the stove. You know, THE ONE THAT KEEPS THE COLD AIR OUT. So after telling them, that I was not writing them A check and that they can feel free to remove the liner that I didn t care. is when they felt that they can do me a favor and get plug it in . PLEASE stay away from them. They are scammers. I am out of $2,100 ( which I agreed to pay, since I thought they know what they were doing), and an insert that will not turn on. I will Be adding a complaint to BBB. Specially for taking advantage of a Navy Vet Family.

Hired Shamrock to install chimney liner, chimney repair, and attach existing wood stove. 4+ weeks later wood stove not hooked up. Call every day and am told someone would call back- they never do. Paid in full at the time of initial work.

The crew came on time, assessed my chimney situation and found time that day to repoin/mortar most of the bricks, install cap and stainless steel liner. Joe M, a Marine Veteran, was very courteous and personable throughout our interactions and showed me photos of work before and after the project.. I would recommend the Shamrock again.

Just moved to CT from NYC, bought a house, contacted Shamrock to sweep my chimney, they set at appointment for this past Wednesday 9-12, waited, they didn?t show up nor called, I called them they gave me some excuse about bad weather and they had to pull their techs off the road; I bought their story, rescheduled for today at same time 9-12, same situation, I called them at 10:45 to ask if they are coming, the Customer Service rep told me she gonna check with the dispatch and call me back. She didn't care to call back. I called at 12:30, rep again said oh everyone is busy and they don't have a tech available if I want to reschedule for next Tuesday or another day at a reduced cost. I'm like hold on, you've had me waiting for over a week and you don't have the common courtesy to just call and say you can't do the job. That's all just say you can't do it. She keep insisting that I reschedule, she wants a second chance, I?m like this is the second chance. It's fine I will just find someone else, she said she gonna call be back in a few mins to tell me if they can make it it?s now 2:25pm, no call. I refuse to believe that this is how the service is in CT. This is terrible customer service, terrible business model and no care for your craft our customers. I would never recommend to anyone, it?s sad that this type of service exists, I couldn?t even be mad, I just felt disappointed that a company can't just say they can't do the job, find someone else, instead of holding customers hostage with false hope that you can carry out a job. But, I will contact other companies to get this simple job done. This is just a shame.
