My experience was not good. They flooded out my boiler, requiring me to call a plumber.. I deducted the plumbers fee from my bill. The chimney work seemed ok to me.

I was very happy with Shamrock. Mary who I made all the arrangements with was an absolute joy to deal with. The workers they sent to my home, Evan and Tom were terrific. The work they did for me went above and beyond expectations. I would certainly recommend and use Shamrock in the future. Thank you one and all!

Evan did the work on the fireplace, chimney and roof and all the work was exceptional.

The men were very thorough. Everything was explained before the work began. Pictures were taken to show the work.

I scheduled with Shamrock for a cleaning in February. 5 reschedules later, the scheduler promised me he would do the cleaning for $50 dollars and they were finally at my home in March. The technician took videos of everything he inspected and seemed very professional. However, two things we spent money on went very wrong. First he told us we had moisture in one of our chimneys and it may leak but vowed he was able to do the trick and fix it (he showed us a video of very old watermarks but It was clear there had not been moisture there in some time). Secondly, on our other chimney he told us that our current chimney cap was SEVERELY damaged and it was as good as having no chimney cap on which would be DISASTROUS for our chimney. We had recently purchased this house and had a whole inspection done including paying extra for the chimneys which our inspector told us were in good condition, so I was a bit surprised, but in both cases I decided to take his word for it. $2,100 later we were all fixed up, according to our technician. Well not more than 2 weeks later, the cap - remember the one that was so crucial to the chimney? - flew off and wound up in the front yard. I should be happy it did not hurt anyone. When I called about this, the operator told me that was normal? and they would have a technician over, but could not tell me when, just that someone would be in the area in a couple weeks and not to worry, however they could not actually schedule someone to come to my house to fix the mistake. Meanwhile the cap that was previously on the house, the one that was in such poor condition had been on there without problem and did its job. 3 weeks after my first call, still nobody had come and then.... it rained. Remember the chimney that had not leaked that the technician sealed up? Well now we had major leakage into our garage (behind the chimney). Had not happened before he sealed it up, but somehow after, it sure did. Plus to add insult to injury, we recently learned he poured sealant over original copper on the chimney (which is extremely valuable). I called again, 3 weeks after my initial call. In this phone call, I got the same song and dance - I was told that they could not schedule someone to come out to my house to fix this - you know the issues they created. I would note the woman seemed genuinely sorry that she could not do anything scheduling wise but I have a feeling this type of fraud is part of their business model. So now I am left with a leak in one chimney and no cap on the other (the crucial cap that keeps animals and rain etc out of the chimney) - so who knows what kind of damage that is done. Since my first phone call about the issue, it has been over 8 weeks and not a peep. I spent $2,100 on a sham of a company. What is more infuriating is that this company comes recommended through Angi/Home Advisor which you should be able to trust, now 0/2 with projects hired. I would be careful of this company and generally hiring anyone through Angi/Home Advisor. I plan on pursuing all remedies available. Terrible terrible terrible. This is a predatory company please be careful in hiring and please do not have them do any substantive work on your home.

Evan Roche and his partner Tom Wilson were extremely professional and did an excellent job repairing our very old fireplace chimney. Evan did a total inspection and repaired things we had no idea needed repair. They were professional kind and did an excellent job. They communicated, gave us before and after photos. They even saved a frog that was living in our chimney. We had other estimates and they never even went into the house. We cannot thank them enough and recommend they highly. This business is Veteran owned and operated so hire them and you will be extremely happy.

I do not believe I needed the work they did. I actually needed the boiler cleaned to stop the carbon monoxide alarm.

Devan and his crew did an excellent job. I had to have my chimney cleaned and pointed. And I had to have 3 of my treads in my front yard fixed because they were loose and also fix the side of the steps because they were chipping. They were able to match the color with the rest of the cement. They did an excellent job on that as well. They even went as far as to touch up a few crack on my walkway as a courtesy. I am very pleased with this company and recommend them.

Customer service was horrible. Highly overcharges the customer. They told me one price and tried to charge my card a higher amount. Thank God my bank denied it. I asked for my chimney to be the same color so it would not look like a patch job and they agreed and gave me a very high quote but I went with them because I needed the work done immediately. They never matched my chimney and now I have to pay someone else to fix it and then when I called to complain after they were already paid they were rude and said they never included that in the quote. I spoke to the guy who did the work he said and would fix it and never called me back and stopped answering my calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY RIP YOU OFF. HORRIBLE

Very friendly guys and the quality of the work seems to be good........although hard to fully assess a chimney flue. Only problem was wide variation in pricing. I have two fireplaces that are the same size. When they cleaned, I asked them to put a damper on the one which they did for $175. Several months later I called them back to put a damper on the second. Foolishly didn't ask for an estimate assuming it would be the same or in the ballpark of the first. Bill was $600. For a damper. Insane price. They're friendly, responsive, do good work, but if you're going to use them, get a quote in writing.

Communication was incredible. Loved talked to Mary. Service was great and I look forward to working with them in maintaining my new home.

They came and unblocked one chimney and replaced the cap that others looked at and just left. Installed a new cap on the chimney for my fireplace that I wasn't able to use for the last 4 years. Anthony is very knowledgeable and is awesome at his job!

Shamrock Chimney came to my house for an estimate after my wife saw mortar on the ground from a patch on my chimney in the basement. He did a full inspection, told me what I needed, which was similar to what another company told me, except that my stack outside didn’t need to be repointed, saving a good amount of money. Estimate at 10:30. Good price. I liked what I heard. They sleeved my chimney and cleaned up by 1pm. Very happy how it went.

This company called me right away and came right over. It wasnâ t an emergency but it was important to me and they knew that. The two men who came showed up at 5 pm for the consultation. That was an hour after the original phone conversation. They did an extensive look and gave us a price. They actually started work right then and there which surprised me because it was so late. I was happy though because I wanted the problem taken care of. They worked for 4 1/2 hours. They cleaned up and left my house at 9:45 pm. I think it took much longer than they thought but they never complained and were very professional. They cleaned up well and I have zero complaints. Would use them again in a heartbeat.
