Brian Pulled a no show for our scheduled appt for a quote. I waited 3 hrs. Finally Said he was stuck at a job and would call and reschedule. He never did. Waste of a day.

Good. Delivery was sooner than I expected, performed quietly and quickly.

Comfort Specialists are very responsive when ever we have an issue. They are very nice and they know what they are doing. They are very responsive. If you have a need and call they can always get someone out to take care of it. I think their prices are fair. I am very happy with them.

We purchased a boiler/water heater from OSI Comfort Specialists. We contracted with them because they are the only providers in the area, and they are the only ones to repair this heater. When the electricity was turned back on, the heater was malfunctioning. The service person came within one or two days, considering the huge amount of work they have after the storm! He did the repair and it was a very fair price and it was great. When we were winterising our house the person who came explained to us what the process would be, how much it will cost, what the consequences of doing or not doing anything were. He didn't push us to any solution or any expense. In fact, we chose not to do that after we heard everything, and asked if we still had to pay for his service call, and he said no. He was very very helpful and explained some extras about our situation in terms of heating and air conditioning the house. The Company was very busy at this time with the calls. Some people were still without heat but they struggled to do their best. It was amazing how they did it in this difficult times. They went above and beyond.

They are usually pretty good I am giving them the benefit of the doubt since the Hurricane hit and they were real busy. The overall job went OK.

I do not have an existing service contract. My boiler was pulling air, not oil so the heat wasn't working. I called OSI because they serviced the boiler for the prior homeowner. I told them I wanted to get the boiler up and running ASAP (it was Sunday so I knew it could be a problem). The customer service rep said they were already extremely busy with their existing customers but took my number and said someone would give me a call. I found someone else (Petro) but I still haven't heard from them over 24 hours later. Probably just busy because of the hurricane which I understand.

The entire team was exceptional from the office staff, to the sales representative who estimated the job, to the technicians who performed the removal and installation of the water heater. They planned and executed the installation perfectly.

I have central air conditioning in my home which was evaluated by another company and I was told that I needed a new condenser. They performed no tests to confirm if it was a leak or to even determine where the leak might be coming from. This should be done before telling me I need a new condenser versus a repair. This occurred on 6/14. I then called a friend who knew a person in this industry...as a favor he came over and did a dye test to determine if and where a leak might be, he also brought me 3 estimates on condensers. He filled my system with some freon...I don't know how much but probably not alot since he didn't charge me...and the system was operational. Because he was not a and quot;legitimateand quot; company I thought it best to contact a company which took all kinds of payment and was on Angies List/BBB. Prior to this I called the supplier from which my last condenser was purchased for a recommendation. He told me to call OSI and ask for Micky whom he described as and quot;an honest, straightshooterand quot;...I thought my problem was solved....I decided to join Angies List because I was tired of incompetent service providers and figured it might be helpful in this situation and others down the road...so I signed up, then I went on the website to look up OSI and saw they had an A rating...I was feeling better but didn't realize how deceiving the ratings can be. I say that because later on 6/14 I called and left a message for this tech to call me back, called again on Fri and left another message, no callback, called Sat and was told only emergency service with people who already have contracts would be dealt with. Finally on Mon I got a hold of Micky and told him my and quot;storyand quot;. The system was still operating 4 days later but I knew the and quot;heatwaveand quot; was coming and I still wanted the system evaluated by a professional (psh!!!) for either repair or purchase of a new condenser. He said do a wait and see what happens when the heat comes, this was prudent but I DID NOT want to be stuck during a heatwave which is exactly what happened. When this conversation happened on MONDAY I asked when he could come and he said not until THURSDAY!..4 DAYS . I swallowed it because it is busy season, but I am still a potential new customer who they will be making money off of be it a repair or new unit. I decided to be patience I stupidly BELIEVED they would keep their word. Well my system went out on Wednesday morning so I called OSI to find out if he would keep his promise to come the next day, I figured I could tough it for one more day. They said they would leave a message I got no response. Thursday comes I call twice..no response. Today is Sat, MIcky nor anyone from the company ever called back. On Thurs I had even asked if anyone could just come out to give me a freon boost until a full evaluation could be done, it reached 88 in my house with fans on..no response. I wouldn't recommend this company to a dog. Despite their A ratings there are some reviews that stated they get to you when they want, this appears to be the true story with them. Notice most of the reviews were for heating only 2 for AC. If you're overextended that does not excuse not responding to a customer for over the course of a week, not offering an alternative ( like the freon boost or the name of a friendly competitor --no we want the money no matter what.)... and showing no professionalism,courtesy, or decency. I should potentially spend thousands of dollars and be treated this way? I wouldn't trust them to buy equipment from, I wouldn't believe they would honor a service contract, and I really don't believe they would give me a competitive fair price on a repair or new unit. I now have to question seriously if it is worth me paying for Angies List as well...if this is an A company and you support them on your website I have to question how the LIST is formulated and its overall legitimacy. So while I'm still a member I'm posting this to warn others about this company and its so called service oriented, experienced techs and professionalism. I want to see if the LIST will keep its promise to standby its members.

There have been many times where I have called OSI for an emergency but one stands out from all the rest. My family came back from vaction in December to find our heat was not working. With a house at 40 degrees OSI was at our doorstep within 30 minutes and left with the problem resolved.

There was a clog in the elbow of my kitchen sink. The manager of OSI sent a technician out from another company late on a Friday night, making arrangements to have my issue addressed. When he could not fix it, they even called in another technician to finally resolve the issue. They came promptly at 9 PM on a Friday and had everything fixed by 10:00 PM.

They were exceptional in every regard! They came exactly on time. The mechanic knew exactly what the problem was, and the price was just as he had quoted. He offered me many choices as far as parts and brought exactly what I wanted. The installation was very efficient and very well done. I would definitely recommend them.

Osi responded to my phone calls the same day. They sent us an e-mail estimate the day after they came to look at our space. Overall I found them the quickest to respond to all my inquires, than any other company I got estimates from. They arrived every day at the time they said they would come, and worked very quickly.

They were prompt, courteous, professional. The explanation were precise. The estimate was on the money. The work was on done time. I received and written reciept. They got it right the first time.

They are the best. They are responsive. If I have a problem in the winter. They are here on the button.

It is great. They are prompt. They know what they are doing.

They are a really good contractor. They come when they say they are coming. They come whenever we have a problem which is usually in the evening. The come any time of night. They are very courteous. I have never had a non courteous person from them. They always fix what needs fixing.

They are good. We have had them for a very long time. They are really reliable. They are personable. They are friendly. They know the house really well.

They do very well. They have been doing it for many year. We had a problem with the burner. They have come and got it running right. They have done a good job. They give us a reasonable price. When we call them they come and take care of us.

It is fine. They are a good company. They did the job promptly and competently. They always provide good service when you call them. When you don't they make sure you get your oil on time.

They have been good about deliveries. Decent about prices. Every time I call They have good customer service. When I have a problem they get someone over here. They only thing I would say was they I didn't have an idea of what time I would be home.. The people that came over were great, look over problem because I am under contract there was no problems. The last guy who came by once my boiler shut off. He hit the rest switch. He took the time to take a look at the oil line to realize it was a clogged filter. I felt like he went above and beyond.

We have been very happy with them through the years. We inherited form prior owner of house 24 year ago. I am very happy. We are switching from oil to gas so we will not use them again. They have great quality. We might still use them for ancillary work. Taking care of underground oil tank. Contract with them that locks in the price for the heating season from October to September, so the price can't go higher than $319 for this year.

My boiler was screwed up. I have a contract with them to fix anything that goes wrong. They didn't want to do it. For three or four weeks they said they couldn't do it. Finally they sent two guys over and did it. They always come on a schedule of their own and as long as I don't run out of oil I am fine.

They came on a Sunday. I was covered under their service plan, so there was no charge.

It was wonderful. They were punctual and the service was excellent over all. I signed up with them to buy oil from them.

I really like OSI Oil Service. I've used their service for years. They will come immediately when something goes wrong with your furnace. They also send out bulletins every month. They are good to explain things. I also like the guaranteed price plan where you pay a certain amount for oil and if the price goes up they won't charge you for the extra. I have an annual contract with them.
