I hired AC Design and Development to redecorate 3 rooms in my 750 square foot 2 bedroom apartment. I wanted a cohesive design and color theme using a mixture of existing pieces and new. In our first consultation, Aishah motivated me to rearrange some furniture and declutter, which I did and am very happy with the results. Other ideas she had were not impressive but alone I found alternate solutions which work. I agreed to pay $2,000. for two design presentations. I hoped for expert assistance with selections in color and furnishings to reach that cohesive design. After paying 50% deposit, we had another longer meeting where I tried to give as much information about my personal tastes as possible. I thought there would be more specific questions asked and more looking around. I expected Aishah to have ideas ready to bounce off me, but nothing. We talked alot about our personal lives instead. Still, I was open-minded. She left saying she would be sending me some ideas the following week. Not only did I not receive any ideas, I did not hear from Aishah for over 2 weeks until I reached out to her, at which time she apologized and said she had had a family emergency which took her out of town. That was one week ago when I told her I did not wish to proceed with AC Design and Development on this project, and suggested a refund amount which I arrived at by calculating her hourly rate advertised on the website. I wanted to compensate her for her time. She said twice that she would be sending me a statement and a refund but I have not received anything. Two days ago she said she would send it tomorrow, and I have yet to receive anything. Aishah was late both times we met and overall I find her to be lacking in professionalism and customer service skills. I would not recommend AC Design and Development.

We are in the beginning phase. So far great ideas and cooperation.

AC Design & Development Corp. was excellent!!!! They listened to what I wanted and provided it and more. They were professional, courtesy, and just an absolute pleasure to work with. They walked me through the design and the construction process and was there overseeing the work during construction. I would highly recommend them for any design project.

She needs to explain better what the contractors she hires can or can not do. Also, she needs to stick to her schedule better and not throwing out comments like, "thats the construction business."
