+ -1 moreMike Rossi's father-in-law installed a water softener in our house a half century ago. After 50 years we thought it was time for a new water softener and we called Mike to install it. Everything went great and the price was right. Mike even called us a few days after the installation to see if everything was OK and it was. I guess it will be Mike's grandkids who will install the next water softener here around the year 2065 - 2070!
Description of Work: Removed half century old water softener and replaced with a new modern one.

Description of Work: Water suddenly became hard. System was nearly 20 years old and was inconsistant in it's softening. Water softener system started acting up. Robert his technician came out and "fixed " the problem to the tune of $300 he replaced some valve system worked for about a week. HE came out and tested the water said it was work, water was soft, but I could tell it wasn't. Started to shop around, found out from multiple vendors that the system was undersized for my needs and hardness of water.

+ -1 moreIt went great! I've known Mike for a while now. He put a water softener in my first home and when I moved I immediately thought of him to take care of my current water conditioning needs. His installations were always neatly done with very good attention to detail. And when done they ran perfectly with no issues. He was always very helpful and responsive to my questions and needs. I also recommended Mike to a friend who needed to have a UV light replaced. Mike showed up quickly and the friend was thrilled with the job. I know I can call him anytime and he?d immediately address anything I?d need help with.

+ -1 moreI purchased a water softener from Porta-Soft and a few years later I had a filter installed also and the company has been maintaining the equipment ever since. Mike is the best. I usually call to have the filter cartridge changed and Mike returns my call immediately and within 24 hrs a new cartridge is installed. I can't say enough positive about PortaSoft. The equipment works, work is done immediately, Mike honest and trustworthy and his pricing is more than fair. He's also extremely helpful on other things. A few years ago I needed well pump work done and he helped me out with a recommendation. This is a wonderful company to do business with.
