Ordered carpet in store June 22nd 2011. Was informed that it would be 2 weeks before carpet would arrive from the mill and be fitted. After 2 weeks had passed and no updates had been given on the status of my order I started calling the store. After several weeks of being given the run around, getting told I wasn't their only customer and that they were extremely busy they arrived to fit the carpet on August 6th. It was 6 1/2 weeks from the initial order period and one of the carpets was "in stock" and not coming from the mill yet they made me wait for a fitting until the second carpet arrived. After the fitting everything appeared to be in order until I noticed that the heater panel in the kitchen was not in place. I pushed the panel back in to find that the fitters had cut the carpet around the dislodged front panel and once the panel was pushed back I had a large hole in the carpet. Also carpet under both radiators had not been trimmed flush with the walls. I called their office, waited a week for a call back from "customer service" and was told they would be out on september 12th to repair their mistakes. I waited on the 12th for the fitter to arrive between 8:00am and 11:00am as set up by Majestic. He did not keep his appointment. I called the service rep at 12:30pm and was told they would get back to me. An hour or so later they called to inform me the fitter had a family emergency and that he hadn't kept any of his appointments that morning. I asked why they didn't call me to inform me of this so I didn't blow a whole morning off work waiting for them. The woman informed me that they hadn't been able to reach him all morning and were unaware that he wasn't keeping his appointments! Amazing, talk about customer no service. I would advise people to stay away from this company if they value their own time and money. I would have cancelled the order due to their non performance but small print on the contract would have required me to pay a restocking fee and they already had 50% of the total purchase price in their bank.
