Eagle Hardwoord Flooring was hired by us due to the great reviews we found on Angie's List. Naturally we had high expectations and were not disappointed! Thiago and his team were professional and very accommodating to our time window in which we had to have the floors done. The price was very fair and the job was done right on time and to our fullest satisfaction. Our new tenants will love the new floors! We highly recommend Eagle Hardwood Flooring and we will use them in the future.

My experience with Thiago at Eagle Hardwood was outstanding. He came to the house to take measurements and discuss stain and finish options. I received a detailed written quote the next day. I wanted to get the floors done between my closing date and my move-in date a week and a half later. Thiago worked with me on scheduling the work and promised me that the work would be finished and dried within that time period. The work was completed with a few days to spare. The finished result exceeded my expectations - the floors look brand new. I highly recommend.

I met with a few floor companies, but felt the most comfortable hiring Thiago and his crew. Here is why: 1) Thiago was incredibly responsive via text, email, and phone. I never had trouble getting in touch with him throughout the entire process. 2) Thiago was the most knowledgeable. My husband has some pretty serious chemical allergies - so when I asked Thiago about using water based polyurethane, he knew all about it. He was quick to change the estimate for water based, and the product he suggested is actually what we believe to be the best option currently on the market for those who are chemically sensitive. 3) He was honest and set appropriate expectations. For example, while the dustless system was good, he told me I'll still have to remove a layer of dust, especially given our allergies. So when we moved in I was prepared for a light layer of dust. Another example - the water based polyurethane gives the stain a different look, which he explained very well and was very upfront about it. We happen to prefer this different look so it worked out for us. But my point is, the floors look exactly how I imagined they would, because Thiago communicated clear and definitive expectations to me. Additional notes: On the first day two of his crew members showed up early to start sanding and they were also very professional and respectful. I felt comfortable giving Thiago and his team the keys to our home. Also again, we are super pleased with how our floors came out. Before we hired Thiago, the original floors were crowning, which has now been fixed. Also, as I mentioned the stain and water based finish was beautifully handled by Thiago's team. I will say that Thiago was more expensive than the others I spoke with, however, I feel the additional expense was worth the fantastic quality we received. I would hire Thiago again if I needed to and definitely will recommend him on Angie's list as well as to my friends and family.

It went fantastically well, beginning with their ability to accommodate my need to complete the project on fairly short notice. As only part of the house was being worked on, I was able to remain on the premises throughout. On the first day, two guys were dropped off with all their equipment. They removed the large pieces of furniture, picked up the old wall-to-wall carpeting that covered our foyer, hallways and staircase. The leader, Danny, helped me select the appropriate stain by preparing two square areas with different stains so that I could see how they looked right there on my floor. They worked tirelessly under difficult conditions to get the bulk of the sanding work done. The old carpeting and debris was bundled for disposal and placed by the curb on the appropriate day for municipal garbage pickup. The work area was well sealed off with plastic sheeting so that virtually no sanding dust escaped. Danny returned alone the second day, staying well into the early evening to finish the sanding, and then, with the help of his pickup crew they applied the stain. A separate crew showed up the following morning to apply the first coat of polyurethane, returning later in the afternoon to apply the second (final) coat. Throughout the process, all my questions were answered and every special request was accommodated. When necessary, difficult questions were referred back to Thiago Lima, the boss. I'm thrilled with the result. It was an old, badly abused floor to start with and now it's beautifully smooth (absolutely NO sanding ridges!) with only a few markings here and there from old damage that gives it "character." Due to a last minute change that I made to the scope of the work, the final contract was drawn up well after the work had begun but without a hitch. I really appreciated that trust, given the tight deadline I had to meet. Moreover, there was no problem applying the $250 credit from a Big Deal I had purchased two years earlier but never got around to using before their promotional value expired. I would definitely use Eagle Hardwood Flooring for any future work. They were punctual and very professional.

Thiago was prompt for our first appointment and gave a reasonable estimate for the amount of work required. Gave a follow up call to confirm the work being done. Left the house really clean when completed. I will be hiring them again for Phase II of the work required to bring the house up to my plans.

Thiago was very helpful - he came in a hurry to fix the holes in the floor because I had cabinet installers coming the next day. Once the cabinets were in his team came back in did a great job redoing the floor. They were very careful with the new cabinets / covered everything in plastic. Overall the floor looks great.

Thiago came when he said he would for the estimate. He used a really neat laser measuring device to take dimensions of the room in question. He gave a prompt estimate - which was the least expensive of 4 that I got for the job. We had this work done during a week when we were going out of town. His crew moved our furniture, prepped and cleared the rooms, and executed the job. When we got home, the rooms were done, the floors looked great and the furniture was back where it belonged. The job was done well and professionally. I have no complaints. In fact, I'm planning to use him to put in hardwood floors into my master bedroom after the good job he did for the refinishing project.

Thiago and team did an outstanding job in terms of quality and professionalism. Initially we thought that my molding might need to be disrupted in order to install the floor. However, Eagle Hardwood Flooring was able to avoid having to remove my molding. The result is a beautiful job. I would recommend this company to anyone interested in a perfect result.

I purchased an Angire's list big deal and Thiago contacted me immediately to arrange an inspection. He outlined a schedule including that the area to be sanded needed to be completley cleared of furniture. next the workers would erect plastic drapes to contain the dust. They applied the first coat and then returned to gently re-sand the area in preparation for the 2nd finish coat. Unfortunately, a pipe leaked under the finished floor. This was not due to anything that Thiago's mem did. But it caused a major issue with soaking the drywall, and tiles below. Also a 3foot by 10 foot portion of my beautiful floor had to be removed as the wood buckled due to the water affecting the glue. Thiago came to provide an estimate to correct the problem. After the insurance company agreed to the repair, Thiago was able to replace the wooden foor and you could not tell where the original damage was. All in all it was a hectic month for us but the final outcome was worth it. Eagle Hardwood Flooring did a wonderful job.I will be happy to use them for future work.

Men showed up on time. They worked efficiently and I was very pleased with the results. Their was minimal dust from the sanding.

Tiago gave me an estimate right away, and I had the job done two weeks later. The floors are beautiful, and there wasn't any dust to be cleaned up. His workers are honest, polite, and hard working. I will definitely have them refinish the floors in my next home.

If I could give Thiago and his crew an A++ rating I would! He's probably the best contractor I've worked with. Thiago and his team refinished floors in two small bedrooms. The results are amazing and the floors look absolutely beautiful! And the price was right, so that earns him an A in my book. But Thiago goes above and beyond your typical contractor. He was super, super communicative, answering my questions via email almost immediately to ensure everything was going as I expected. And I had a lot of questions. He was patient and knowledgeable about everything I asked, from stain color to what poly coating would best match our existing finished floors. He told me how long the process would take (roughly 3-4 days) as he is careful to let each coat of stain/poly dry properly to get the best results. He advised me when we could walk on the floors and when it would be safe to move furniture back into the rooms. If you're looking to beautify your wood floors, don't hesitate - Call Thiago!

It is refreshing to see a boss who does the work. Everyone of his guys are truly professional and courteous. I am very impressed with their attention to detail. Thiago has one of the best teams in this business. Thiago himself is very knowledgeable and responsive to all my demands and questions. The price is more than fair and these guys know their business. My new floor looks beautiful!

Obtained several quotes. Thiago impressed with his professionalism and responsiveness. Was not cheapest quote, but we felt Thiago was the best choice because, among other reasons, he seemed very knowledgeable. Came by for quote on a Saturday and was able to start project by following Wednesday (which we needed done quickly). Team had almost entire house sanded by mid-morning, and returned next several days to stain and put down three coats of poly. Only slight complaint is that crew left work site without fully completing clean up (left covers on smoke detectors, left some removable built-ins, curtains, closet systems, etc. piled in a bathroom, did not haul away certain items as agreed, etc.). My sense is they were rushing to start a new job. But when I contacted Thiago (not yet living in house so it was a couple of days), he had it corrected quickly. Overall extremely pleased. His crew also guided us as to color selection (we went a few shades darker). They gave us great choices and we are very happy with the results. I recommend without hesitation.

All went smoothly with the project. We have used Eagle in the past and as usual, they were professional and did a nice job. The team is friendly and easy to work with.

We needed our flooring installed in a rush because of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. I emailed Eagle Hardwood flooring in the morning and Thiago was at my home that evening giving me a quote. The quote was far below what I had expected and others were quoting me. Additionally, Thiago was giving us options we hadn't been offered from others. The work was done professionally and with excellent results. Thiago was responsive and we kept in touch via texts and emails. We had a few changes half-way through the work and he accommodated us. We also had our living room floor sanded and refinished. This was after we had paid someone else to "do" our floors. The results were night and day and the price as well. I highly recommend Eagle Hardwood Flooring.

Thiago (owner) was spot on with price, and did exactly what he said he would when he said he would. Crew started right away and was very professional, and Thiago was available at all times to answer any questions that popped up. Cleaned up every day before leaving and the floors look amazing and 10 times better than the downstairs floors for which I used another provider 2 years ago. I highly recommend.
