I decided to have Toscano install flooring for me based on their reviews and Martins *knowledge*. Turns out, Martin is the owner and very much a salesman. So the nightmare begins: the estimate was for the flooring and installation in my living room and small hall; my stairs were to be sanded down and refinished to match the floors. First problem: the technician threw out ALL the treads. They attempted to slap flooring on the stairs and bullnose for the curved part of the stair lip. The problem was it did not match the flooring. The flooring was a blonde and the bullnose was orange. Martin tried to convince me that this was the latest *fashion*. The second problem was that the bullnose was a 1/2 inch HIGHER than the rest of the step. When going up or down, I had to walk sidewise to avoid the uneven surface. My 80-year-old father could not use the stairs because it was a serious safety hazard. An estimate was given to replace the treads for $800. Fine, no problem. Apparently Martin, the owner, forgot this (or did not read the contract I was sent) and said it would be another $2,400 to fix the stairs. I had to have my husband handle it because I am a hothead and lack patience for unscrupulous behavior. Martin tried to play my husband against me by saying this is what I asked for and agreed to. Wrong, Martin, just wrong. My husband referred him to the contract. Still, Martin was not willing to abide by the terms of the contract, so my husband wrote a review of our experience and mentioned Martin by name. This bothered Martin very much and he begrudgingly agreed to send a tech to finish my stairs IF my husband took down his review. We see where Martin, the owner, stands with morals. It took 3 weeks for the start or the project for my stairs to be completed. Not the company to use if you want the project to be completed in the time frame given. And finally, free and clear of Martin and his company...until I noticed the floors *bounced*. They were not slightly bending. Martin claimed that it was normal and the floor was supposed to do that. I sent him a video of a floor lamp shaking while my 9 lb cat walked across the floor. He agreed to look at the spongy floor. Of course, he checked for moisture (my suspicion is he was hoping we CAUSED the spongy floor--Martin was wrong). Also, the floors started shifting leaving gaps, not slivers, but gaps between planks. The tech came out again (could not tell you how many times he had to come out). I had to move furniture AGAIN. He took up the 1/3 of the floors and re-installed them. Within a few days, the planks started to drift again and the sponge factor was in a different place. Did I mention that they laid a quick-dry concrete sub-flooring to ensure the floor would be leveled? Listen to the negative reviews. They are an accurate representation of Martin and his company. I am not saying he has not done any good work but he manipulates his ratings if he needs. Why the delay in my review? I am tired of seeing the gaps and feeling the spongy floor. Do not be duped by Toscano or its owner, Martin. And Martin, do not contact us asking for us to alter our review AGAIN.

Prompt work, professionally executed, and pleasant crew chief. I'm sure that you can find a cheaper price out there, but I am a believer in you get what you pay for! Customer service from office via email and phone was exceptional.

I was very pleased with their work and customer service. First price quote was too high but they worked with me to bring it down to a fair number. Nice company. Very professional and the work was excellent.

Did a good ob - on time and floor looks great. Could have explained a bit more about filling in the gaps on the wood floor (hence the 1/2 point deduction). Know better for next time. Customer service is exemplary! And based on my neighbor, the workers were quiet.

The team at Toscano was on top of it. They came in, quoted fairly and stayed on top of the project throughout. Even as we split the work into 2 days that ere months apart. Never missed a beat. Would hire them again tomorrow.

The communication process was fantastic. Our only complaint is that The workers didnâ t know that brown paper has to be laid down in our building when you work in any apartment. They didnâ t come with it but they remedied the situation quickly. Flooring turned out excellent.

Toscano Floor Designs laid the wood flooring in my apt and painted the walls and ceiling. The wood flooring work is excellent and my rooms feel luxurious! The flooring and painting was done by Justo, and the project was coordinated by Martin. They both create an atmosphere where questions are welcomed and answered immediately. They are knowledgeable, prompt and efficient. The whole Toscano team is attentive and professional. I felt confident entrusting my project to them. The results in my apt's rooms are my proof that they are the right team to choose.

Toscano s team was extremely responsive from sales to completion. We came up with a good solution to a specfic old flooring problem. Their concierge project management app was amazing and kept menup to date throughout the project. It was very reassuring. The work team was prompt courteous and they did timely work. My final flooring looked terrific. I would highly recommend them.
