I have used Charles Heating for 19 years for all of my properties. They are consistently the most professional, timely, knowledgeable and good natured contractors I have ever worked with. Every single service tech that has come to my home has been polite, efficient, prepared and communicative. I always recommend Charles Heating to my friends and have been a Club Member for 19 years. Today’s annual furnace check from Jayson was, as usual, professional, friendly, courteous, timely, knowledgeable and a pleasure. They are a shiny example of a family run business who treats their employees well and in turn the employees provide excellent service to the customer.

Had my annual check and cleaning done on October 23 by Jayson. He showed up on time, suggested a couple of repairs and was very professional. As always I am very satisfied with Charles Heating and Air Conditioning.

I have a contract with Charles to service my furnace and air conditioning unit. All the contractors I have dealt with have been very courteous and knowledgeable. They appear on time and call before they arrive to let you know when they will be there. They put shoe covers on even when going directly into the basement. Most recently, I had Rich B as the service man. He was friendly and efficient and answered all my questions while he cleaned and serviced my furnace for the winter season. I would recommend this business and service contract to anyone in the Syracuse area.

Awesome Job. Mike Charles Jr. came out and spec out what we needed and guided us throughout the whole process and made many recommendations and the price were the same or less than 3 other quotes. Explained what we needed to do ahead of time and came onsite with 4 guys on day one for the removal and installation of the old octopus furnace and installation of the new furnace. One guy was removing the old stuff and taking offsite, one guy was making new vents and installing new HVAC duckwork and 2 guys were doing the new furnace. One day 2 they installed the new hotwater tank and removed the old one. thoughtout the whole process we had hot water both days except for 2 hours and we had heat on day one. Great guys, came at 8am as planned and worked hard. I think Josh and Todd were very professional and showed my wife how you use the new thermostat. Unfort I don't know the 2 other guys names. Highly recommend these guys and Charles Heating and Air Conditioning from Liverpool They even swept the basement clean

Jayson was our technician. He was on time, thorough, cleaned up and assured us that all was in good working order for the long cold NY winter. We have used Charles for several years and would recommend them.

Jayson showed up right on time and, as usual, was very professional and friendly. He is also good with my dog. We have been with Charles for about seven years now and are always very happy with their work.

Karl was very professional and efficient and did an excellent job converting our furnace hookup from propane to natural gas. He installed new piping and set us up perfectly for a new water heater. I am extremely pleased with his work and highly recommend him and Charles for any heating needs!

Rich B was very professional & thorough in checking & cleaning of my AC unit. He was friendly & answered all my questions. He didn’t rush. I am a longtime Charles customer & will absolutely request Rich B. for my next service appointment.

As someone who has had to use many contractors in recent years, I honestly can say most are good, but very few stand out. I think it’s important to let other people know about them, so they can succeed, and the poorer contractors get weeded out when they stop getting customers. My recent experience with Charles Heating & Air Conditioning, and their owners and staff, Zach Charles and installers Brian and Jim, was a well above average experience. Zach Charles presented all my options to me, when I was choosing a new heating and a new cooling systems. He answered all my questions, and gave me exact prices about what I was interested in. None of this “ it is around this price or it should cost about” nonsense. He gave me exact quotes. When I decided on using Charles Heating and Air Conditioning, their installers Brian and Jim showed up exactly on time. Some might think that is no big deal, but then maybe they have not dealt with as many contractors as I have. Brian and Jim worked continuously throughout the installation, from the time they arrived until the time they left. They asked me if I had any questions before they started, and they asked me if I had any questions before they left. When they were done, they cleaned up to the extent no one would be able to tell I had anything done on the house. They reviewed my new furnace’s and new air conditioner’s features with me, and talked me thru how to best take care of the new systems. They also helped me fill out the energy efficient rebate form, and took it to send out from their office when we were done. All in all, a very good experience from start to finish, which when working with contractors isn’t always the case.

Brian and Jim couldn’t have been more professional. They worked in the house for a number of hours and you would never know they were here. I couldn’t believe how clean they left everything. We would hire Charles anytime!

Installers Todd and Dan R were very efficient in installing the AC unit. They were here for about 4 hours and were clean, courteous and professional. They answered all our questions for operating our new AC system. We can only praise Charles's Heating company as very professional and we would not hesitate to use them again for any other needs in the future.

John and Jim did a great job with our new furnace and AC installation. They were in and out in a very reasonable amount of time (about 5-6 hours), considering they relocated our AC unit, ran new wiring for electrical, and new cooling lines. They also hooked up our humidifier correctly, as the person who originally installed it did not. You couldn't even tell that they were there as they left nothing but the new units behind. Dan is a great salesman to work with as well. The whole process was a breeze! We've always trusted Charles Heating and Air with our homes, and we will continue to do so!

Arrived a bit early ( after phone call) which fit our schedule. Perfectly. Did all work necessary, shared tips to keep system running smoothly. A pleasure to have in our home. Clean, neat, professional. Cost below is annual contract wi Hitch we have had since 2011. Well worth annual cost!!

No wonder I couldn't find it. Awaiting an estimate to install a new one. Only took him 10 mins to find what 2 other Techs. had missed. Great Job Rich.

Today I had my central air conditioning yearly maintenance checkup and cleaning done by Jayson. He showed up on time, was very professional and friendly. I was very satisfied with the maintenance that Jayson did today. This service is covered under their club membership which I have for both my central air and heat.

Everything was very good..with the furnace ...no complaints at all.... Jason was friendly, professional and competent with the yearly cleaning we had done....I would recommend very highly Charles Heating and Air Conditioning ....
