What I like is Mike has a good rapport and seems to be a pretty decent guy all in all. I haven't had anything to say he has screwed me over. He's a pretty straight shooter.

Excellent! Mike and his staff are outstanding mechanics who provide quality service and provide recommendations that are right on. This particular group of services cost me more than I would have expected for these services but, in fairness, I am not used to the charges for this car, my daughter's Volkswagen. I understand that foreign makes tend to cost a bit more but I was surprised at how much.

I found Mike's via Angies List, called them Saturday the 6th, spoke to Mike, explained the problem, he told me to bring it in on Monday morning and they would see it and give me a quote then. Brought car in on Monday morning, showed him what was going on with the heater/ac and he told me they would get right on it and they would call me back in 3 hours (I also explained that i needed the car by Wednesday night to drive to work the next morning, he assured me that it would be done by then) Never got a call back from Mike by Monday evening, I call him back, he promises me that they would definitely get to the car on Tuesday.... I call Tuesday around 12 noon to checkup on the status of the car, he tells me that they will be able to tell me in a couple of hours when they get to look at it, and give me the estimate..... No call back.... its now almost closing time, I call them before they close to find out the status, Mike tells me that they will get to the car on WEDNESDAY... (remember, i absolutely need the car by closing time Wednesday so i can go to work on Thursday).... After hanging up the phone, I realized that he promised me 3 times (3 strikes) they would see the car and get back to me and failed to not only keep those promises, but also failed to even bother calling me back with an updates every time as he also promised... (hello, classic warning signs) I realized i could not continue to rely their promises (I lost all FAITH in their ability to deliver as promised) and that I had better just go pick up the car right then and there before things possibly escalate into nightmare scenarios, for once the car is in pieces I would then possibly be at their mercy... considering the honesty track record they established with me these past few days of not keeping their promises, I was getting real worried. I showed up at their shop a few minutes later unannounced to pick up my car. I told him that i could not leave it another day due to the fact that i lost total faith in their promises. He explained how busy they were, and i asked him if they were so busy why did he tell me to bring it in and promise me they would see it every day, but didnt. He tried to convince me the they would and quot;reallyand quot; and quot;for realand quot; and quot;get to my car tomorrow morningand quot; yet again(!!)... (oh and have it all done and back together by the end of that day so i can drive to work the next day? I had a real hard time believing him)... I told him, thanks but at this point with all the broken promises and failure to communicate the status of the vehicle as he claimed he would do, that i had zero faith in their word at this point and promising me and quot;tomorrowand quot; again was unbelievable. He apologized, we shook hands, no charges for no work done and I drove off with my car. All in all, Mike seemed like a good guy and he says he has been in business for 20 years. His lot was full of cars everywhere, looks as he has plenty of business and lots of people on his waiting list. Would i ever dare leave my car with them again? NO. I'm back to looking for a good reputable repair shop that will keep promises and i can TRUST with my vehicle.

He is very trustworthy. Overall, I am satisfied with the services he provide.
