Mr. Nunez and his team exceeded my expectations! I needed new stair railings ASAP due to my husband returning to home from a long-term hospitalization, and Nunez Construction & Painting came to my rescue, and had his crew at my home the very next morning! From the initial inquiry to the very end, Mr. Nunez answered each and every one of my inquiries and messages in a prompt and courteous manner and showed up exactly when he said he would, twice. His estimate was in line with the others that received, and very fair. The railings came out sturdy and beautiful, and the paint job was meticulous. Thank you, Mr. Nunez, for making a very stressful time in our lives so much easier! You are a true professional. I would not hesitate to hire Nunez Construction & Painting again, and would recommend them to any of my family and friends.

I had standing water in my crawl space. These guys installed a French drainage system with catch basin and sump pump. They did this inside my crawl space! They left my yard exactly as they found it and the job was done in a few days! This is the company you want to fix your drainage problems!! Great customer service.

This is an honest review to help both future customers and Mr. Nunez. Overall the work done did come out pretty ok. We wished Mr. Nunez communicated better in the beginning as to how the project will work and what to expect and when certain things would need to be done. Since this is his profession, we figured he would know how to guide the customers properly so that the work would be done smoothly and in a timely manner. There were some pros and cons. After contacting Mr. Nunez and agreeing to the work, he said he would draw up a contract and and email it to me. I said ok, but I also expected him to swing by and with pen and pad to go over exactly what we wanted in our new bath and how we wanted it to look. This never happened, he mainly drew up a contract based on what was briefly spoken for 5 to 10 mins when he came to take a look at the issue which was the leak in the kitchen, then I showed him the bath and asked for a estimate on a remodel. Once the work started, the workers were very polite and took care to spread paper where they were working and walking and cleaned up after they were done. After the first couple of days, we noticed not much attention was being given to clean up at the end of the work day. The main guy doing the job after the demo was done, was working well, but made his own schedule on certain days which prolonged the work and was also due to him running out of materials (tiles...etc) and had to wait. Since there was no major communication in the beginning, we had no idea when we had to have the the bath accessories (toilet, vanity, shower doors, pantry) by for them to install. When we decided to ask, that is when we found out Mr Nunez will not be going with us to pick out these items, at least to tell us what will fit or not fit. We were not even given proper measurements so that we can order correct items that would fit. We had to scramble quickly online to order stuff from Home Depot and amazon, and cancel certain orders then reorder again etc, all because we were not given correct measurements and was not told when we should have the items by for them to be installed. We had to inquire for this info. Because of this, the project was delayed, now we had to wait for items to be delivered and had to pick up items from Home Depot after it was delivered there. After the main work was done, we told them we will wait till we have all the items and then call them to install them. After we started to inquire and express our concerns about the communication, Mr. Nunez, seemed to acknowledge it a little because he was showing more attention. He would always respond to our concerns and would answer all of our calls and said to call him anytime. He was very receptive that way and took care of all other issues. All in all the project was to last 2 weeks but ended up lasting almost 4 weeks because of the lack of proper communication. This is a definite learning experience for us. Now we know what we need to do from the beginning to make sure things run a bit more smoothly. We also hope Mr Nunez will take away some tips from this project that will help him for future projects. Although there were some hiccups, Mr. Nunez did keep working with us until the end and did make sure we were satisfied. Yes, we would give Mr. Nunez a try again in the future but will also apply what we have learned.

The big access holes the plumber made in our dining room ceiling and wall have disappeared! Efren, the owner, came to give an estimate and we scheduled the work for a few days later. He also visited at the beginning and end of the job, and checked in via phone. The worker (sorry I didn't catch his name) was a pro. He stayed on the job until everything looked perfect, and did a thorough clean-up. I thought the price was quite fair, given that labor and materials were included, and the worker was here for over 9 hours. Would most definitely recommend, and will likely hire for future projects.

It looks beautiful. The raw walls and ceiling were insulated and drywalled. They kept visible some of the original features - ceiling bracing, door - as requested. Electrical elements were redone or relocated as needed. A nice durawood floor was installed.

Well and quickly. Mr. Nunez completed his assessment of the problem and gave me a price promptly. Mr Nunez's men took on this difficult task and completed it quickly. Post job clean up was complete.

The owner came very quickly to give me a free estimate. He explained that I did not need the extensive work that others said that I needed. I was shocked at his level of honesty, giving me information that would help me resolve the problem while not suggesting things that would profit him. Incredibly honest!!! When in need of construction services, he would be my number one choice!

It was a pleasure working with Nunez Construction and Painting crew. Communication was frequent from them. Made sure that they completed in time. The lead manager was very honest and gave me suggestions that would and wouldn't work. Nunez Construction and Painting is excellent!

Efren Nunez made what could have been a stressful experience almost pleasant! My new (yet to be moved into) co-op apartment needed the work completed within a week and Efren worked hard to accommodate and meet the deadline. The ceilings and apartment look great. The crew left the place spotless. Very professional.

After they did my stucco repair and painting, I hired them for work on my mom's house. I plan to hire them again and my friend is also interested. They were prompt, worked hard and the jobs were well done.

This is the second time we have worked with Nunez and once again we were happy with their work. They gave us a start date and began work on that day and ended in the time they said they would. All their workmen were just great and very accomodating. They cleaned up after each day and kept the construction area to a minimum.

This was all done in one day and the workers were punctual, professional and very polite. This is the second job I've had done by Nunez and I am very pleased. I will definitely hire again. I am already preparing my next list of things to do. Thank you Nunez!

The crew was on time, polite and professional. Their work was excellent and they cleaned the mess during construction and at the end. I will be hiring them again in the spring to redo my floor and my mom is hiring them to hang new doors for her. The time frame for the job was accurate. Highly recommend them!

Efran Nunez was easy to work with, he listened to my needs and worked with me, the results were excellent. The workers were polite, came on time worked hard. The job was finished ahead of time.

Through a recommendation from a co-worker after his home renovation by Nunez Construction, I contacted Efren (the owner) via website inquiry and he responded within 2 days. He arrived on time for the work evaluation and provided an estimate hours later. He provided the most cost-efficient with more repairs and a competitive price out of 3 contractors' estimates. We agreed with the price and he was able to begin the repairs in 5 days. The work contract also mentioned approximately 2 days of repair completion and disposal of materials afterwards. Nunez Construction was able to begin work on a Saturday. Efren had a team if 6 men with a supervisor on-site. All of them work efficiently and cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. They were all friendly and easy to talk to when pointing out some details. Efren was also on site and got his hands dirty when needed. As the contract mentioned, they finished in exactly 2 days and Efren was back on-site to survey the repairs. He was accessible throughout the process via text, phone and email. As I've told Efren at last day, after many years on dealing with other contractors on and off the books we have finally found someone RELIABLE and HONEST who will do the job right and work with you throughout the process. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NUNEZ CONSTRUCTION and we'll definitely continue doing business with them.

It went well. The job took two weeks longer to get started than we originally agreed. Mr. Nunez said it was because it took time to order the steel door. However, once the work was started it was completed within three days. I am happy with the results. And I would be willing to use this company again for other jobs in the future. I had asked for an insurance certificate accepting liability for his workers as required by my insurance carrier. He supplied this on the day of the job as I had requested.

They were very professional. He did the painting very good. I have used him several times. He does a good job. Everybody comments on the color in my bedroom. He was very good. Stairs, you know how things needs scraping, and how the banisters go. Its not like the bedroom. He was very good. He was very reasonable in price.

Mr. Nunez and company are miracle makers. He and his company worked magic in creating a gorgeous apartment from an old outdated one. I am deeply grateful to Mr. Nunez and company. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is in need for their services in Brooklyn.

Great. I got exactly what I needed and it looks great. Efren and his team were lovely to work with, they made it easy for me, were clean and punctual and all very nice guys. When some unforeseen issues came up we resolved it quickly, got an updated price and they finished the extra work without any delays to the schedule.

Mr Nunez is pleasant man who arrived at appointed time for an estimate.He said he would provide the estimate later. After several phone calls the estimate was provided .I was shocked at the price which was way out line with the type of job

My wife and I originally wanted to upgrade our kitchen and bathroom. We interviewed a number of contractors. Only the owner of Nunez Construction, Efren, took his time with us, and was willing to listen patiently about our wants and needs concerning the renovations we had in mind. During the course of the renovation, if we had a problem or wanted a different look from what we originally agreed upon, he and his team fixed it right away. His team worked efficiently, utilizing the time they had, and got the work done ahead of the agreed upon schedule. The completed projected, in which we ended up renovating the whole apartment, exceeded our expectations. I rate Nunez Construction an “A” and would consider them for future projects.
