Description of Work: They redid my driveway earlier this year and told me they would seal it in October but they got to busy after I texted them 3-5x following up. Just awful communication skills, absolutely awful. I had to follow up 3,4,5 or more times for basic things like redoing grout that they forgot to do which was in their quote. Also 2 of my neighbors used them to redo their driveway because they were working on mine so annoyed that they blew me off and didn’t seal the driveway which they told me they would do after I already paid them $20k for that job. Save your time and use someone else, work they do is OK, price is cheap but a massive headache from start to finish

Description of Work: We are very pleased with the work performed by Julio and crew. The bid was reasonable, and the work was performed on-time and as promised. The crew ripped out the old deteriorated driveway and installed new flagstone walkway set in concrete and a new asphalt driveway. The driveway and walkway are both lined with Belgian block. Julio and team had nice design ideas which added aesthetic value. They also removes and reinstalled a linear drain and new piping which previous contractor had incorrectly installed. The crew was careful with a large maple tree adjacent to the driveway and was also respectful of our neighbor's property. Our new driveway and walkway are beautiful. We would definitely hire Carrea again.

Description of Work: He came and gave me an estimate. two days later, I called to tell him I wanted him to do my driveway. He would not commit to a date, because of the weather. He promised to get back to me for scheduling. He never did. I called again 2 times, and he was evasive. I finally hired someone else. he never called back.

Description of Work: Repair major deep holes along the driveway, reset large stones at the end of the driveway, remove old asphalt within the two garage door entries and then did an outstanding good job of repaving the whole driveway and large turnaround space. A big job really well done!

Description of Work: They resurfaced a small private road that connects three houses to the town road. Mr. Carrea showed up on the day he promised, and finished in one day (as promised). We are pleased with his work.

Description of Work: I got burned by another contracter who took my $1500 deposit, did minimal work and then abanded me. Jim Carrea had to finish the job quickly as the asphalt plant closed on 12/17. The speed of the job was extemely important to me as the previous contracter left my driveway in a state of disrepair and unusable. Jim not only finished it on time he did not even ask for a deposit because of my lost deposit with the previous contracter. I trusted Jim so much I didn't feel I need to be present for any of the project (and I wasn't). The driveway looks great and the price was reasonable (my driveway is almost 190 feet long). The lesson I learned is don't always take the cheapest quote. They may have no intention of finishing your project.
