Description of Work: Was just checking things out on my account where I read the companies response to a review about how they helped hundreds of families after Super Storm Sandy. I almost fell out of my chair. Please read my previous review and do not use this company.

Description of Work: I called this company to clean out my vents because I bought this place 2 years ago and I didn't know when they were last cleaned. As it turned out, they were very, very dirty. I also had them clean my clothes dryer and my air conditioner inside unit. All were extremely dirty so possibly they were not cleaned for years. The two men who came were very professional and polite. I would use this company again.

Description of Work: RIP OFF!!! They said they were "cleaning our vents" then found mold and wanted to clean that too - that was the additional egregious cost. It's a mystery to me what they did for an additional $1000 - They are crooks.

Description of Work: My crawl space, garage, and boiler room all flooded from super storm Sandy. Green Pro sent out a representitive to the neighborhood to go door to door and let us know about the service they provided. A Serv Pro team from New Hampshire was already doing remediation work in the area. I chose to go with Green Pro due to a professional presentation from the salesman and that they were a local company. They sent a three man crew of early twenty-somethings to my home. The most experienced guy told me he had been with the company three months. One guy had his arm in a sling and was complaining how his Vicodin was making him feel sick. They were supposed to clean the entire crawl space, scrubbing all of the beams and walls and cleaning the floor. Then they were supposed to apply an anti-microbial chemical to everything. They did not scrub ONE beam or spray any chemical. All they did was sweep my floor. On my first floor all of the sheetrock was removed four feet up from the floor exposing the studs. They were supposed to scrub all of the beams that were exposed and apply the chemical. They scrubbed about half of the beams. Apparently the ones along the baseboard were too much work to do. The senior man was unable to get my garage floor clean and suggested that I try and clean it one more time before I move stuff into it. After they left I spoke with the owner who was very attentive to my needs. He sent his A-team over the following Monday to check the job out. After forwarding photos of the incomplete work to the owner he called me and apologized. The work ont the first floor was completed to satisfaction. The work in the crawl space was done poorly. About 2/3 of the beams were scrubbed. Instead of dealing with the company again I just did it myself.

Description of Work: We had been looking for a reliable company to do the ducts, but had only on "lukewarm" referral; saw GreenPro advertised in Newsday offering sale price on ducts and dryer cleaning; the owner Micheal (who never identifies himself on the phone) was OK on first encounter and I scheduled the above work totalling about $650.00. Two polite young men came to do this on time;they found mold in a couple of ducts, filters and one system in the crawl space, showed me the mold and set about writing up suggested treatment for mold found; this totaled another $2,150; they said they would call in to see about a discount; since I was a new customer (think they shlould have known that), Mike gave me the "new customer" discount of 10% "as long as I promised to give out his cards"..............it was OBVIUOSLY a rountine; however, we did agree to have the mold remediation done for the price; they had to return the following Monday to install a UV light in crawl space and two "custom" filters; I called before this service call and "OF COURSE" Mike remebered me(?); I said that the guys had left the dryer vent UNATTACHED, which I didn't see right away because they moved the machine; I said for $2,500 that they should have remebered something so important; he agreed; when service guy did not show in the window I WAS GIVEN on day of initial work, I called again; this time I was "mame" because I HAD THE TIME WRONG and he continued to argue over me; The second service was performed and he reatteched the dryer and I also asked him to take BLACK fingerprints off all around one of the vents and he did (I cleaned the other one); I ask alot of questions, but I am still confused as to why this kind of work costs this much (no one could say there was enough mold to make us sick); well, bad attitude and lack of profesionalism (especially from the owner) ALWAYS make a job seem more expensive than it should have!!!! Description of Work: Greenpro came in and removed several feet of wall to clean/remediate a mold problem that we had in our garage as the result of a leaking pipe. They completely removed all mold. They treated the infected area with green products. They bagged all debris and cleaned up.

Description of Work: Cleaned all air vents. Had a large mold problem. Removed all mold, disinfected, cleaned all vents. Installed UV light to prevent future mold and installed special A/C filter to take all allergies out of the air.
