Lindfield Transmission & Repairs

My car was fixed in a timely manner and at the price I was quoted. I couldn't ask for better customer service !

I called Stewart Lindfield and told him I'd been recommended to him and that I was concerned about my car. He said to bring it in. We took nearly 20 minutes to test drive it , with him analyzing as we drove. He speculated as to what the problem was & he highly doubted it was a transmission issue. I offered to leave my car 2 days , just in case it was a transmission problem... which it wasn't. The drive axles and the shaft assembly needed replacement. A tire needed balancing that a prior mechanic had said he'd done . My PFC vacuum switch valve needed replacement . I had my battery replaced as a preventive & my inspection done while the car was there. I am in a controlled state of euphoria with the results. My car runs smoothly. I love my car again . I feel safe. The problem was diagnosed correctly and immediately . The oil issue was minor, with him recommending a different idea, first, other than having the head gasket replaced. He was honest with me and saved me $600, if he had wanted to take advantage. Even though my car is nearly 10 years old , I am confident, now , I have reliable transportation. The owner, Mr. Lindfield, listened attentively, did not rush me, made suggestions. He took every one of my followup phone calls , with me asking to have yet another something be looked at or added. I am a controlled praise-giver, yet , Mr. Lindfield allows me to praise him for his competence, professionalism, integrity, kindness and fairness. He is an overall A+ person and mechanic !
