Description of Work: Replaced patio with Trex Decking. Jason visited the home on at least two occasions and provided a 3D rendering of the deck. I had at least two change orders and he processed them with no delay or issue. Also provides very competitive pricing for service-members and worked within my budget. Lou was extremely helpful, even agreeing to remove additional debris from the yard at no cost. One item regarding the Trex brand (not the builder), web issues have delayed the issuance of my Trex warranty - the only outstanding item. For those looking to build or replace a deck, educate yourself on the support system options. In any event, the builder provides a lifetime warranty on the support structure. Enjoying the new deck!

Description of Work: Decks Unique replaced our 25 year old cedar decking with ipe. They were able to use the orignal frame and installed the ipe on the existing understructure. The craftsmanship, service, and professionalism were all outstanding. The crew of six are all carpenters. The decking was installed without seams, nails or screws. The entire 1,000 square foot deck was done in three days! The result is quite beautiful. Decks Unique has my unqualified recommendation!

Description of Work: They provided a drawing and a quote. At the time we decided to replace the windows instead of adding a deck so we did not move forwards with the project. But the company was verey responsive.

Description of Work: Decks Unique was extremely professional, prompt, and pleasant when they came to my home to evaluate my needs. They responded quickly with a design in accordance with my desired layout. However, I have had to postpone the work due to other commitments at this time. I will definitely consider them when I am ready to proceed.

Description of Work: Decks Unique called immediately on April 1, 2013 when the order was placed, and scheduled an appointment for 12:00PM on April 25, 2013. One week before the appointment, I received a call to cancel and reschedule. We tried to reschedule for April 22, 2013, but could not. I was then told that Jason would call me and set the appointment. After two or three days I called them because I had not heard from Jason. They had difficulty finding the order, but added that Yes, Jason would call me. By April 24, 2013 I had not received a call. On April 25, 2013, the day of the original appointment, I received another call to cancel the 12:00PM appointment. The lady apologized saying that Jason just couldn't get out there. I then told the lady who called that I live one hour and fifteen minutes from their location. They advertise that they service this area, but if they cannot get out here, they should not advertise that they do. I stated that they had wasted 3 weeks of my project. It is clear that these people are not business people!

Description of Work: 'Decks Unique' built us a wonderful deck with stairs suitable for a person using a walker to negotiate. [4"risers with a large platform inbetween steps]. A "Village" permit was required and was handled in a reasonabe amount of time. We are delighted with the beauty and the ease of access it allows my mother.
