Couldn't have gone better! I received a quote instantly from Daniel. The price was fair and competitive. I had to make one call to confirm when the job would begin but once started it was completed in a matter of hours! What fantastic work. I plan to employ them again when I do the rest of the driveway.

Joshua Paving was fantastic. They called me back almost immediately after receiving my inquiry and showed up later the same day to do an estimate. We scheduled an appointment for them to come and redo our gravel driveway (smooth out potholes and put down new stone). They showed up promptly and completed the work as they had explained. Our driveway now looks fantastic! There are no more potholes as they re-graded the driveway, and after putting down the new stone they compacted it using a heavy rolling machine. Our driveway almost looks like one that is paved with blacktop! Would highly recommend and use Joshua paving again for our paving needs.

It was excellent I watched them the whole time and my neighbors came over and said how professional they were and how they took their time. There was one guy I think he said he was with the company for a long time and he did a Beautiful job down the side of the drive way and every so many feet he was walk ahead of the machine and look back at the side of the drive way and then went back over and hit it some more with his rake thingy and it came out perfect. Daniel treats all his workers like family and they all are very good at each job they have to do from start to finish they pay attention to every detail I will deff recommend them to family and friends. I just wanted to send a big THANK YOU to the Joshua Paving Family.

They did a great job. Very professional, and courteous. They said they would be at my house at 1:00 and was there exactly on time. There were 6 workers and they all worked in unison. I would definitely recommend them. They also charged a very fair price.

Joshua Paving and his large convoy of equipment and crew did a great job! I received a written estimate within 2 days of my initial call, and talked with Daniel Stanley about my special concerns for the job. He proposed a job date if hired, that same week. It all went exactly as planned; I paid exactly the estimated amount, and the job was done on the date promised as we discussed during the estimate. As for the job quality, it is great! The key is the job foreman, Mark, who got told my concerns from Daniel, and was VERY responsive to working directly with me, paying attention to my particulars of seaming with the existing concrete sidewalk (Mark and crew trimmed the sidewalk with a concrete saw), grading the elevation in a certain way for water drainage, neatly trimming the perimeter edges to the yard, staking out and paint marking measurements, going over areas that needed more attention or leveling, performing a water puddle test on the final finish, calling me "sir", etc. Completely responsive, respectful, and in total charge of the large 8 man crew, and much heavy equipment, and efficiently keeping all these moving parts humming on the very time sensitive schedule of getting trucks full of steaming hot asphalt laid and leveled, foot by foot, followed by careful clean-up. Mark, the foreman, also works for the highway dept, has much experience, is not only meticulous in details, but also wears a red/white/blue bandana totally ruling his construction site, and proud of it! Daniel has good judgement in hiring his crew, keeps his equipment in good shape and very clean, has good business practices, and does what he commits, as seen by the dozen satisfied home owners in my neighborhood all sporting his JOSHUA PAVING sign on the apron of their driveways. Joshua Paving is definitely on my re-hire list, and I will call again for periodic seal coating.

Poor communication, does not meet commitments and incomplete job. I was promised I would get an estimate. I called after an extended period of time and she said she left the estimate on my mail box (like she always does). Why, didn?t I see it? She said she would let me know when she could get it done. After another extended period of time with no phone call, she said she had been trying to reach me but got no answer (my phone system keeps a record of all incoming / missed calls). After they left, I realized that the edging was not done in an area of several feet (they just eyeballed it and didn?t cut all the growth back). I completed the edging myself and sent a picture. Again my calls we met with clever noncommittal responses, but promised they would come back. After the first week, she snapped at me and said ?I told you I would take care of it. After the second week, she still tried to avoid making a commitment of when it would be done. I finally requested a specific date as to when the job would be completed. That was last week.

Joshua paving sprayed my driveway with the thinnest possible layer. From 20 feet away it looks great, but up close you can see none of the small cracks were filed. THESE ARE NOT CRACKS THAT REQUIRE REPAIR WITH ASPHALT...ONLY SEALING They have mealy painted my driveway BLACK! IT is not sealed! I will have do it over myself with a squeegee to do it right. All the time she's doing this she's arguing with me as if I know nothing about it.. When I asked for the Veterans discount, She stated they give the discount to everyone... REALLY??? So if you give everyone a discount, how can you advertise you give Vets a special discount..????? On their website, They advertise they Have a " CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEE" . So, after I contacted them about their POOR job she responded that if I wanted the spider cracks filled.... SHE WOULD BE HAPPY TO PUT IN A NEW DRIVEWAY They loose on all four counts Product... Service.... price...and guarantee! If you smart... hire someone else! AND THEY DEMAND CASH FOR PAYMENT... , CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT! See My pictures... does that looked sealed? Several of my neighbors have recently used Joshua Paving so I phoned them on a Thursday evening asking for a quote to seal my driveway. The company's office is about 45 minutes from my house and they seem to have a large service area but their estimator was in my driveway by noon the following day. After he gave me a quote, he arranged to have a crew come by later that day. The crew arrived around 5:30pm and began by using a torch to kill all the vegetation that might be coming through the existing pavement. Then, they edged the driveway to get the lawn, which had grown over the sides of the pavement over the years, back where it was supposed to be. Since we had an appointment elsewhere, we left the crew to finish on their own. The next day, I found that they had masked all the walkways, rock walls and the house in the area they were going to spray in order to avoid getting the sealer on anything it wasn't supposed to touch. It was a flawless job and the crew had been extremely solicitous and friendly. Our driveway is about 100 feet long and we have a turnaround in front of the two car garage that enters the side of the house. I don't know how many square feet the whole thing is, but it's a decent size. The price wasn't the lowest I was quoted but this was the first time I've had a company edge the driveway and mask everything before they went to work. I'm pleased and would recommend Joshua Paving.

Contractor stated would arrive between 12 and 3 pm. I phoned contractor for ETA, contractor stated that they thought I understood that they were coming at 530 pm and that they were not in contact with workers in the field. At 630 pm I concluded that contractor would be a no show. Contractor showed up at approximately 7 pm and applied seal coat at twilight. I initially selected Joshua Paving because their ad in the phone book stated the ability to fill cracks. The contractor did not advise that the cracks would or could not be filled at the time of the estimate several days before the job was to be done. During the application of the seal coat I inquired as to status of the cracks that were not being completely filled (she) the contractor advised me that it would be ok because the seal coat needed to breathe, that the cracks would not get worse over the winter, that if the cracks were completly covered they would reappear anyway and pointed to a neighbor's driveway saying that the smooth surface of that driveway would be cracked because the cracks were coated over and could not breathe. She further stated that her grandfather said that dirt in the cracks was good and that the dirt should be left in the cracks. Finally, she requested that the check be made out to someone other than Joshua Paving. Basic physics: Water expands as it freezes creating cracks in pavement or making existing cracks larger. The freeze thaw pattern of winter weather would have widened the cracks left exposed. If the treatment she provided wouldn't have filled all of the cracks she should've said so before taking the job. I ENDED UP RESEALING MY DRIVEWAY MYSELF :(
