The carpet was much brighter when done and most of the stains were gone, a couple were just really lightened. We had a tough carpet to work with to begin with. He did an unbelievable job, I was very happy with the outcome.

He worked very hard because there were some blemishes on the carpet that were difficult to remove. He thought it would only take a hour and a half but it took about three hours. He would not leave till it looked its best. He did an outstanding job. He was on time for both the appointment and the work. I would use him again in the future.

When I called to get 3 rooms cleaned the owner answered the phone, made an appt right away (for the next week). The owner does the cleaning as well. He showed up exactly on time, was done in 40 minutes. This was a great experience and I will be calling Northeast the next time I need work done.

Everything was very good. Used a groupon discount. They were prompt and did a good job.

Joe at Northeast Carpet Cleaning has been my go-to guy for area rug cleaning. For the last few years since moving into a new home, I have been buying used orientals, 13 or 14 at last count. Joe has cleaned every one of them and done a super job. Some were purchased at auctions and estate sales, and a few of those were very dirty. Some were not stored properly and smelled musty. Joe cleaned them all and did a great job. His service is top-notch; he picks up and delivers which is invaluable when dealing with a heavy bulky rug. They are delivered to my garage, clean and dry and wrapped in plastic. I would definitely recommend his services, and will definitely use him again soon.

We felt the cleaning was done well. Our only concern was the length of time the carpets took to dry which was overnight.We should have put fans around to hasten the process.

Technician worked very h****** very old and dirty carpeting. My husband was thrilled with the outcome.

Joe did a fantastic job cleaning our carpets and sofa. This was the second time we had used North East for these services; we had used North East a year ago as well. On both occasions, Joe scheduled us right away and showed up on time. He was friendly and polite. The work he did was good, especially on the sofas. The results on the carpet cleaning were much better on this most recent visit, which Joe had told us to expect since the previous visit was the first time we had the carpets cleaned since they had been installed several years ago. We had thought we'd have to replace them because of how stained they were, but now they look quite good and there are no visible stains and an even tone. The sectional cleaning worked wonders. There are no odors or stains in the couch, despite several milk-based drinks being spilled on them by our toddlers. Their prices are not as competitive as I would like. However, we trust them and know they will do a good job and not damage our home or furniture. Also because they are a family-owned business and the owner has always done the work himself, we feel like we know who is in our home. A larger company may offer deeper discounts, but with that comes a minimum wage employee who isn't invested in the job. Overall we are very happy with North East and would use them again. *** Update May 2013- We used Joe again to clean our sectional after a toddler disaster and Joe made it look new after our 3 year old made it look like a crime scene. I wanted to update my review because before I had stated that I felt North East's prices weren't as competitive. However, Joe gave me an amazing price for cleaning the sectional and when I recently price shopped for having the carpets cleaned in the new house we're buying, North East had the best deal. Not only are they the most affordable right now, they also do the best job. I will absolutely be using them for all our future business.

Cleaning rugs. Called national chain cleaners whose price seemed reasonable but when I asked questions from their representative I received ambiguous answers. Joe, from Northeast Carpet Cleaners, was very knowledgeable and appeared to be extremely competent. I decided to give them a try. The entire task was performed quickly and very satisfactory. I was very pleased with the entire experience. I was especially pleased in the fact that they took extra care to make sure that the entire area was clean and everything placed back were they belong.

From the initial estimate to the finished product Joe was courteous, prompt, professional. I have used other carpet cleaning companies before and will never use anybody but Northeast. Other companies did not seem like they cared about how the job came out. They just wanted my money and off to the next job. That's where Northeast really shines. Northeast gives you the feeling that they care about your carpet and they take pride in their work. I would feel good about recommending them to anyone.

They did a fair job, but I thought they could have gotten the carpets a bit cleaner. I also thought that they could have done a better job with the chair.

My dog somehow cut his paw during the night. When I got up, in the morning, there were blood stains all around my bed on my white carpet. I called Joe of Northeast Carpet Cleaning and he was here within a couple of hours. He was very courteous and professional, and he did a great job. No more blood (and other) stains. It went very smoothly. The workman arrived and inspeted the house to determine how to proceed. He then began at one end of the house and worked his way through the upper level. I requested additional vents be done and he readily complied. There was no dirt or debris to deal with and all the vents were replaced before he left.

It want quickly and well. Joe and his crew made a very difficult experience easier to handle and their promptness & experience saved us from a lot of potential damage.

I was introduced to this company by a Groupon advertising air duct and carpet cleaning at a reduced price. Needing air duct cleaning, I purchased the deal for 12 ducts for one price. I called the company after purchasing the Groupon to schedule an appointment and was politely informed that there would be an upcharge for additional ducts, should we have more than the 12 and agree to having the additional work done. I agreed to the additional work on the phone and settled on a date for the service. The owner/technician arrived on time in his company-marked vehicle and walked through the house first to count all supply and return ducts. With the count completed he then told me the price of the final service, should we want all the ducts cleaned. This was a good gesture because had I not wanted the extra service I could have declined before the work was performed. Sometimes companies have been known to slip extra services into a deal such as this without upfront disclosure, but that was not the case here. All work, which consisted of vacuuming out each duct separately using a truck-based vacuum system, was completed in about an hour. I was happy with the work and would use this company again.
