"It's unfortunate that Ms [Member Name Removed] feels this way. We have had several conversations regarding her many concerns and I responded to her every time she contacted me. The inspection was not lengthy because I was only directed to inspect the basement and not the whole house (as per their request). She did receive a visual inspection on her report. The mold that was found by the remediation company was in an area that was closed off to me, because she had an open garage filled with moving people and the door that lead to that area needed to remain closed. I mentioned the toxic molds that showed up in the highest count and the toxic mold that is the most potent out of all other molds which proved that she had compromised air quality that it was at an unsafe level. It was not necessary to an other toxic mold because it made no difference to the outcome of the findings or the way the remediation would be handled. As far as the activity in her home I only saw moving people on the main level of her home not in the basement. Now if she had taken a few moments of he time to spend with me during the inspection maybe she could have let me know more of what was going on in the home. However she never spent anytime with me during the inspection. I spoke with her remediation company regarding her concerns and he stated that he never said any of the things she has mentioned and that the report was valid and complete. When I confronted her about the fact that he hadn't said any of the things she told me, she was obviously annoyed that she had been caught in a lie. Ultimately I believe she wanted a bigger discount on the post testing then I was willing to give her so she got angry and wrote this review."
"Most of Ms [Member Name Removed] complaint is about her dissatisfaction with the job preformed by the restoration company. It is unfortunate that she is not pleased with their work. However that is not my fault. My role as Mold Assessor is to determine if the remediation was done correctly to remove the mold contamination and return to the addressed areas to safe levels for airborne molds. She told me not give the restoration company the written report and I did not. I had a verbal conversation with the remediation company about the lab results and what areas I tested in the residence that had failed and passed so he could prepare to address any further issues that needed to be addressed. My reason for doing this is because that is part of my role as the Mold Assessor and because I was sent a copy of a letter from Ms [Member Name Removed]s lawyer to the remediation company stating that ("she requests that you complete all portions of the contracted work"). I received several phone calls, messages and emails from Ms [Member Name Removed] during and after I did the inspection for her and I have responded to all of them. Maybe not as fast as she wanted, but she is not my only client. I even responded when she was irate, cursing and name calling about the restoration company and to me."
severe rainstorm in August. Michelle was very prompt, showing up on time and professional and friendly. She explained everything she was doing and welcomed any and all questions that my husband and I had. Upon her completion of air samples and inspection, she told us it would take a few days before the results would return from the lab and she would forward that to us via email, which she did. Upon completion of my remediation per her protocol, I had her return to do a post testing and inspection.
And those test results were again emailed to me promptly. Michelle is a true professional who definitely knows her job. I felt so comfortable having her in my home and felt free to ask her any questions. Before leaving my home for the post testing, she told me to call her for anyting, anytime. Anyone who needs a Home Inspection for testing of air or toxic mold, do no hesitate to call Michelle Ferguson from Blue Sky Inpsections, Inc.

"A mold inspection was performed for this client on April 9, 2013. The mold in the attic that the client has mentioned in his review was discovered by a restoration contractor in October of 2013 (over five months later), due to an ongoing roof leak. Additionally the customer had been previously informed of roof issues in April of 2013 that he chose to ignore. Blue Sky Inspections cannot be held responsible for mold growth that occurred more than 5 months later due to neglect from the home owner. Mold can literally grow within 24 to 48 hours if conditions are favorable. Additionally during our post inspection of the residence we discovered an area of visible mold growth that was missed during the remediation. Our goal is to thoroughly inspect properties to determine the severity of the issue and to find the most cost effective way to resolve it for our customers."
