I recently purchased a couch with two reclining seats, a recliner, and a chair and a half all matching. Upon delivery in October 2012, it was noticed that the mechanism in the recliner was not level. The delivery people took the chair back to Lynch furniture and three weeks later delivered a new chair. All was good. The chair and a half is an extra piece of furniture. As company increased towards the holidays, everyone who used the chair and a half noticed that the seat cushion and lower back cushion separate when someone sits in the chair (a 2-3 inch gap) and when someone reclines the chair there is a 6-8 inch gap. You can reach right out the back of the chair. This does not happen with the regular recliner or couch recliners. It seems like the back lower cushion does not have a firm enough fill to it. I could put a bolster pillow behind the lower cushion but this is a brand new chair and I shouldn't have to do this. and gt; We tried the chair out at Lynch's at time of purchase but it was a leather chair so I didn't notice the gap or lack of firmness in the lumbar cushion. I called John Lynch in the beginning of December. He came out to look at the chair and told me he would be in contact. He never called back. I called on Saturday Jan 12 and he told me he didn't have an answer for me and he would be back to me in a few minutes. That did not happen. I called on Wed Jan 16th and he told me there was nothing he could do. That is the way the chair is made. I asked him why he took so long to respond. He said he didn't like to deliver bad news. I then contacted the manufacturer and they told me all issues had to be handled by the dealer. The customer service rep told me she and gt;was unable to look at a similar chair to know if mine was made correctly. She did give me the number of the Lane Technician that handles western NY. He did not respond to my call. Overall, the purchase and the service for the rest of the furniture went well. The staff is very friendly and courteous. I should have been more careful on the initial inspection of the furniture. If I was not happy then I could have refused delivery. I like the chair and a half recliner and could fix the issue myself by adding more stuffing but I don't want to ruin the warranty if something should happen in the future. We now accomodate with extra pillows. What would have made me feel better about the experience--a quick response and an offer to fix the cushion.
Description of Work: The purchase of a recliner, a sofa, and a chair and a half recliner from Lynch Furniture in Canandaigua. The furniture was from the Hancock collection manufactured by Lane. Lynch also delivered the furniture.

Our experience at Lynch Furniture, Canadaguia, New York was very positive. Margie was very helpful, the order was placed right away, and delivered in good time. Our room wasn't ready when it arrived at the store, but there was no problem for them to hold on to it for a few weeks, until it was convenient for us to accept it. We are pleased with the furniture.
Description of Work: We were very pleased with the service we received from Margie Wall at Lynch Furniture. She was patient, and very helpful in providing us with choices. The furniture companies we delt with, did not provide material samples at the store, but, Margie was able to obtain them for us in a timely manner.
