From day 1 Dave has been extremely responsive and professional. Within a week of my first call he was out to give me an estimate. No more than 2 weeks from my first call were they at my house starting the work. His crew was very friendly and professional. There was a spot that needed repair after they finished work, so I called Dave back and the next morning his crew was back at the house fixing the floor. All the work is complete now and it looks beautiful. They did a fantastic job and highly recommend them.

The team was hired to refinish an existing pegged oak floor. The sanding job was very neat and they paid a lot attention to making sure the dust was minimal. They even captured their dust in plastic bags and put it out at the street to be pick up on collection day. The staining work was very even and had great color consistency. The team was very polite, attentive and dedicated to their work. They gave me a very high quality refinishing job and covered details that we hadn't discussed. They left me home on the second day with a completed job and my pet sheltie decided he wanted to survey the job while the finish was still wet. Needless to say, I called Dave and shared my concern only looking for advice on how I'd best remove the evidence. He told me not worry about it, that they'd come out at their earliest convenience and take care of for me. Well, he did just that. The guys showed up a couple of days later, resanded the entire surface lightly and reapplied yet another coat the entire floor. The did this all at no charge to me. Wow! I call that customer service. I would definitely use them for new installations, refinishing or repairs...Good Job.

I had five areas refinished in total. They came when they were scheduled to be there, worked quickly and efficiently. The work was done professionally; the process was clean. They were also very pleasant to me and to my family. I am especially happy with the wonderful finish on the floors. They look like new. It was a positive experience and I would recommend them without reservation.

I have family who have used Advantage Hardwood and Dave came highly recommended. Everything went as planned - removal of old carpet and installation of new floors. It was a small 800 sq ft condo but they did an excellent job.

They have a dust free floor refinishing system. The gentleman that came to give me the quote was very professional and knowledgeable. He came on time. I definitely felt like they would have done good work. I decided not to refinish our floors now but I would consider them when I do the work. They were about $300 more expensive than a company that a friend recommended.

We would recommend them to others. They were prompt and they gave us a quote and they started working when they told us they would. They made sure that we were happy with what the product ended up being and answered a lot of questions to figure out exactly what we needed. They worked with us very well. We are planning on using them again.

We had a raised platform under the bed area that we wanted removed so that the floor would be level. Also, got rid of the old carpet. The removal was done a couple of weeks before the installation of the hardwood floors because I wanted the room painted as well. The crew showed up on time ripped out the carpet and the platform and that was when we found out the drywall did not go down all the way to the baseboard. Someone went to the local hardware store and bought a piece of drywall. the cut it and attached it to the wall to fill in the gaps. They also had to fix the baseboard and add missing sections. The heating vents were put through the platform and they had to be cut down so that they were flush to the floor. They removed all debris and cleaned up after themselves. Two weeks later, they came back and in three days, layed down the unfinished new floor, put down stain samples for me to choose from, then the sanded, stained and varnished the floors. They certainly went the distance, they even procured wooden vents, stained and varnished them to match the floor. The room looks fabulous!

When the carpet came out and the sanding was completed we had several damaged areas that required replacement of the wood. On Dave's recommendation his guys removed some boards from the kitchen which we intended to tile and patched them into the bad areas. Because we used existing material of the same age the patches match the rest of the flooring perfectly. Dave was very reasonable and the extra charges for the floor repairs were very fair. A few minor things were not perfect. A few carpet staples were left in the stairs and some of the shoe molding needed more attention. We brought this up with Dave and it was handled right away. He was very responsive to our questions and concerns.

They did a great job. Dave showed up on time for the estimate, was very professional and courteous. He answered all our questions and suggested options, explained all the process and materials that would be used. We called to schedule the work and it was only a 2 week wait. Two workers showed up on time for two days in a row, and left our house very clean, they bundled the carpet and put the debris outside so that it would be easy to put out for garbage day. They used water-based finishes so there was no smell and we could move our furniture in the next day. We are very pleased with the results and intend to use them again for our other rooms. We have gotten many compliments about the floor. Dave also checked in with us after the job was done to make sure we were happy with the results. Very professional.
