Description of Work: Painted the foundation of my house

Description of Work: They only came for three hours They changed the deal on the hours because they came with two men. I suspect they had planned this from the beginning. They fixed many items in the three hours. The one major issues to fix a closet was not done well and the other major issue to fix the sliding door closet they were unable to do at all. I have to find someone else to do it.

Description of Work: No contractor is perfect, but these guys do their very best at every turn. They care about doing it right. I absolutely would recommend them for almost any home repair.

Description of Work: Sheetrocked bathroom ceiling. Did good job, as promised. The guys left in a rush without cleaning up at the end of the appointed time, but the boss sent them back to sweep up. Used for subsequent job, more expensive, but did a fair job.

Description of Work: They did minor household repairs -- installed a light and a shelf, fixed doorknobs. When they came, they were very pleasant to work with -- polite and neat and punctual. However, we had terrible scheduling problems. The dispatcher did not seem to communicate with the guys in the field. Twice, someone showed up when I had specifically said I was not available. Another day, I waited all day long and no one came. This all had to do with miscommunications, not negligence. But I was floored, as I was in touch by email all the time (there are 47 emails in the thread!). Also, the shelf was crooked when first put in. When I pointed this out, the workman came back quickly and fixed it. In the course of all this, I learned that they were really a contracting company, used to doing large jobs, like renovating kitchens. Minor repairs are really not their focus at all. I would not use them for jobs like this again -- it's just too much hassle.

Description of Work: I used the 40 hour general contractor deal to have my old marble kitchen countertop removed and to have all of the wood trim in two rooms stained. While there was an initial scheduling misunderstanding, once it was cleared up all timelines were adhered to and the team was punctual. While I have no complaints regarding removing the countertop, the stain work I needed was of sub-par quality after day one. After speaking with Viktor, he listened to my concerns and addressed them and made the appropriate corrections. What his team started after that discussion was done very well. What was already started was completed satisfactorily, but was not as good as the rest of the job. I really appreciate Viktor's responsiveness and willingness to get involved when asked.

Description of Work: Build Now NYC is an excellent contractor. He repaired and replaced parts of |a wooden front porch. The work was promptly done and he fulfilled everything |he promised to do. I would recommend this contractor.

Description of Work: It went very well. At first I was a little leery because the two workers didn't speak English. However, the contractor appeared promptly with them every morning and he was also available by cell so when a problem arose he took care of it immediately. As contractor experiences go it was primo.

Description of Work: I did not end up using this contractor for my remodel. But he was very professional when we did meet with him.

Description of Work: He installed 3 light fixtures, blinds, tv wall mount and wall shelf. They were very professional and I was very satisfied with their service. I definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: I was going to hire him to do some work in my bathroom, basically replacing the broken knob to the tub diverter (tub/shower). I had been to a number of major plumbing supply places to try and find it with no luck. Another handyman said I would have to replace the whole body for ~$500! When I called Build Now NYC, he listened, I sent him pics and he told me how to remove the needed part to find the proper replacement. With this I was able to find and order one. At no charge! I totally appreciated him taking the time to return my calls and walk me through it. He seemed quite professional and a nice guy. I would definitely use him for repairs in my apt.

Description of Work: Skim coated and repaired a wall in office -- excellent work. Victor made sure that it was correctly done before he said it was complete -- very satisfied with his work and the outcome

Description of Work: The service provider was a great listener on the phone. He came out to provide an estimate. He had a vision on how to complete the project and he didn't seem very receptive to my ideas.
