I purchased 3 Hours of Drywall or Plaster Repair through one of the Angie deals. It was a misunderstanding between the company and myself. They thought they were going to be patching holes, but i needed drywall seams joined. They did complete the job. I would use them again for a small job because they were very courteous.

Owner, Victor gave instructions to 2 workers. When he came to pick up left equipment, he noticed that the living room ceiling was not done correctly --The repair to the ceiling did not take into account that it was textured, so the fix looked worse than the original disrepair. Before I could notice this, he left word that the ceiling was going to be redone (no charge), which he did. I was very impressed with Victor's professionalism and honesty. He is also very easy to talk to and I felt comfortable asking his advice about other projects I had in mind.

Viktor was very professional, easy to communicate with, on time and responsive. Good at explaining why things weren't working, and how he could and couldn't fix things. Gave me a reasonable rate for painting a room as a follow up service, which one of his guys did. They did a fine job. A couple of the things that were fixed on the day weren't entirely accurate, however, hence the B for quality. I'd give A- or B+ if those were an option.

Ray recognized that this was very special, delicate work - and had an expert wood carver to carry this out. He found a piece of wood that was perfect to insert, and the carving work was so exactly and sensitively done that I can no longer tell which chair - one of a set of six - was repaired! Ray came to my home in Manhattan from New Jersey to pick up the chair, as well as a sample chair to match, then brought the chairs back when the work was done, 2 1/2 weeks later, as promised. He was extremely responsive, staying in touch by phone and text and email throughout this process, and even emailed photos to me to show me various stages in the repair/carving work. I was very pleased and will certainly hire him again..

I made an appointment to have them come out last Friday, and even took time off work. They were over 1 hour late, then the person they sent didn’t have tools.

There were 2 men...very courteous and attentive.

I tried to contact him twice, the first time I contacted him he said he would get right back to me. Then I called him again after not hearing from him for awhile, and he never got back to me. I ended up having to refund my deal I purchased. I can't judge on his quality of work, but being unresponsive is not good business.

Good deal overall, but probably not 6 hours worth of labor. That said, he came back when I had trouble with the doorbell that turned out to be mechanical and did not charge for the visit. I would use him again.

He was tremendous, was neat, worked quickly, but efficiently and completed the job beyond my expectations!

First, and foremost, Victor is truly professional. He is always accessible,impeccably courteous, and, most importantly, he has genuine integrity. He will be upfront and honest about every aspect of the work, including the budget. This company deserves absolute trust, which is essential when you're making financial arrangements with, and committing your home to, people you don't know. Secondly, he's a great partner with whom to oversee the whole project. He doesn't just execute: he provides experienced, creative and tasteful insights over every aspect of the work (for example, what type of closet door would make sense for a given space, or what kind of grout would stand the best against given conditions). He doesn't impose any ideas, and he never pushes anything simply to charge more, but he provides precious advice every step of the way. Finally, the work itself has been impeccable. Victor's team is highly accomplished, very reliable, and very pleasant. He brings his own, fully-licensed plumber and architect, in addition to the rest of the crew, so you can rest assured that everything will be monitored by a single team. Everyone I met was hardworking, polite, and truly good at his job! The proof is in the quality of the work that was done. I can't wait to recommend this company to anyone who comes my way. Just give him a call and see what happens!

The experience began well, starting with the initial phone call in which Victor had me go through the tasks I wanted performed and made useful suggestions about what I needed. We had a followup call the day before the appointment. I had done a big deal for 6 "man hours" of services and Andrew (Victor's brother) and another worker arrived promptly, worked diligently, and did even a little more than was asked. They were pleasant, professional and very good. They clearly explained any issues. For instance, for the track lighting fixture I wanted to replace, I had ordered the wrong fixture and Andrew showed me the difference. They kept me in the loop on the tasks that had "decorative" aspects, hanging a quilt and a mirror, and I was very satisfied with the result. Overall, I was very pleased and definitely got more than my money's worth. The question above asks "would I use this provider in the future," to which the answer is clearly "yes," but more importantly, I know I will use them again in the near future, shortly after I get the right light fixture.

Excellently. Provider came on time and did a meticulous job on a very messy ceiling surface. Plaster had been breaking and falling for a year. Roof was finally fixed and this provider from Build Now NYC did an excellent job in replastering the ceiling. Came on time, fully prepared. Even finished job early (before the 3 hour limit), and offered to finish remainder of time repairing any other plaster surface that needed fixing. I am very happy to have engaged this contractor and hope to use him in the future.

They were very professional and completed the job without adding any additional cost for materials or anything, even though the deal I purchased through Angie's list suggested we would have to pay more for that. We ended up getting some estimates on other work we wanted done in the apartment and plan to use them again for additional jobs (repairing a wall, and replacing a beam and molding damaged by water).

They did a beautiful bathroom renovation with floor heat. In addition Victor helped us with a design of our living room that was also renovated. Service was just great. I highly recommend Build Now NYC due to the fact that the guys are professionals.

I was looking for someone to repair a window box after I finally found a competent roofer to repair my roof and stop the leak. After calling many contractors on Angies, and either having my calls not returned or appointments broken, out of desperation I took advantage of an Angie's special for 6 hours of contracting (seemed about right for the size of the job). Viktor, the proprietor, contacted me right away, and was able to do the initial work within a week. I was very impressed with his professionalism and him and his assistant. He communicated very well to make sure he understood exactly the job, and they cleaned up every day when they were done. Since I needed some paintings and I was so impressed, I rehired him immediately to do the painting. They did a great job. They masked off the moulding and there was no paint slopping over the edges, etc. etc. I finally found a reliable and reasonably prices contractor for my interior work. Yay!

I went over the project and sent them pictures before they came over but they still arrived unprepared-- for example: I told them I had 11-12 ft. ceilings and they didn't bring a ladder. They rushed through the job which resulted in sloppy work. When I began discussing everything I would like for them to do, they ensured me they would get everything done in the allotted time but several things went unfinished and I didn't feel I got what I paid for.

My first impression of Victor was "Oh tres chic!". He's a very stylish handyman :) More importantly, Victor and Igor were responsive, punctual, professional and efficient. They took care of everything I had on my list very quickly. This Angie's List Deal was a excellent purchase and I would definitely use Build Now NYC again.

The contractor purchased the baseboards for me, removed the old baseboards, installed new ones cut to size, painted them and cleaned up despite the fact the water was off in my building and they had little to clean with. He fixed three chairs with screws. Small job for them but a big for me. I would definetlly use them again.

We bought our first house 2 years ago. Before we did it, we asked realtors advised us the asbestos inspectors to checked the building. After they did this, they found the asbestos in pipe coating in the basement (the house was built in 1930), but it was not dangerous, as they told us, because the insulation was not damaged, so we decided to remove it later. Every time I've done something in the basement, I realized that it should be removed as soon as possible. I asked my friends who have had this experience, who knows how to remove it. All advised me not to do it myself, so I tried to find a contractor for that job. I called to some local guys, but they asked for the removal too much (I was willing to pay for this work 18,000, but my sister gave me the Victor's phone, after he visited my house, he gave me the price - it was amazing 10,000, but it was one condition that was acceptable for this money, I have to wait about 1 months before his crew could begin. They started on Friday morning and on Sunday work have been completed. They covered everything in basement in plastic, it looked like someone had camping inside me basement. Now we can sleep peacefully. Thanks you guys - would definately recommend.

Victor and Build NYC is an exceptional company, I got quotes from 3 licensed GC's before deciding to go with Build NYC. Not only because the price was the lowest but because of the personal attention that our family received. This company is not a company that just gets the job done and leaves and forgets about you. This company and its owners truly cared about their work and our home and the final results have shown it. Our home was recently purchased and needed a complete makeover. Build NYC not only came in with recommendations on what to do and how to do it but we feel that they put their heart and soul into our home and did not stop until we were happy with all the small little details that most other contractors would have left unnoticed. I have had bad experiences before with some GC's As the original qoute would change and the time lines would be extended, not with Build NYC. I can honestly say that they are an honest hardworking company that really care about their customers and the job they do. They did everything from hardwood floor, to all electrical, plumbing, roofing, tile work, alarm and many other small things that this page does not have room for. I have pictures of before and after if anyone is interested. We thank Victor and his team at Build NYC for creating our dream home. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to deal with an honest, extremely responsive and an overall GC that has great experience and cares about their work. Its hard to come by these days, as most other GC's just want to take your money and leave you with the headache later. Not the case here, me and my wife are shocked at the professionalism of this company even after the project is over they are still very much involved in anything we need or have questions about, and they do not penny and dime you, the quote you get is what you will pay, unless you obviously make changes or decide on upgrades after the job begins, as one would expect. I will never use anyone else again I hope this company gets the recognition that it deserves and other GC's should take example from this company of how business should be done in this industry. I contacted Build Now NYC to remodel my kitchen. The estimate was well within my budget and they were professional and friendly which really helped seal the deal for me. They did a wonderful job. I wish I would of known about this company sooner. I am extremely happy with the results. I recommended them to all my coworkers and family members. Great service and reasonable price!

Best description is - hassle free! Victor, provided us with free estimates of all work and after few contractors that quoted us he was the most reasonable. His company installed all new hardwood floors, renovated 2 bathrooms and redesigned our bedrooms. We loved their hi-tech approach. Most of over communication was done via sms and email and we bothered contractor Victor even on weekends with our crazy ideas and if it could be done. Their designer contacted us short after contract was signed, and we were asked all the details what we would like to have been done in our penthouse. We were very pleased how professionally everything was done, definitely recommend.
