Though we accepted the proposal in the fall of 2011, work was not begun until March, 2012. The major factor in the postponement was fear that winter temperatures might interrupt or be detrimental. All permits were secured in anticipation, however, and once it was clear that the weather would not be a factor, work began and was completed within a month. The team was skilled, hardworking and thoughtful.

I can't praise this contractor highly enough. Many contractors shy away from working with coops - particularly small coops in a brownstone neighborhood. They were responsive to our many questions and worked with us in detailing the nature of the work and the specific materials that would be used. When the agreement was ultimately signed, they set a date and arrived promptly with their small team of workers who clearly knew what they were doing. They mounted a scaffold ever so carefully in protecting the ground floor garden and arbor. These were experienced workers who each day cleared and/or cleaned the area in preparation for the following day. Each day, the owner/manager of the firm spoke to us at the end of the day about what was accomplished that day, any changes that needed to be made and what still needed to be done. They were highly professional and very responsive to our questions all throughout. Within approximately a week's time (give or take rain dates), they were able to complete this work. While the price may seem high for some, our coop required a company that was fully licensed and insured for this work. The professionalism that this firm demonstrated made the cost of this work seem well worth it. Of course, only time will tell how this work holds up under the elements. We were assured that if any problem emerges, they would address it. Given how this firm performed to date, we enthusiastically give them a thumbs up for their professionalism and quality of their work.

Never bother to return my call/messages. If they don't want the job at least call and let me know

We called them a couple of times and then they gave us the quote. The quote was kind of an odd quote and we called them back but they were very hard to get in touch with. I don't think they were very professional. I wanted to get some brick cleaning done, that's what I wanted the estimate for. I would not use them in the future.

The proprietor came to my home on 10/27/2012 and inspected the home for estimate but could not provide an estimate after 3 calls from me to ask when I could expect his estimate. He had a different reason for not sending estimate each time. I have not heard again from him to date.

They did a good job for me. It was a good experience. Weather was a factor as they had work in stages as they had to apply the material to the sides. They started when they said they would. They came when they were expected. When they were delayed I was aware of it as the material needed to be dried. They answered the questions. If something had to be done, they did it. They cleaned the property and had to access it in order to do the work. I had no problems and no complains. They took care to protect the bushes and shrubs. When they finished, they cleaned up with no problems in the property. I was allowed my choice of color and they finished the work. They were cheaper than some of the other people. Their estimate was fair. They were responsive in terms of questions and other things. I would use them in the future.

They did want to take on the job because it was too small but they were very nice.

They were okay, but the only issue was that, I had to call them several times to come for an estimate and then I had to again call them several times for a quote to be sent. They didn’t seem punctual at all, but they came on time when an appointment was scheduled. They were professional, knowledgeable and up to date. I will not use them in future.

Not well. I guess they didn't want the job, so they never contacted us.

They were very responsive. They gave us a quote within 24 hours after assessing the situation. It was for about $5500. They were very detailed and very professional. It was very good.

They came and gave us a written estimate. Told us they would do the work in a month, and that it would take about a month. They were spot on regarding both. They recommended some additional work to protect the now finished stoop from moisture that was coming through the basement. We took their recommendation, and glad we did.

They responded to the e-mail right away, though they took a couple of days about the estimate. I had to contact them for that. They were professional. The gentleman was nice; he came and detailed everything he was going to do. I don’t have anything negative about them. As for overall experience I had to actually contact them and find out what the estimate was. He was very professional when he actually did come. I will consider getting a quote from this company in the future.

MR. AMIN AND HIS SON ARRIVED AT 9 A.M. WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEIR CREW WORKED QUIETLY AND NEATLY FOR NEARLY THREE DAYS. THEY WERE VERY TIDY AND CAREFUL. THE ONE CUTTING BRICKS WORE A MASK. THEY DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB.

They said that they were going to give me a quote but they never got back to me. They came twice: the son came but he said he couldn’t handle it so his father and another guy came. My experience was not pleasant at all. The first guy was friendly but the second guy was chauvinist and they insulted me. They didn’t think that I knew anything about construction, which I do, and he talked to me in a condescending manner. They came when they said they would come, but I will not use them again.

They came out. They were very nice, but I felt that their estimate was very high. They were very good. They didn’t charge me anything. I thought they were very professional. At first, there were two young men who came out. Later on, the father came with another man and he was the one who really looked it over and gave me the estimate. He e-mailed it to me. They were responsive. They came when they said they were going to come. They did give me an estimate when they said they would. So, they were punctual. They did what they said they were going to do. I don’t know if I would consider using them in the future because they are very expensive. So, I would look for someone who is more reasonable. However, I would consider using them for an estimate and I would use them if the estimate is in the ballpark. I wouldn’t have any problems using them.

Two men came and they were on time, but they seemed relatively unprepared; they didn’t have books to show me examples of what they could do. They told me they would get back to me but they never did.

They did not respond back to me and it's been two weeks.

They were very good. The work was done professionally and they really go the extra mile. They got a little paint on the bottom of the building and painted the area for free. Clean up was always complete and well done. They pointed out issues and asked questions before they proceeded.

I woud recommend this company to anyone who wanted masonary work.

The company responded quickly when I first call after finding them on Angie's list. they send me an estimate a few days later, I agreed to the amount and we set a work start day which was a month away. They emailed me the week before to confirm they would be starting on Monday, they showed up on time, worked very neatly and did a wonderful job. They completed the job in three days and worked in the crazy New York heat wave. I think they did a great job, I think the price was in line with other estimates that we received, and it was a great experience. I would recommend them without reservations.

They did great work and solved the problem that we had. They are just nice guys. It’s like a father and son team. They are really honest and they are good guys. They did a good job. They did what they said they were going to do. They were quick. They were a little bit expensive but they did the job. So it was fine. I would use their services again in the future.

They did a fine job. They seemed to be a completely respectable company to use. They weren't able to do all of the stuff that I wanted to be done. It was a little out of their scope. It was a bigger job than what the company usually does. I saw that they had a pretty good reputation on Angie's List. They showed up exactly when they said they would. He gave me a very detailed estimate on what they would do.

They came out within a week of my calling, but they did not provide an estimate. There were several things that I was interested in doing. There was one specific job that I really wanted done, but it could not be done.

They were fine. They were right in ballpark with everybody else. I still haven't ruled them out doing the work and I may still have them do it. I might use them in the future.

The workmen did excellent work, were careful, neat, polite and thorough. There was some confusion about the scope of work for the fee agreed to, but they fulfilled my understanding of what was to be done without charging more. I would suggest that one be very clear at the contract signing exactly what work is to be done. There was also some concern about misplaced checks in their office, and after I gave them the check numbers, they were found. They are honest and good workers, polite and reliable and I would certainly use them again.
