Mariano was great. He was very accommodating to our tight schedule. Did a thorough inspection and explained everything to us. The results of the test came back on time, and he made himself available to discuss the results that same day. Great experience all around.

Used the services of A Tech Mold Inspectors to check for mold due to leaks in roof that was creating a moisture problem. Mariano was prompt and called the next day to set up appointment and arrived on time. He thoroughly tested each room for moisture and also provided air quality samples for inside and outside of complex. It took three days for lab results and Mariano promptly emailed results and called to explain the lab report. I would not hesitate to use his services again.

We were very happy with the job done. Mariano was easy to work with and thorough in his inspection. In fact, the area that we thought was a problem was fine, but he found another area that needed remediation. He was able to recommend multiple companies to do the removal and he even came by to see the job they were doing.

A-Tech did an interior mold air test in my basement and provided me with a detailed email report of the test results -- showing the exterior mold spore levels (control) compared to levels inside my apartment. Mariano was super helpful in answering any questions I had, and gave me peace of mind around the safety of the air in my unit. Mariano, the owner of the company, went above and beyond to assist my family in our exhausting endeavor to determine if there was a mold infestation within our home. He spent over 4 hours in our home collecting samples, assessing moisture levels in each room, and examining air quality samples both within the home and outside of the home. He took the time to explain each implemented procedure with specific details. He was very informative and patient throughout the process. When the home assessment was completed, his results were compiled into a comprehensive report that provided the following: identified mold types, the severity of the mold presence, the subsequent effects to exposure, and the mandatory methods needed to resolve these issues. He was readily available for questions, and would respond very quickly to all of my questions and concerns. These mold issues, unfortunately, led my family to pursue litigious processes as there was gross negligence exposed. Everything went very well, and Mariano recommended a couple of products we could buy to clean up any mold around the tub in the bathroom, which he said was not dangerous, as well as the kinds/color of mold to look for that might be toxic. About a week or so later he came in person to deliver the lab report, as well as a "refund" check for the amount of a small discount for seniors which was not included when Angie's List charged my credit card. I was astounded -- it was just so nice to deal with such a quality professional who is so conscientious. I felt reassured and confident that he was a person I could rely on. I would most assuredly recommend him to any friends, relatives, or neighbors who have need of mold detection and/or abatement.

Mariano is very professional, responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. He's competitive on his price and was willing to match prices from other mold inspection companies we received. He was on time the day of our appointment and gave a thorough explanation of what he was doing, as well as advice on how we should get rid of the mold in our house. He only does mold inspections so there is no conflict of interest. A mold report along with protocol outline was sent to us after the inspection. He called us up to explain the reports to us in detail of what type of mold we have and the protocol outline of what the mold remediation should do to remediate. He was also nice enough to look through estimates we receive from third party mold remediators to let us know if the price was reasonable. We're planning on booking him again to re-test our air after the mold remediation to ensure the mold is gone. We would highly recommend him!

I was pleasantly surprised that they adapted to my schedule and not only did they did a stellar job, I saved $75 to $125 compared to other mold inspection companies. If you want a good quality mold inspection and save a few dollars as well, give A-Tech a try. They met my expectations.

Outstanding service, would not call anyone except Mariano for any mold questions. He was able to fit us in the same day, was extremely professional and responsive, actually listened to us and our questions, was very respectful--even offered to take his shoes off in our house when he saw that we do. Most importantly, he knows his trade. He was able to get us the air quality results right away and called us immediately to explain the report. He helped us understand what was in the air, the risks, and how we could prevent mold from building up in the future. Mr. Daniello was professional, pleasant and knowledgeable regarding mold testing. He was punctual for both testing appointments. ?Excellent? A-Tech (Mariano) was so professional and honest, well-spoken and on time. He explained everything, in terms that I could understand, most men see a woman and they see $$$. What I was quoted was the amount I paid which also included the coupon. One of the reasons that I chose him was that at the end of our first phone conversation. He said and I quote, ?even if you decided to hire someone else, call me if you don't understand something or have any questions, I?ll be glad to help you in any way that I can. The other reason was that out of the other companies I spoke with, He was the only one that did not require a deposit for Remediation. All the other companies only gave me quotes that included remediation, which means they are expecting to do the remediation, or you lose the deposit. And it also means they can charge for stuff you don?t need. If you?re looking for professional, and, honest, then go with A-Tech, I?m glad I did.

I had a washing machine hose break which resulted in water in my basement. I was so nervous about mold that I called Mariano D'Aniello of A-Tech. A-Tech was recommended on Angie's List and because of the excellent reviews, I decided to call for information and an appointment. I spoke with Mr. D'Aniello, the owner, spent time on the phone answering my questions and explaining what the testing was going to entail. He also spent time explaining about mold and what he would be looking for. He didn't rush me to set up an appointment but made me feel that it was very important that I understood his services. After we spoke for awhile I decided to have him do the testing. Mr. D'Aniello came on time the day of the appointment, proceeded to do the mold testing and explained which areas would be of concern. He took samples of what he needed and told me it would be about a week before he had the results and he would call to go over them with me. Well a week later, I had the results and Mr. D'Aniello called. Thankfully, the report came out very good but he still stayed on the phone to carefully go over what was tested and what the results were. Again, he didn't rush and told me if I thought of any other questions, to please call. I would recommend A-Tech highly. I felt that Mr. D'Aniello cares about his clients and takes time with them to make sure they understand the process and the results. If I ever needed an inspection again, I would not hesitate to use his services or to recommend them to anybody else.

Mariano D'Aniello called back within two hours, set up an appointment quickly and showed up on time. He listened to my issues and then went to work. It was a three step process--inspecting the walls, taking air samples (and a direct swab of visible mold which I requested he take) and two air samples. He was very patient in his explanations, noting what my next steps should be if the results were positive for excessive mold. He inspected the outside perimeter of the house and noted where there could be a possible water seepage problem. The results were forwarded to me by email as promised, and he called to discuss.He followed up twice with phone calls to see how I was doing with remediation, and will keep in touch until the work is completed. I couldn't have asked for better or more personal service.

They only test for mold and they do not do mold remediation. Also, when I received the bill for the service I called the company because I was over charged. They did fix that for me after I called. He said it was a conflict of interest to get a company that tests for mold and remediates. I will probably call them back to have them come test again after the remediation. I was happy with their service.

We have had moisture and mold issues for a long time. We came across different inspectors that could not match up to Atech. He is very professional and caring about his customers. He first answered all my questions and explained the inspection process over the phone. He showed up on time and really took his time explaining every part of the inspection with me and my manager. He uses state of the art equipment and really takes his time. He addressed all of our questions and concerns and spent over 2 hours in our establishment.. The lab results and written report were delivered back to us in 3 days. He followed up to go over the results and set up an action plan. THIS GUY KNOWS HIS STUFF! This is a company that you can trust and I would defiantly recommend!!

The mold inspection by Mariano was excellent. He was professional, kind and considerate. He listened to our concerns before beginning the inspection and explained everything he was going to do during it. For the inspection, he did air-testing and infrared examination throughout our apartment, and he also examined some common areas where we thought there might be mold. He came to our apartment after 6pm, which was awesome given our work schedules, and even more so considering the NYC traffic he had to deal with at that time. His report came as expected, and he followed-up to ensure that we understood it completely. Amazing man and company. Mariano is absolutely wonderful to deal with. He really went the extra mile for me too. My house was a victim of Sandy and we recently signed a lease with a new tenant who was paranoid about mold. Even though we had just about a clean bill of health, my tenant was still nervous about mold, and he offered to speak with my tenant to reassure him. He took the time to even write a letter explaining the mold testing, and stating that our basement was safe, that I could show to my tenant. He told me what measures to take to avoid future problems too. This man is totally honest, caring and ethical, in an age where few companies are. He even explained the mold business to me, telling me to watch out for these remediation companies where if they find any mold at all they are tearing down walls and charging you thousands. He called me when he arrived, and explained what he was doing, and then called me after, and also called to me discuss the results. Very responsive to my questions and he invited me to call him if I thought of any other questions. I called him several time and he was always courteous and helpful. He was terrific! Highly recommend. On the phone making the appointment he spent time explaining what he would do and wouldn't do. They were very thorough with a hand held device to check for moisture. He checked all the cracks in the basement, he checked the first floor apartment and he was very pleased. he took the testing in outside and also he took the testing in the first floor and he took a mold testing in the first floor and he said that will go to the lab and he did send me the results and the levels very excellent. I liked that he was very professional and his price was very good I loved the device that he used and how he presented himself. He was very punctual, on time very clean looking and he came through and did what he supposed to do very quickly.
