My son was having difficulty w/ car - sluggish - difficulty starting @ times - Able to identify problem & fix - owner Frank always provides explanation of what was done.

For std. oil change I wait. Went very quickly. Have been going to Venturi for years. Very dependable.

I found them on Angie’s List. They are good and I like them. I go to them all the time. I think he is very honest. The workers are very honest.

Found problem, stated price, crack in pipe of cataleptic converter assembly, three other places didn't go further past code to find the problem. Frank and Peter are a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent experience.  Discussed problem on the phone and made an appointment.  Work done and the system thoroughly checked.  Working fine now.

Great work, great communication: Frank told me exactly what was needed, called with precise cost of parts and estimate for labor time before proceeding, and had my car back to me promptly. Very pleased to have found an auto mechanic I can rely on.

I have been going to Venturi Automotive for approx ten years. I have been there 20 times & every time the work was done perfectly.

 

When I brought it to them, they couldn?t find the leak. I took it home and put cardboard and found the leak. I took my car back and they did not charge me to fix it. They treat me so well and I am forever grateful by them. They are just the best will never take my vehicle anywhere else. I would highly recommend them.

They are extremely honest and their recommendations for service are always right on target. I have dealt with mechanics whose approach was to replace parts one after the other until the problem went away. Not Venturi. They research problems thoroughly until they are certain they know the solution. I have never been disappointed.

This wasn't my first visit to Venturi; I've gone there intermittently over many years, and they've always fixed problems no one else acknowledged, much less attempted to fix.  I've officially lived in Massachusetts since 1965 but this is the best service station I've found anywhere (including the famous bright Cambridge public radio brother team!).  This was my father's favorite after his first visit and the owner, Frank, still remembers both my parents well, though my Dad passed away in 1998 and Mom followed in 2010.  
Yesterday's emergency was that the circular grip for my oil dipstick broke off over a month ago while I was in New Hampshire and I haven't been able to get (or assess my need for) oil or find anyone at the 15+ service stations (in NH, MA, CT, NJ and NY) I visited since it happened willing to even try to dislodge the lower part that was stuck in the tube.  This includes the local Long Island Chrysler dealer/service dept - where I was told (when I went there yesterday to pick up the dip stick I'd ordered the day before because I was promised that someone would remove the stuck piece yesterday) their first opening is November 30th - in 10 days - and I'd have to leave the car with them all day.  I am about to drive to NJ for Thanksgiving, then back here to NY, then home to Cambridge next week and knew I couldn't wait that long for oil.  
Fine automobile mechanics are artists.  The work sometimes requires a rare degree of invention.  Frank worked carefully and gently to avoid further damage to my car, realized that drilling into the rubber piece (which was what the dealer's service department said they'd do) would only push the stick in further and after three very different methods he devised, he was able to get the stick out in about 45 minutes and then gave me a discount in honor/memory of my Dad.  
Frank and his son, Peter, run the best family service shop anywhere.  We're selling my parents' home next week, but I can easily imagine driving 4-5 hours to consult them should I encounter automotive mysteries in the future.  They're great.

I only take my car to Peter at Venturi Automotive. He's great at figuring out issues with my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Last year, I had a bizarre issue where the car kept stalling at a moments notice. After weeks of trouble shooting, he managed to solve the problem. His tenacity and honesty is the BEST in the business. And I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of due to my lack of car knowledge. Great shop!

My Toyota dealer provides FREE synthetic oil changes. Frank and Pete are so good that I would rather pay then go to the dealer!
