I was happy with their services. They did an excellent job and cleaned up well. They were very professional and came when they said they would. They did a good job and their prices were fair.

They were very responsive. They sent someone down to look at the hot water heater that was leaking. They were going to replace it. We ended up talking with them and ended up deciding to go with the tank-less heater. They sent someone else down to talk to us who was specialized in the tank-less water heaters. They didn’t charge us for coming down the first time to do the regular tank once we decided to go to the tank-less. They came and installed it. It took about 8 hours to do the work; there was a lot of work involved. They did a good job. We were happy with them and would use them again.

When another heating company wanted to replace our furnace for $7000 we asked Crisafulli Bros for a second opinion. They sent out an estimator to price new equipment and the first thing he told us is that all the furnace needed was a good cleaning. They sent a tech the next day, spent many hours disassembling and cleaning the furnace, and its been running great ever sense. Crisifulli could have quoted us a new furnace but they were honest about what we needed and didn't oversell. I recommend them highly.

John, the technician, called before he came and arrived promptly. He appeared friendly and knowledgeable and went right to work. He immediately found a problem left behind by the previous technician (from a different company) and made sure that it was corrected before continuing onto the routine seasonal maintenance. John did a thorough checkup of the system and made sure that it was functioning correctly before finalizing the paperwork. He was probably there for over an hour, skilled and methodical in his work. I was very pleased with the results and would most definitely use Crisafulli Brothers again.

The service technician who came out seemed frustrated to be looking at a wall furnace rather than a central heating unit. He took the fan off of the furnace, screwed a bolt into the housing and charged us over $200 for this "repair." He told my husband that he didn't know how long the bolt would last and that we should just replace the entire gas furnace for $1,500-$2,500. Within a day or two, the unit began making the same noise and we looked up the repair manual for our unit. We removed the fan and noticed that the center hole in the fan had widened from years of use and that the fan was rotating in an elliptical rather than circular pattern and knocking against the fan housing, creating the loud noise. For $111 including shipping, we ordered a replacement fan and installed it ourselves. The noise is completely gone and we have a brand new fan. Crisafulli Brothers charged us twice as much money NOT to fix the problem as we spent fixing it properly, and seemed more interested in selling us a heating unit we didn't need than fixing the issue we hired them to address. If the service technician had taken just a little more time to accurately assess the problem with our furnace instead of screwing in a bolt and telling us to spend thousands of dollars unnecessarily, we would have probably ordered the replacement fan from his company and paid him to install it, and Crisafulli would have made more money. Instead, we got a very cursory repair that didn't hold more than 48 hours or actually fix the problem we had. Given this experience, we won't use Crisafulli Brothers again.

Overall I was very impressed with this company and I will use them again for plumbing and air conditioner maintenance also.

I called Crisafulli's on 3/6 re: a problem with water leaking under kitchen sink, as well as a running toilet issue. Dave was there to fix our problems the next day, right at the scheduled time. It turned out that the drains under our sink were in worse condition than anticipated, but he fixed everything and cleaned up well after his work. Toilet repair, by contrast, only took a couple of minutes to replace the valve. We have used Crisafulli's several times (as needed) for over 30 years, and definitely plan to continue to do so in the future. Extra perks: senior discount on parts, and they accept a full range of credit cards for payment, which is handy in sudden emergencies.

Plumber did not treat slow shower drrain or treat / ream out either of two sinks in house, but opened up sewer pipe in basement causing sewage to spill out and damage many items and flooring. Used electric snake to try to clear blockage and snake broke. Advised I would need my yard dug up to retrieve the snake. Left 2/14/11 with open sewer pipe in basement, standing sewage - was unable to use the house. Had to call to arrange another visit for 2/15/11. Plumber was able to retrieve snake but dripped sewage on carpets and floors betweem basement, first floor and in driveway. Appeared to be clear, however plumber did not run water in kitchen sink. Asked me to run water in shower, bath sink and toilet. Discovered later kitchen sink not draining. Plumber returned 2/16/11 to finish the job, but ended up opening another basement sewer pipe spewing more sewage in other areas of basememt including shelving loaded with items. The last thing the plumber did (recommended) was drilling a hole into a sewer connector and 'fill' the hole wth silicon. He felf I needed a pressure release for the future. Within 10 days, the silicon had opened up allowing air from the sewer line into the basement. I later had a reputable plumber replace the connector valve. Note: I paid for services on 2/14 and 2/16, however I do not feel I should have bee charged for 2/16 as this was plumber's mistake. Also, I felt intimidated and threatened with the possible $4,000 cost to dig up my front yard due to defective equipment that was later able to be retrieved. It seemed that if I had not challenged this early 2/15 - they would have happily come to dig when it was not necessary. In addition, I had the extra expense to replace the connector valve that did NOT need to be drilled intol. Of course, I was left with a horrible mess to clean up and my home owners insurance did not cover the cost to replace items and repair the damage. What a nightmare. Would NEVER recommend this company for plumbing work to anyone!

They are wonderful. I have recommended them. They are fabulous. I got my furnace in business in three days. I would use them in the future.

They said that the problem that I was having was my sump pump. My insurance company told me that the sump pump wasn't the problem. I do not have any issues any longer. They were very prompt. He wasn't very good at explaining things to me about what he was doing.

First, they set up a date and no one showed up in the window they gave me. I called and they said they would have to reschedule. When the tech finally did arrive he cleared the system of coolant and removed the unit. This took about 35 to 40 minutes. Because he hadn't cleared the system entirely, when he pulled the unit out it sprayed some of the remaining coolant on his shirt, so he went to his van and changed his shirt. He then took a phone call. After another 15 minutes he gives me the invoice with an hour and a half in labor charges. He had only been at the house an hour at this point, and when I asked him he explained that the service call starts when he is dispatched, not when he shows up. I paid the invoice and contacted Crisafulli's customer service folks to explain. One of the managers said he would look into it, but I didn't hear back from him. I later wrote back to specificially ask about the charges starting from time of dispatch and he again did not write back. I have a receipt from a service call from two years ago, and was charged the first hour rate of $125 for a call that lasted 55 minutes. So clearly this is a new policy. My understanding is that the high first hour rate for service calls is supposed to cover the additional cost of getting to the site. Given this most recent experience I'm planning to bring my business elsewhere. UPDATE: The folks in Customer Service got in touch with me (based on my comments here) and acknowledged that they had dropped the ball. They apologized and offered to refund the cost of service call. I've changed my Overall Score here to reflect the fact that I believe this experience was not typical and that I would in fact use Crisafulli again.

They keep you informed about the estimated time of arrival. Once they arrive they get the job done quickly and efficiently with a good attitude. Also since they charge for an hour minimum, I had them do other plumbing jobs to fill in the time.

As of now, we have not had the actual work done yet, but were very satisfied with the technician and their quick response.

service man came within two hours after my call. He went right to basement and started working . He did not check to make sure that my heat was working but I guess he might have known in some sort of way that my problem was ok. I had intened to ask a couple questions but he left so fast , after I paid him. I was just so happy to have heat again I did not know what was happening. Thank you for your help I was pleased with my service I was very nervous about not knowing who to call and be comfortable with in my house doing work.

I wasn't happy with this experience. I had used them in the past, and my previous experience was positive, but this time they couldn't do the task and did not resolve my problem.

The technician was friendly and professional. He called to make the appointment earlier. He explained the adjustment made in detail.

they were prompt and did a good job. they were probably in and out 1 1/2 hours.

There is no much to tell, my furnace needed to be inspected and serviced, I call the Crisafulli Bros, they came two days later, the furnace was inspected, one valve was changed, they emptied a surplus water container, everything was done cleanly. I will call them again next year because I was satisfied with the work and they seem clever and fast

Over the weekend one of the zones on my gas hot water heat was sticking open. The room (above the garage) was getting heat whenever one of the other 3 zones was on. The room got warmer than it should. I diagnosed a stuck zone valve. I called Crisafulli this morning (Jan 3) at 11am (they were closed yesterday except for emergencies). They said they could make a non-emergency call between 1PM and 5PM today. They quoted a a $125 hourly rate with a minimum charge of 1 hour. At 12:55 I got a call from the technician. He was having lunch nearby. I described the problem and gave him the part # for the zone motor. He said he had one in the truck. 5 minutes later he was here. He did some extensive trouble shooting, replaced the motor and fixed the problem. Labor $125, Part $140. I just looked and the Home Depot price for the motor is $100. But I still think they were fair. I watched him change it and I could do it next time if I have to. This was a different technician that the last time. Both of the technicians were outstanding and explained everything they were doing. Based on this and my other experience I am very impressed with their operation, from first contact with the office, pre-visit call from the tech and the work of the tech.

Very well. The installation was completed in about an hour. To date, the sump pump is performing well.

We were putting our house on the market and needed a bathtub faucet replaced which was tricky since the old one could be unscrewed but the new one being put on might have required accessing same from behind the wall through a VERY small access door in the back of our closet. Thankfully, it was easier than that so it didn't take long but given how quickly he was able to do it, he also cleaned out the semi-clogged and also regrouted several tiles that I had mentioned were my next project after he got the new faucet on, He went to the truck, got the grout and did it in about two minutes...all without being asked. He obviously felt badly that we had to pay a basic fee for what turned out to be easier than he or we had anticipated - but he didn't have to add those extras and did so anyway.

They always do a great job. They do excellent work. They always quote a good price. They are reliable and trustworthy. We will absolutely continue to use them.

Around 7PM my wife noticed that we had no heat. I checked the furnace and noticed a blinking red light. I called Crisfulli based on positive Angies List reviews. I reached a dispatcher who told me a technician would call back within an hour. About 30 minutes later I received a call from Patrick. I described the problem and he explained the possible solutions. He also told me the rates for an after hours/emergency call. He offered me an opportunity to call back in the morning and request normal service. I decided to pay for emergency service. Patrick arrived within 1 hour and within 2 minutes diagnosed the problem. Fortunately he had a replacement part on his van (the furnace is about 12 years old). He replaced it quickly and tested it. He was very professional and well informed. I also discussed alternatives if I want to replace the furnace in the next year or two. The total time from his initial call to finish was 1 hour 15 minutes. I feel the charge was very reasonable for an emergency call. Based on my experience, I will contact them when I am ready to replace my current furnace.

Very proficient technician, he listened carefully to what I told him. Then focused on the likely source of the problems and fixed it in about one hour. Ran several tests on system components, eliminating possibilities.
