about mid-morning noticed water heater was leaking. contacted Crisafulli Bros. and they took some info over the phone, about my heater, and came out a few hours later. installed new heater and removed the old one (hauled it away). This all took place on SUNDAY. Very prompt, courteous, and professional. I have had great experiences in the past when using them for heating and ac services. i will continue to use them exclusively.

The technicians showed up on time, put down drop cloths to protect the floors, knew exactly what they were doing and were very courteous and helpful, answered all my questions, and cleaned up afterwards. There was a small glitch in getting the paperwork for the rebate from the office, but it was immediately sent out when I called them. Very happy overall with the experience.

arrived earlier than expected, introductions, got right to work. cheched plumbing path, in cellar proceeded to point of backup.. tried to clear stoppage with hand rotary snake, unsuccessful. proceeded to uninatall toilet and in process pointed out to me many diffiencies with how it ws originally installed. once toilet was removed from its place tech brought in a large electric rotary line auger and set to work clearing the most likely place a clog/obstruction would occour. this process t ook about a1 /2 hour. when tech felt the drainline was clear, he retracted the equiptment and began to try to overwhelm the drainage with a volume of water, with no backup whatsoever. he hen re-installed the toilet, correctly, cleaned up the bathroom mess that had been made and presented me with an in depth explaination and the bill. the most striking feature of the tech was is quiet. demeanor and "get it done" attitude!

My husband and I came home late one Friday night to discover our home was a chilly 54 degrees F. With investigation we found that the pilot light on our boiler went out. After three failed attempts to light it ourselves we knew we needed help. With the temperature of our house approaching 50 degrees F we found that Crisafulli Bros. had 24/7 emergency service. So at approximately 1:00am we called and spoke with their answering service/dispatcher who took my information and said that the on-call person would be calling us. So my family of five crawled into one bed with a bunch of extra blankets to stay warm while waiting for the on-call person to call. No one did. Thankfully, we all stayed toasty cuddled in bed and at 7:30am I called and spoke with the SAME answering service/dispatcher who didn't seem to remember taking my information 6-hours prior. She once again told me the on-call person would call me. Thankfully, at 8:30am Joe K. called me. When Joe was very polite when I explained what was wrong and what we attempted to do to fix it. He went over rates and gave me an approximate schedule, stating he would call me when he was leaving for my home. He kept true to what he said. He called when he was on his way, arrived in good time (consumer pays for travel time to location), and was polite and considerate to me and respectful of my home. I directed him to our boiler in our basement and in no time at all it was fixed and I would already feel a difference in our home's temperature. His invoice kept true to his time and rates and we paid a reasonable price for one hour of labor and a thermocoupler. While I'm very satisfied with the service provided, I am still bothered that no one returned my initial call. While arguably in the end this wasn't an emergency for my family, if I had an infant or any small children in my home it would have been an urgent matter requiring more prompt attention - even in the middle of the night.

System failed to heat up house although blower did function. Called in the am and rep was kind and understanding. I have used this company before so she easily found my info in her records. I was scheduled for a time slot in the early afternoon and asked that the tech call before coming at least 15 mins. Later in the day the tech did call and asked if it was a good time to come and he said he would be there soon, that was a welcomed call because I was cold!! He arrived quickly and went straight to work. I had explained what happened the night before and work done previously. He quickly diagnosed the issue-a worn out part. He called the shop to get the price and see if they had it in stock bc he did not have it on his truck. He needed to then drive to Albany to get the part while I waited. He returned and got the part installed and check the system to make sure it worked. I think it actually works better than ever! I was able to find a coupon on AngiesList site but found a better one on the Company site that I was able to use to offset the cost.

On a Friday morning we woke up to find our hot water heater leaking at the connection from the cold water inlet pipe. It was entirely corroded due to a bad solder joint. The water heater was 8 years old and had a 6 year warranty. Unfortunately, guests were visiting for the weekend and we had only 8 hours before their arrival. My wife called around for quotes for about 2 hours. By 10:30 AM she had decided to go with Crisafulli, partially because of their positive local reputation, and also an Angie's list coupon was available. They arrived by 12:30 and completed their work very quickly and efficiently. The water heater has performed well so far. Their ability to installed the water heater on such short notice was much appreciated.

I originally scheduled a service of my 22 year old air conditioner. As I had feared, it was time to replace the entire unit. The technician was great. He coaxed the old one into working until the new unit arrived. Access to the rear of my house is limited, but they repaired the degradation on the pad and the installed the A/C unit in with what seemed to be ease. Everything was done as promised, each time the technician came he removed any trace that he had been there. The technician even followed up on his day off to address a part that had been out of stock. The price was in line with my expectation, and the work was performed for the amount quoted. I will be calling them when my furnace needs replaced, as it soon will.

Called early November, got the appointment late Nov. Not good. At least they showed up, but given the time between call and actual appointment, I would like to get the call a day before. I had to call to confirm. Furnace maintenance was OK. However, contrary to what the customer rep who took my call, the service crew didn't accept my coupon from Angie's list. Probably paid $120 (including tax) for the maintenance, this is outrageous price. Worked probably 20 minutes. And then he looked at the fireplace, which had broken blower fan. Took 20 minutes (which he included in his billing), and took it out, turns out that I have to replace it. So I asked him to bring it to his work, and see if how much it cost. A few days later, a call came, and they wanted $379 (before tax) + $30 (shipping) + $ install, so something like $500. Looked it over in internet, found the part at $100, came in two days, plugged in (helped from watching youtube video) and done. I could have (and should have) looked for the way to solve the problem by myself, but since I called for maintenance and he's going to be here anyway, I wanted to see if I can get it done without me doing any work. Bad idea. This co is okay, service crew was professional (and fast), but major problem is it is way way way expensive. If you can avoid, avoid using them. I only called this company because of three reasons 1. my other guy skipped my appointment two years in a row,2. how would be so different if I call anyone for furnace maintenance? Wrong, with this co, it is twice of what I paid (no wonder the other guy skipped the appointment) 3. This co was top of Angie's list search. They may be good at something, but not at price. Too expensive. With this top of the angie's list, I feel like betrayed.

Update 12/16/12 After my initial review on Angie's List, the sales person contacted me and gave me information to connect to the power company to try to get a rebate for the work that they performed. The power company told me the day I contacted them that it was the last day for getting the rebates and it had to be submitted within 60 days of the work being completed. I told the salesman that rebates were not going to be available and he said he would speak to his General Manager to see if something could be done. They called back within an hour and said the company would send me a check equivalent to the rebate from the power company ($560). If this had been taken care of in August, instead of December, I would have been happy to have this issue resolved at the time the service was provided. I am happy with the new furnace and will be happy to recommend of Crisafulli Bros. in the future. In the end, the resolved my issue.

.Like I said: Making an appt. was a snap, especially since we had to coordinate with the delivery folks. Dave was top-notch, quick to respond to questions and concerns. We had a new stove and a new commode put in, and he also looked over the faucets on two sinks that we're having trouble with. He was able to figure out what's wrong with the kitchen faucet, and didn't want to mess with the other because of its age and fear of cracking the porcelain on an antique bathroom sink, which wasn't a big surprise. He couldn't do much with the kitchen faucet because the name of the mfr. wore off, so replacing the part will be tough. Can't really comment on the cost, because we were more concerned with getting it done by a reputable outfit within the delivery schedule. Overall, we're happy with the service.

Service came right on time, removed old units and installed new ones in 2 days with 2 workers. Heating and A/C are working great. When I had a billing question it was resolved immediately and they helped me to fill out my National Grid rebate. I will be using them again for servicing my new units in the future.

Called Crisafulli Bros to make estimate appointment as advertised. Woman who answered suggested we have someone sent out on a serivce call for something like $90 just to drive out to our home, and then to work by the hour, but since we had quite a big job to do I insisted on an estimate first and made an appointment for a few days later. Dan Crisafulli arrived right on time, calling first when he was on his way. Very friendly, very professional and thorough, making sure he knew everything we wanted to have done and making suggestions on what to purchase. Gave me a written estimate, followed up by detailed contract by email within 24 hours. Accepted their offer, mailing in 1/3 deposit, then called to set up date for the work to be done, speaking with Amy Hoag. Although I had been told Dan would be coming out, on the appointed day a plumber named Nick came, which turned out to be fine. Nick was actually a few minutes early and set to work. Another gentleman joined him later in the day. We had purchased most of our own fixtures from Central Supply in Scotia for an additional $800+. You can get fixtures from Crisafulli as well. The two men worked very hard , keeping us informed of what they were doing every step of the way. They got the entire job completed in one day, cleaning up after themselves very nicely. Total bill was slightly higher than estimate due to some problems such as having to cut an extra access hole and replacing the tub pull up switch (Inot sure of the correct name for the fixture). I asked for financing for two months and Dan approved it, so I paid 1/2 the remaining total. The following day we noticed a few minor problems with the installation. After a little back and forth with Dan through Amy, Nick came back and made all the adjustments to our satisfaction, at no additional charge. We are very pleased with the work and very pleased with our new fixtures. Nick and his colleague were knowledgeable, professional, friendly and hard workers. I would hire Crisafulli Bros back in a heartbeat. I was so pleased I will probably use Crisafulli for our heating/AC needs as well. If you want to have a job done in this manner I suggest you always call and ask for Amy Hoag, not go through the operator or service department.

The technician was on time and diligently evaluated the problem. I had too much heat in one zone of my house (80+ degrees) and had it evaluated before by another company who couldn't fix it. He went through everything in a very organized fashoin and explained everything to me. He thought I needed a new thermostat but when he tested the old one he said I just wired it incorrectly and didn't need it replaced. Since the thermostat had been a problem he asked me to test the system for two weeks before he drained the pipes to repair it. He also checked out and ordered the part for the furnace in my garage. They were very upfront about pricing before I even made an appointment. I was very pleased and he is coming back to fix the garage furnace and clean and do maintenance on my boiler. I would highly recommend these people as I have dealt with other HVAC companies and was very dissatisfied.

Went very well. Service was prompt, friendly and the job was well done.

Crisafulli Bros is one of the most professional contractors I have ever dealt with and in my business I see a lot of them. The work they performed for me in Saratoga was excellent and their service attitude was terrific. The best compliment I can give these people is that I would gladly refer them to anyone that requres a professional and skilled Plumbing?AC contrator. They are competitive, do what they say they are going to do using quality equipment and finish the job on time. It doesn' get any better than that. Regards, Paul Judge

Very good sales/estimator - he provided info on National Grid's energy rebate, and Lennox rebate on first visit. He provided the final estimate later that same day via e-mail. Can't beat that service. Actual installation went especially well. Two days and the job was completed. Installers were professional, knowledgeable, and good humored throughout the job. Only thing missing was a stack test to provide actual efficiency of the new furnace.

The technicians came when they said they would, they placed runners over my carpets for protection, although my carpets are beyond help. They performed the installation over a two day period. I have my home office in my basement so there were lots of obstructions to deal with and they did. They finished the job on time and cleaned up. They showed my wife how to use the system and what maintenence items need to be addressed in the future.

It went well. They cut a couple good size branches off a maple tree and I did not know they were going to do that. I would have liked for them to tell me that needed to be done. The work, however, was done very well. The pricing is fair and they were here on time.

They were excellent. Mostly had a high price otherwise, the quality of their work fires away the price.

My sump pump hadn't triggered in a while, and the water was building up. I contacted Crisafulli because they had initially installed the sump pump. Dan came out the next day -- called ahead to tell me that he was on his way -- and discovered the switch was not working. He replaced the sump pump so quickly that I only had to leave work for an hour. He also adjusted the pipes, so they were more stable. Dan did a great job, and the $20 coupon from Angie's List was a nice bonus!

I have a relatively complicated combined heating and hot water system (based upon a high efficiency boiler) installed 25 years ago by another company. For the first 10 years, I had to have the system serviced at least 6 times per year. I then started using Crisafulli Brothers to service the system. After a few service calls, the Crisafulli technician took a closer look at the unit and determined that a part had been improperly installed when the unit was manufactured. Since then, the unit has required servicing only once every several years. I have since also used Crisafulli Brothers for my plumbing and AC needs also. My latest service call was occasioned by a bit of water on my basement floor. The Crisafulli technician arrived on time and fixed the problem (replaced a bladder). When we noticed no hot water the next day, the technician returned (at no cost) at the appointed time and resolved the problem (an air lock had developed in the system). I have never had a bad experience with this contractor.
