Work was done in a quality fashion. A request to have a small leak was responded to quickly by Crisafulli and was done correctly. I have had no problems since.

One the cold night of 12/30/2013, our furnace located in the attic stopped working. I called all around to get a technician over. Crisafulli was the first to show up. The technician spent 45 minutes in the house, told me the smart gas valved needed to be replaced, then handed me a bill of $190. Ten days later, on 1/9, the same technician showed up with the new valve. And sure enough, replacing the gas valve did not help. He said the sensor/ignitor needed to be replaced too. I raised the doubt that the gas valve didn't fail in the first place and that the problem was really the ignitor. But he brushed it off. I called his manager to ask about this technician's credential, who assured me he was very experienced. Anyway, a new ignitor and 3:30 hours later, the technician left with the heat running and a bill of $1000. Not long after he left, no heat again. So the next day, the same technician came. This time, he said, it was the exhaust pipe. He said he had to cut open the exhaust pipe to find blockage. I asked if he could seal properly after cutting. He said of course. Long story short, the heat was back again but we woke up the next morning finding water dripping down the fine moldings in the ceiling of our two story great room. On the floor was a fine oriental rug, a grand piano, and the wood floor. We had to use all the buckets we could find to keep water off the rug. This time another technician showed up. He found leakage where the previous technician cut the exhaust pipe. Another round of fixing and the leakage was, I was told, terminated. Stupid for me, I purchased their red carpet service agreement on their 3rd visit. SO While this 2nd technician was in the house, he performed "service" on my other two furnaces. It took him less than 25 minutes and I paid $400 for it! At this point, we already paid $1600 to Crisafulli and were left with a wide strip of yellow stain on the white ceiling of our great room. This is when I called my builder who brought in another heating company to investigate the furnace in the attic. Guess what, the attic was a mess. The cut off pieces were all left there. The insulation for the furnace was taken off and never put back (thank goodness the furnace didn't freeze). There was still minor LEAK at where they cut the exhaust pipe. The pipe was tilted at two locations due to lack of support. I also learned that the smart gas valve, which I waited for 10 days and costed me $600 might not be faulty to begin with! $1600, a messy attic, hours of agony, a bill from the painter to fix the water stain, a cleaning bill from the carpet dealer, and additional cost to repair the leak which was supposedly "fixed" by Crisafulli. This is the "service" I got from Crisafulli. A note: when we noticed the leak I was put in touch with a manager Matt at Crisafulli, who promised me to reimburse my painting and cleaning cost. I'm still waiting for estimate of both services but I welcome his gesture. I hope Crisafulli would also give me a full explanation of their "service", and the hefty cost associated with it.

I have had constant problems with water in the cellar so this is something I pay fast attention to. It turned out the switch was stuck and it was quickly "unstuck" by the plumber. He showed me what to do if it happens again. He also confirmed that the back-up system was working. He waited to make sure that all the water that had built up in the hole was going to drain out, which it did. He was very professional and clear in explaining things to me, including the fact that it's not the age of the sump pump but how often it goes off that determines how long it will last; mine goes off a lot. Crisafulli is not cheap, but I guess no plumber is these days. They are very responsive and I trust them. I have used them many times and will use no other.

Crisafulli was extremely accommodating and even supplied me with several space heaters for the 2 days it took to get the new system installed. I have always found this company to be highly professional and responsive. I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

The plumber and his assistant did quite a remarkable job,wasting no effort to make sure the job was first rate. I really was impressed, as it was an emergency.

Snaked main sewer line, replaced wax ring, water supply line, and reseated the toilet.

I called Crisafulli to address a leak in the heating system that was causing water to pool at the base of the furnace. The tech came and noticed a leak in the pipe that vented furnace exhaust to the outside of the house. He said it was leaking because the pipe was not at the proper pitch (should have been angled but was level). Crisafulli had originally installed the system in 2009 and the installers had obviously not done it properly. The tech repaired the pipe to create the proper pitch, and then handed me a bill for $200. I refused since the unit came with a 5-year parts and labor warranty. The tech left, however the next day I noticed that water was still pooling at the base of the furnace. I called Crisafulli and the tech returned, however he could not locate the source of the leak. He recommended I replace the condensation pump, despite the fact that it seemed to be working and the pool of water was nowhere near it. I declined and was then handed a bill for $300 (previous repair and the service call for that day) and was told that my warranty was void since I had not used Crisafulli for my annual cleanings. I was subsequently able to identify the source of the leak which was as a result of a missing hose clamp inside the unit - something the tech missed despite examining the unit twice. I'm very disappointed with the poor job Crisafulli did installing the unit, and their unwillingness to stand behind their warranty agreement.

We interviewed 6 different firms and selected Crissifulli Brothers. They were not the least expensive, but somewhere in the middle. The gentleman who provided the estimate was extremely knowlegable and patient in answering all of our questions. The crew that did the install arrived on time and treated our home with respect. We asked about the senior's discount noted on Angie's, and received an upgraded air exchanger (variable speed) and two electronic thermostats (for our furnace) that included setbacks at no additional charge. The install went without a hitch and everything worked as planned. The salesman even came back shortly after the install to walk us through using the thermostat, let us now about expected maintenance, how to close the system for the winter, etc. We were really impressed with the quality and professionalism of everyone associated with Crissifulli, and would work with them again in the future without hesitation.

We have the grinder pump to permit flushing waste water from our master bath while maintaining full headroom in our cellar. Originally, the pump/tank was located in a crawl space which was relatively inaccessible. We had Crisafulli move the pump/tank to a spot in our main cellar where it was more accessible. This also permitted installation of a basic sink in the basement next to the tank/pump. Most of the job involved rerouting and installing PVC pipe to ensure proper flow of water and venting of the entire section of our waste water system. Before the work began we decided on the best location of the tank/pump and routing of the pipes to accomplish the job with minimal intrusion on floor use and access to sections of the cellar. A crew of two completed the two tasks in about 6 hours. Everything worked fine. The next day the pump failed. They came back promptly when I called, opened the tank, and found an old wash cloth jammed in the pump. Once this was removed, everything worked fine and has ever since. (The wash cloth had been flushed down the toilet by mistake months earlier.) There was no additional charge for this visit. I am very pleased with the work done on this project.

Contacted company by e-mail through Angie's List requesting them to come see what was needed and then provide a price. Recieved a responce to call the office which I did. This contractor said if they come out it is a service call charged at $100 for teh first hour, etc. The business model appears to be trust us we'll give you a good price so there is no need to get an idea of what the job is or what it might cost you.

During quote period, sales person was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. After installation there were some problems and it required several calls and there was a delay in getting a response. Installers did a good job.

Technician arrived slightly late and was here for about an hour. He introduced himself and indicated what he was going to do. He then proceeded with his tasks and cleaned up completely afterward.

Install was fine but how hard is it to replace a water heater. A tenant called this plumbing company because the water heater started leaking and he didn't have hot water. The tenant didn't call me unfortunately and Crisafulli did the replacement. Now, as an experienced landlord and handyman, I have replaced several water heaters and it's no harder than changing a light bulb. When Crisafulli called me for payment they wanted about $1200.00 because it was a weekend. I told them I hadn't ordered it and I would pay cost for the heater and $100 for the labor. Needless to say, they didn't agree to my offer.

Crisafulli's put the tank in on Tuesday and made sure everything was working properly. I came home on Saturday to find a new water maker in place. The work area was clean and my wife and I are happy to know in a crisis, we can count on Crisafulli Bros.

He had a lot of trouble removing the old pipe because of the improper way it was originally installed. Once that was solved the installation of the new pipe went smooth & all we have to do now is repair the kitchen ceiling.

Great. He explained the problem, talked with us about plumbing issues in Clifton Park and fixed the pipe in good time at a reasonable price.

They started promptly on the date promised. First job went perfectly. Installed easily, and worked perfectly. Sales person was right on with his choices and the procedure. They started the second job, promptly and did the combination furnace (boiler) and tankless water heater first. Had it installed so that the tenants had water, but the furnace did not function. That was on a Friday, when they got that far. Did not return Monday, Did not Return Tuesday. I called and found that there was an issue with the power hookup of the boiler. They would get back to it asap when parts came in. In the meantime they were doing other jobs and now I wasn't going to get worked on again until they finished their other jobs. This prompted my wife to write (Email) to Andrea Russo, to complain. She returned the Email right away and promised that they would get the job done ASAP. Another week of waiting went by and no show. Finally the parts came in and the issue was resolved. Now the second part of the job was to have begun; the installation of the central air conditioning. They started, and had to install lines and vents through the crawl space/attic. They did this, but in the interim stepped through the ceiling in the living room and hall. After a week, they left, the air conditioning wasn't hooked up. No word, just left. I now started calling the Sales Rep to get some answers. He would get back to me. Two days went by and no word, prompting another call. Seems the installers couldn't hook the wiring up to the power panel in the asement w/o some extra work. It took two further days to get that resolved and they finished the installation. It didn't work! Now they had to come back and find the problem. They would call an hour before they wanted to come. I had to try and make arrangements with the tenants to be there. Suddenly the tenants were leaving on vacation, and so I needed to be there. I called them Crisafulli Bros.and said frankly, that they now had to work on my schedule, as we were into the second month of the installation. Finally it was finished and the everything was installed, working and was beautiful in the installation. Now the reparation of the ceilings had to take place. Two weeks went by before they had the matching ceiling tiles. They did the repairs, but left the painting of the ceiling unfinished (one coat on, but needed a second coat to cover the patch. Finally job finished! Hooray! Now, I wait for final Invoice to pay bill. Two weeks after job is finished, my tenants called to say that the air conditioning is not working. I called Crisafulli Bros. and they said there was nothing they could do because my account was not paid, so I was a delinquent account. I hit the roof, telling them that this was the last straw. I had never been given the final Invoice, and they had better make this right or I would have to take legal action. They apologized and said it would be rectified immediately and a technician would be there soon. Finally, everything was working, but several weeks went by and numerous phone calls to get the final invoice. Finally, Invoice came and was paid on August 7th. I am glad to be done with them, and hope not to have any more trouble calls.

On 12/26/2012 Tech came to house and diagnosed the problem with the furnace, Service call was $135.00. He ordered the part and returned on 12/31/2012 and put new part in and also charged for a service call. Both calls took no more than 1 hr. total.

Prompt, work performed in time promised. Workers friendly, clean.

They were great. They did an excellent job, they were very professional and it was great. They were a lot cheaper than other companies were.

We are always happy with their work. They are very good and punctual. One of the reasons we use them is that when we call them, sometimes they can be there the same day. They are not cheap.

I've been using them for probably 10 years. They are very good, even if it's an emergency or off hours, you can get a hold of somebody. They've always been very thorough when they are here. So I appreciate that. I started using them because the company I used prior to them did not have a 24 hour service. I ran into a major problem on an off hour, so I looked for somebody that had 24 hour service. I've been very satisfied with them. They always call before they come.
