Heavy Duty Concrete and Pavers

Heavy Duty Concrete and Pavers is a great company to hire. My driveway was cracked and lifting. After a few estimates, Sean came to give me my last one. He answered all my questions, measured and gave me a reasonable quote. He became my â go-toâ guy. The crew came the following week and did a great job. They were professional and very efficient. Iâ m so glad I found this company and anyone would be happy with them.

They were on time, cost effective and finished a large Paver project in 3.5 days. The only reason why i gave 4 stars on the quality is it appears that either they had run out of the Paver blocks To build a retaining wall and used a large rock and some concrete to build the last step from our patio to our yard.

The preparation work was done properly. Overall, the concrete work was very good, but a few spots could have had a better finish (concrete retaining wall surface was not completely textured). The pads had to be perfectly level and not sloped for structures, and this was done correctly. The only concern is the less than consistent communications with the project coordinator. It took several calls to their office manager to get the project leader to either contact me or set up the workers for my site. There was also a delay from finishing the prep work and the start of pouring because another job had priority over mine. The job took longer than planned, and the crew had to work late into one evening to finish the installation. Clean up was performed the next day. Overall, I am satisfied with the work, and the price was reasonable.

It has been a week or more since they were here. After pulling the forms, they stacked the forms against the side of the house where they remain. Typically they left refuse including water bottles, nails for the forms, cut off pieces of wood, etc. around the work area. When they showed up at the worksite, there was one worker plus the concrete truck driver and I then helped spread the concrete as the worker wheelbarrowed it from the truck to the site, using my own shovel. Eventually, more helpers arrived and they continued using my shovel which I continuously washed with a hose to keep it clean and not have dried cement adhere to it. Overall the workers were polite and professional in their work. I am still finding form nails in the DG and rocks around the work area a week later. The final product looks great, although I will likely use another contractor or do it my self. I can purchase a mixer and all the products I need to complete another 200 feet of sidewalk pour that I will be doing and it will cost less than what I paid for this 10 feet by 10 feet pour. To top it off, the workers dumped the excess cement across the street on a vacant lot awaiting new home construction in a new development. And no, I would likely not use this contractor again.

If l ever need or want concrete work done again l will for sure call them. Finished product was great and the clean up after finished was awesome

The company is very busy need to give them time to put you on the schedule. Minimum for a small job is 1600.00. Very friendly. And not afraid to call you if there is a problem.

Walkway turned out very nice. Workers did a very professional job. No complaints here!

The project is about 90% complete today and we are very pleased with the hard work and dedication of these workers, working hard throughout these smoky conditions.

Don't waste your time getting a quote like I did. Watched the guy drive past my place turn around and fly past site. Tried flagging him down but was in to much of a hurry to see me.

Had two workers. Did not speak English. Tossed their empty water bottles on the ground. It looked like one of them urinated by my apple tree. The starting date kept being delayed. The retaining wall looks good but the ground around it I feel is unsatisfactory. They shoveled the dirt back into place but it is not smoothed out. It is full of large dirt clods. No curb appeal. The wall is missing to blocks. Theirs suppose to come back finish it.

Our Drive way is absolutely beautiful and so much more functional now. The workmanship is top notch. No cutting of corners. We are very happy and highly reccomend Heavy Duty for your paver project. The entire staff at Heavy Duty was professional and friendly from start to finish. Victor who set the tone with a no nonsense estimate. Denise who was kind and understanding and really helped us through the contract process. Highly skilled and experienced laborers were on site, on time and very hardworking every day. They kept the job site clean, and worked quickly and efficiently. And finally, Israel the owner of the company, took time out of his day multiple times to oversee the project. We are thankful that he was willing to work with us and our neighbor to resolve an old stump issue and keep peace in the neighborhood.

I loved the fact they fixed things and didn't just pour my concrete. They made sure everything was ready my sewer cleanout, my downspout, my wiring, and my sprinkler systems. Each guy acted like it was their home and they wanted it perfect. I appreciated that. I can't say enough good things about this company. The whole experience was great from the owner, the office, and the workers. They're terrific! Thank you so much for a great job!!!!!
