Deuce's Pool Service

We recently bought a home with a small pool in Las Vegas. The valve system was confusing and we are inexperienced. Brian was the 2nd pool person we called and he was a godsend. He adjusted and explained our valve system to me. Brian advised us that our pool was small enough that we did not need him to vacuum and we only needed him for weekly chemical checks and overall advice as we move forward. He also explained about a bottom vacuum need, and procured us a very high quality vacuum at a near wholesale price...I priced others to check. He services us weekly, at the same time and on-time each week. His advice has been extremely helpful in our maintaining a wonderful pool experience. I recommend him to all.

I can tell you that with my experience with him his A+ rating is well-deserved. When I described the problem to him he knew immediately what the problem was. It was the pump, it was severely clogged with grass, dog fur, dirt, etc. The pump was cleaned out and in practically no time the pool vac was again gliding smoothly around the pool's bottom cleaning the debris from the recent windy days. Brian is efficient, knowledgeable, professional, personable, honest, and reasonable. As a retired person living on a fixed income I have to say that I was relieved at the reasonable cost of his service. I would strongly recommend him, without reservations. He made my day. He is great!!!!!

Brian comes to my house every Tuesday morning and he does an outstanding job. Both the pool and spa look and more importantly feel great! He has always answered our questions and obviously takes a great deal of pride in his work and his business.

Excellent - I placed a call to Brian on Saturday and he returned the call the same day. He arranged the work for the following Tuesday and was there on time. Due to the age of my system, he wasn't able to locate the right parts. He called me, explained the situation and offered a great solution. He kept me informed at all times on the progress and status of work. Top Notch Service! I will use Brian again in the fall for a drain and acid wash and some other maintenance items on my pool.

The quote was accurate and the service was on time. I think he is very perfessional. And he shwed me how to use my pool.

He comes out once a month and I pay him on a monthly basis. He uses chemicals, he skims the pool, and he vacuums it. He is honest. He is professional and the work is good. That's why I have him every month.

We were very impressed with his service. He wound up being able to diagnose the filter issue we were having and was pretty quick about it. All was true that I read about him. He was on time dependable and his prices were reasonable. He was very friendly and helpful. The guy that contacted him ended up working with him directly and was also impressed with Brian?s knowledge. He worked for an hour on the filter, helped reassemble it and it is working great now. We have no complaints and would highly recommend him again. We spent $125 on this job.

After some not-very-comprehensive training from the company who did my pool installation, I tried to maintain my pool on my own for about three years and paid a pool maintenance guy just to come and clean the filters every few months. I never felt comfortable working with the pool equipment and always feared I might do something that would cause irreparable damage. Also, I could never seem to get the chemicals balanced properly no matter what I did, so I finally gave up. As winter turned to spring last year, my pool started to turn a slight tinge of green. I left messages for my pool guy but never heard back from him; he had somehow disappeared. In just a few days, my pool went from being a little green to so clouded with algae that I could no longer see through the water at all. After looking through the Yellow Pages and getting overwhelmed at the hundreds of listings, I signed up for Angie's List hoping to narrow down the choices. I called Brian in May of 2009 because his reviews were good and he was in close proximity to my house. He offered to come over that very same day but since I had to leave for work, we scheduled an appointment for the next morning. He showed up on time, assessed the situation, and poured chemicals into the pool right away. He came by a couple of days later to check on the progress of the cleanup and added more chemicals. Within a few days, my pool was crystal clear again and I ended up hiring Brian to do weekly maintenance. My pool also has solar heating and at some point, one of the PVC pipes up on my roof had developed a small leak and water was dripping down the side of my house. Brian offered to climb up a ladder to the roof to determine the source of the leak, after which he said he could fix it if needed. Since the leak wasn't that bad, I decided to leave it alone. However, after a few months, the leak (and my water bill) got progressively worse and I ended up asking Brian to repair it. He did it for a reasonable price, including parts and materials (I'm certain it would've cost much more had I called a pool plumbing contractor), and the pipe has not leaked since. Brian has been maintaining my pool for almost a year now and I am very satisfied with his work. He is reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional, and just a nice guy in general. He returns calls and/or text messages promptly, and never seems bothered to answer as many questions as you have. I no longer have to go to the Home Depot and lug home jugs of chlorine, muriatic acid, or chlorinating tablets. I never worry about my pool or the equipment at all anymore. In this day and age where I've come to be surprised to receive good customer care anywhere I go, Brian provides a level of personalized service that exceeds all expectations.

He seems pretty knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it quickly as well.

We made an appointment for him to come and put in new motor. Brian was here when he said he would be, put in the new motor, tested out the filter, tested pool water, set all the timers. I tell everyone I know who has pools about Brian and his services. He is fair, honest and prompt. I will definitely use Brian when the need arises again.

He never misses scheduled maintenance. Whenever I have a question, he either answers his phone or calls back promptly.

Brian always answers his phone or calls right back. He is honest and explains things in a way that is not condescending yet easy to understand if you are not mechanically inclined (like me). Also, he came out again when I thought that the hot tub was leaking and didn't charge us...the problem was that we did not tighten the basket gasket the last time we cleaned the pool! Our fault completely, but he was very nice about it. In fact, we have never had a monthly pool service before, but now are hiring Brian as he is so honest, thorough and professional.

We were very, very impressed with his professionalism. Definately will use his service and will tell all my neighbors about Brian. Brian taught us many beneficial items regarding our pool and maintenance.

Brian showed up on time and did a wonderful job and taught me plenty. He knows what he's talking about and he gave me a very fair price. I would definitely recommend him to anybody.

I would recommend him to anyone. Knowing that this was not going to be a permenant job it took it on anyway at a fair price. Now I think I will keep him full time as it has really helped me.

Brian was able to a to determine problems with my pool filtration system on the first appointment, my old pool guy had it wrong which would have cost me $$ in replacements I didn?t need. I?ve been very pleased with the weekly service since I hired Brian in the spring. Happy I found his pool service on Angie?s List.

So far, so good. I found Brian to be punctual and personable. He explained what he felt was going on with my pool and how he would correct it; then he went right to work in a professional manner. I could tell he knew what he was doing. At this point I'm very pleased because my pool looks great and I found Brian easy to work with.

Brian was exceptional, chemical washed the pool and spa, replaced the pool filter, and quoted me a price for monthly maintenance. two days later the filter pump went and I had brian replace it. The new motor went bad the next day due to manufacturers fault. Brian was there a day later with a new motor. He has been available almost instantly when called and will take the time to explain how to fix a problem. I have hired him for my monthly maintenance and highly recommend his services. He's also very personable and patient with novice such as myself.

I had just fired my longtime pool cleaning person. The work he was not performing caused a number of problems . My pool was a mess becuase of shoddy performance by my ex-pool guy. We had just returned from a 1 week's vacation to find our pool an ugly shade of green. The pool guy that I fired had maliciously messed up the pool machinery. We were in a real bind, and needed immediate help. Thanks to Angie's List we found Brian Canfield. I left a voice mail for Brian and within 30 minutes he called me back. Brian is very busy, yet he was kind enough to make time for me the very next morning. He showed up promptly along with his fantastic associate Val. Both gentlemen were real experts and exceptionally nice people as well. The spent a great deal of time fixing the problems. They were absolutely fantastic in all respects. I happily contracted to use their monthly service. I was lucky to find them and really lucky to have Angie's List as my resource. I can't say enough good things about Brian.... I wholeheartedly recommend Brian and his associate Val. Great people ! You won't find better ...

Pretty much what I described and I liked him right away. Very nice, cheerful, and a hard working man. I liked him right away and felt very comfortable and safe with him.

Brian had a little trouble with the plumbing, as expected, but he completed it in a reasonable amount of time and was still cheerful throughout the process. I really like working with him.

Brian is very responsive and professional. Once I thought I had an issue with the pool, and I called him about it. Wihin a few hours he had come by my home and addressed the issue. My pool has never looked so great!

Called Brian on a Saturday morning as our spa was overfilling. He came over by noon and had our problem fixed. The overflow lines from the spa to the pool were plugged with leaves and debris. He also cleaned the pool filters and checked the operation of our pump. We were so pleased with his work, we hired him to clean and maintain our pool weekly. We've tried other pool service companies in the past, but have never had good luck.
