Deuce's Pool Service

Although the fix was when we were coming into winter so I havent been able to use the pool much, it isn't a worry anymore and always looks great. Not ever embarassed when friends come over and go out back to a green pool! The only downfall is that Brian is a Bears fan, and I am a Packer fan. :) Other than that, this company is awesome!

All in all Brian had everything working properly and better than in years fater than anyone else even wanted to send anyone out to look. I am positive that if any furture pool problems arise I will call Brian first. I also will not hesitate to recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Responded quickly to get me a price for pool maintenance. Needed some repairs and was willing to break the cost into a couple of payments. Wonderful service.

He came out assessed the problem, stayed within our budget, listened to what we wanted. He cleaned up after the installation and things have been running smoothly

Brian showed up promply and went right to work assessing the leak. Once found, he had it changed quickly and then tested all the equipment. He also tested the pool water then asked if I had any other pool questions since I'm a new pool owner (re-sale home). He didn't seem in a hurry to leave and answered every question I had. I'll definitely be calling Brian again if I need any pool repairs. The other portion of his business is regular pool care with his other employees. Five thumbs up!

I called Brian strictly from the reviews on Angie's List and boy, did I make the right choice. He checked over the pool, pumps, cutoffs and tried to explain the workings to me and my wife. We want to take care of the pool outselves and he explained in detail what needed to be done, when he could do it and how much it would cost. We set up a date for Dec to clean the pool and install a robot to help maintain the pool. More later.

have been using this company for approximately a year now, and my sister now uses him as well. I found him on Angies list. This has got to be the most honest, dependable and qualified person I have ever come across in dealing with contractors for ANY type of home service. I have retained the service monthly, but have required a couple of repairs. One was expensive, the other, more recent, was when our pool pump quit working. I expected to pay a minimum of 450.00, and frankly would never have known the difference. I am unemployed currently, and this repair was not in my budget. Brian came back and told me that it was just a capacitor that needed replaced, and he got it fixed for 150.00 to my delight. I am so grateful to have found this service. I would recommend it to everyone!

Was going to get a dual action pump but Brian told me I did not need it for my system. Cleaned filters while there which they needed.

Great! See above, but I would trust and refer Brian to anyone! He's an honest businessman, wow, how often do you find that!

Brian came the first time and cleaned the filter for our pool. He expained the process as he worked and also checked the chemical levels for the pool. He let us know that the pool needed an additional chemica the pool. In November, one of his employees cleaned the filter. We were very satisfied with his work and plan to use him again.

Brian was always on time and did a excellent job. I wasn't able to be home when some of the work was being done but Brian always kept me informed on how the job was going. Price was fair for the amount of work he had to do, the pool was in pretty bad shape. He also saved me some money by letting me know the existing filters could still be cleaned and the filters I had purchased weren't needed. Highly recommended!

Brian is a class act none of his competitors can match. I own several houses with pools and we started with him repairing two of them then continued with ongoing service. I have had many "pool guys" many at better price points than Brian, but Brian saves me money by always taking care of things, showing up like clockwork, and being dependable. My time is valuable and Brian understands that.

Our pool was very much in need of deep cleaning!! Brian arrived very early on a Wed morning to begin the draining process. He then returned early Thu morning and completed the chlorine bath, which is a major deep cleaning of the pool interior and he also thoroughly cleaned our filter. He then started filling the pool back up with clean water using an auto-fill tool... so once it was full, it shut the water off automatically.After he was done, our pool looked even better than it did after an acid wash 3.5 years ago... it went from dingy & dirty to beautiful & sparkling clean in less than 2 days time! We are very happy with the work he completed and have since hired him for regular pool service, and will complete a review on that work after a little more time has passed.I would certainly recommend hiring Brian if your pool needs a deep cleaning!

Called him on Thursday morning and he said he would be at my house between 9 & 10 the next day. Arrived promptly at 9 AM.

I got Brian recommended by an Angie's member last month,before I became an Angie's member this month. His price was pretty much the same as others, except he didn't come up with "other parts may add to the cost". So no hidden costs. He went out of his way to not only replace my original broken motor, but once the new one was replaced, realized that it was defective, went back to get another new one. So he worked double the time for the same replacement project. What a trooper! He's nice and honest, and I would hire him again if needed....but hoping I don't need him again for awhile.

Brian's Deep End-Able Pool Service are great. They are perfect.

I sent Brian an e-mail at 11 PM on a Monday night. He responded to my e-mail by 7 A.M. the following morning and came out to see me a few hours later. Water was toast as I expected being it was a foreclosure. I was afraid to even look at the filters because I knew what we would find. After opening up it was obvious I would be buying new filters. He quickly came up with an estimate and gave me a time frame of staring up my pool which would be Saturday afternoon. He came back early Wed. morning and we began to drain the pool. He was back out early Thursday morning to acid wash and scrub the pool. He also rebuilt the robotic vacuum and set up the filters. It came out great and we started refilling that afternoon. He told me to call when it was full and he would come out to start me up. I called him late Thursday to say it would be done in the morning. Friday early he was out and had the pool looking great and running. It was really nice to have my pool for my first weekend in my new house. We also came up with a plan for him to service the pool for the first month and see if we could ease in to me taking care of my own pool. I really appreciated his comment of "Nobody can take care of your pool as well you can if you really want to do it." I would definitely recommend using Brian.

Brian answered my phone call immediately and set up an appointment for the next day. We had just moved in and needed the pool equipment set right. He determined we have a bad float valve or something like that so he turned it off for now. Will have to repair at a later date. Will call him again as needed.

I worked for two afternoons in the hot sun (102 degrees) trying to figure out why my pool pump would not "prime" or move water. I even used a wet/dry vac to clean out my canister (bolts, presure screens, broken pieces of plastic). I had been looking for a reliable pool/spa guy when I first got my Angie's List membership and saw Brian's reviews. I called him on Thursday at 5:30PM. He called me Friday morning at around 8AM and scheduled to come out "exactly" at 2:30PM when I got home from work. I got home and had barely changed clothes when Brian rang the doorbell precisely at 2:30PM. I showed him the problem and he ran diagnostics (he ran a hose into the system and ran water into the system to see where the leak was. It took him less than five minutes to find the leaky valve. In another two or three minutes he took the valve apart and we could see that the "O" rings had deteriorated (and broken -- they were now "U" rings). Brian spent more time searching for the replacement "O" ring in his tool kit than he had taking the valve apart (I swear). He replaced to "O" rings (all of the "O" rings on the valve) put it back together and turned on the pump. Joy! He put the skimmer basket and top back in the pool. Gave me some advice on cleaning the pool, acid washing the pool, and repairing tile and cool deck. (Brian, if you're reading this you forgot to give me the info on the contractor to do those repairs - I'll be calling you next week!). Cleaned up the work site without prompting. He reminded me that Angie's List had a $20 coupon that I could use and left me a coupon to use against future services. Brian said he felt bad charging me the $90 for the repair since it took such a short time to fix but my pool is working again and I get to go swimming this weekend and there was no sales pitch on his part for other things so I think it was money well spent.

His services are very good. I was impressed on what I read on Angie's List. He responded very quickly to my email at 5:00am. He was very honest and gave me advance on how to clean the pool and to save money by cleaning myself. We will be using service once for general inspection.

Great service for the last two years..

Pump needed to be replaced and was replaced in a minimum of time. service was on the mark,price was right and pump was fixed

We called Brian for an estimate for an acid wash. We explained that we were also considering replastering or painting the pool. He first explained that he did neither, but that he could refer us to providers if need be. After he looked at the pool, he explained that the plaster was too old to effectively acid wash and then recommeded we simply, "enjoy the pool this summer and replaster in the fall when the prices would be much lower." We asked for and he gave us quotes for chemicals only, weekly and monthly pool services. In the end, we decided on the weekly service and he was able to start the following week. Then right after he started, we started a new yard care service (also found through Angie's List) that was unable to reschedule their service time and day. Brian worked with them and us to find the ideal times for everyone. Even though we have only used him for a short time, I believe the events and recommendations he has made are evidence of his integrity and quality of service.

Brian did a good job with the filters and offered some valuable recommendations based on his knowledge and experience. I purchased a leaf cannister from him which he installed along with showing me how to service it without losing the pump's prime....nice.

The whole experience went very well. I lost prime on a rental house pool pump. I tried everything I could think of to find the cause and repair it. I finally gave up and found Brian on Angies List. He quickly returned my call and we set up an appointment. Brian arrived early and had a friendly very attitude. He immediately started troubleshooting the system and literally within minutes found the problem to be a cracked strainer lid which was very hard to see with the naked eye. At that time I had mentioned that I was going to call him to take care of a clogged main drain at my primary residence at a later time. As he solved the first problem, he offered to take care of the clogged drain at that time. I took him up on his offer and Brian again in a short period of time was able to immediately clear my main drain, which I had been dealing with for a very long time. Brian also checked my other lines with CO2. I found Brian to be very generous with lots of pool related information. Brain was more than reasonable with his charges and I felt a tip was in order. I will be sure to call Brian in the future and will recommend him to anyone I can.
