. I never was told it was a three year plan, in fact we knew we were selling soon so why would we sign a three year contract? After signing on and having several alarms go off without a phone call, we got it straightened out. About a year later we sold our home. We planned on selling it in the spring, but sold in January. After doing everything I could to please them, I still had to pay $600 to finish the contract. I explained to Ken, not only am I a disabled veteran on a fixed income, but that how could we pay for an alarm service on a house we do not own? Ken, said to me "I completely understand, and I will take care of it. I would not pay either". Well, Ken took care of it by sending me to collections and they added $200 to the bill for themselves. I know people are going to say well you signed a contract. I did, but I did not know it was for three years. Again, we knew we were selling our house so I would have never. The part that gets me is when I was not connected to the service and they did not know all they said was oops, sorry. This is shameful and I would recommend going anywhere else but TSI. This is my opinion and I am entitled to it.

Their response when the alarm has gone off is remarkable. They have called us right away to make sure we are OK and have even had to track us down while we were on vacation when the alarm went off. When we built the house, we had it pre-wired so we could have an alarm system installed. They did have to come out once to fix the motion sensor on our patio door due to high winds. They came out right away and we haven t had any problems since.

TSI explained how to use the system well, and we've never had any false alarms, nor has the system needed any repairs since then. They checked it once from their office to make sure everything was working properly. We're satisfied with their service.

Whenever we've had false alarms, TSI responded immediately. They also needed to come once to fix an alarm in the master bedroom which kept going off inappropriately. We've had no problems since and the charge was included in our monthly fee.

Total Safety seems to be an okay company. We have been using TSI alarms for about two years now, and they have never checked their system to make sure everything works alright. They provided us with a panic button, but we have never had any false alarms, so I do not know about their response time.

We've used TSI for two and a half years and are very pleased with them. We had one false alarm and they responded within 30 seconds. Other than that, we're not in too close communication with them. They're very inexpensive.

TSI originally installed the system several years ago. They are very attentive and always call if there's ever a false alarm, which we have had upon occasion. Nevertheless, I feel it could be a better alarm system. They charge by the month.
