carpet installation
+ -1 moreI remember getting about six other quotes and my gosh, Home Depot, believe it or not was the cheapest of them all. I have never seen their work, but, I was kind of stuck with them because of the pricing. The carpet was included in the installation price which I thought was very good. The carpet however did turn out looking wonderful. I am very pleased and I am very happy I chose Home Depot for the project. I would not mind hiring them again. The people were great all the way from customer service to installation. I have no complaints at all.
Description of Work: Home Depot was hired to install carpeting in 7 rooms of my home. I cannot remember the exact footage of the rooms but they are rather large.

home remodeling
+ -1 moreHome Depot has done good work up to this point and everything looks good and made of high quality. I do have mixed emotions with them. The problem that I have with them is the scheduling between all the subcontractors. It has been about four months now on a job we expected to only take about two months. We have tried just about every resource to get this to run smoother but it just doesn't work. I probably wouldn't use them to do this type of job again even though the results most likely will be everything we wanted. The job is not complete yet so I am not sure of the total cost.
Description of Work: They installed all new cabinets, countertops, and our back splash.

+ -1 moreHome Depot did a great job with the installation. The problem I have with them is the price. I am not quite sure exactly how much I did pay in the end. All as I know is that the pieces that they had used for the job, I could have bought myself for about $60. They charged me way more than that they had told me it was all mostly labor charges they had charged me. If I had a known that in the beginning, I would of done it myself. I feel that they did do good work and it looks really good. I have no problems with anything; I just did not agree with the price. I probably would hire them again. I would have to get an estimate on whatever I was having done first.
Description of Work: Home Depot was hired to come to my home and install some ceramic tile in my very small kitchen.
