Description of Work: Initially scheduled apt for bid on October 18th at 3pm-- Rick called last minute and cancelled-- rescheduled for October 23rd at 3pm. He showed a little late since he was finishing a project at another location. It is November 11th and I still have not received any kind of cost analysis from him. I would think that approximately 2 weeks is sufficient time-- so I have moved on, and will no longer use his services. He did indicate that he is busy and booked out for several weeks. So that may have been a subtle indication that he was not interested in work I wanted done. Haven't heard from him at all.

Description of Work: No show. Insisted on setting appointment at time that was convenient for him then forgot and did not show. Rescheduled again at time "that was even better" for him and then called twice trying to change it. We said forget it.

Description of Work: Checked out a water leak in the drip system--my water bill had doubled in one month. The water company came out and checked it out and said that there was a leak in the front yard section. I checked the front and could not find a leak around the bushes. The leak was the regulator for the system. Rick's did not have a part but went to Star Nursery and got one and installed it. They helped me with the water clock also. In the back yard I also had a leak and they found it and repaired it. I also had part of the line exposed in the back and they buried it for me. I was very pleased with the service I received and would use them again. It went well. This is the story from start to finish.

Description of Work: Rick and his team had proven to be both personable and reliable. Two separate jobs were done and both experiences were exceptional. A conduit for power was run across the yard and artificial grass installed in two areas of the back yard. We appreciated that the estimates were accurate and we considered them to be reasonable for expecting quality work and materials. The crew was on time, finished the job, and also cleaned up the work areas very well. That's priceless! We were also very happy to notice that good care was taken with the surrounding areas. Thumbs up all around! We would use this business again and definitely recommend.

Description of Work: We had a problem with our irrigation system. Rick came right out and gave us an estimate and even fixed our irrigation timer [incorrect wiring] at no cost while he was here. His crew members came out in a timely manner, were very pleasant and got the job done. Everything works fine!

+ 1 moreBefore Rick came over my yard was looking derelict. During the estimate, he listened carefully to my concerns and made suggestions I hadn't thought of. He quoted me a very fair price and we scheduled the work to be done less than a week later. He had a team of 3 guys come out to do the yard work and they were here for several hours. I had to leave for work when they arrived and when I came home it was like I was pulling into someone else's driveway. All the weeds had been removed, the plants were all trimmed nicely, the leaves were all blown away so I could actually see the rock landscape again. They transplanted the lime tree to a new location so it could grow better and installed a drip line. They pulled out an old lantana plant that was taking over my back yard and replaced it with new colorful slower growing ice plants. They installed a wire along the brick wall so my honeysuckle plants would grow up rather than out. They left no evidence that they were here. Everything was cleaned up. I am very pleased with their work!
Description of Work: Bushes and plants were trimmed, weeds were pulled, some plants were removed, new plants were planted, a tree was transplanted to a better location with a drip line installed. A diseased tree was treated with medicine. Wire was put up so my ivy would grow along the brick wall. Leaves were removed.

+ -1 moreThey arrive every Monday around 7:30 a.m. and go to work pruning, blowing and taking away so my front yard always looks neat and clean. I trust them.
Description of Work: Rick comes out once a week to perform landscape maintenance. He installed original landscape in March 2007 and has maintained it ever since in outstanding manner. The $100 is the monthly fee. He's responsive to my questions and monitors health of plants. He originally installed an in ground Ez Flo fertilization system. They prune, blow leaves and collect them and carry anything away. Couldn't ask for better service. Would recommend him highly.
