The service was marginal. I had another landscaper come and finish the job. It wasn't patched enough where I wanted it to. A guy came out within a week and then I had the owner come out and it still wasn't fixed.

At first, had some problems with setting up an appointment. Purchased online, 9/18/14, and did not hear from contractor for a couple of days. Ended up contacting him direct, and was told that it would take a few more days to scheduled. Did do what they could to take care of it as soon as possible, after we spoke on the phone. Arrived as scheduled. Did repair quickly and had time to do additional work after front and back yard inspection, at no extra costs. Professional and worked quickly. Would definately recommend.

I liked the owner as he was very personable. He listened to my ideas of what I wanted for a total makeover of my back yard. I requested new landscape, outdoor kitchen, some type of water feature, an addition to my existing patio and a new patio cover. When he make his site servey he didn't take any measurements or notes of what I wanted the design to incorporate. When he presented his plan there were many aspects of the design I didn't like. I restated what I wanted the design to include and he promised to redo the design. It took a couple of follow up calls to get the new design but when he provided the revised plan it still didn't include everything I was looking for. After two tries I decided to try a different landscape company. I ended up using Distinctive Exteriors. They listed, measured and provided a complete design at a fair price.

Trimmed all of the bushes and hedges, cleaned up fallen leaves and trimmed low hanging branches on my tree. Very good job each month.

I purchased the "Big Deal" on October 28th and service was scheduled within two weeks. The service was for 12 hours of landscape work. How this works is that they will send out a specific number of people for your job. Each crew member's work counts against the 12 hours. I for instance had three crew members so I was entitled to a total of 4 hours of work from each. The crew arrived 15 minutes early and I spent about 15 minutes with the lead on the crew, Jared, explaining what I wanted done. They all immediately got to work and didn't stop until they were finished. One of the guys was working on the front yard trimming up all the bushes and shrubs and the pine tree along the side of the property and then cleaned up the pine needles in the rock driveway and pulled a few weeds. Another guy started taking out the four rose bushes out back. These rose bushes were each about six feet tall and four feet wide. A couple bushes were pretty dead and another was partially dead. The guy knew that I wanted the irrigation to remain in these four areas so that we could plant some other vegetation at some point. So he was very careful with the irrigation lines while removing the bushes. The third guy which was the lead, Jared, started working on the large Mediterranean Fan Palm. I am sure there were about 300 or so dead palm fronds that need to be removed from this plant. It looks amazing. When the guy was finished out front he worked on the side of the house in the back yard pulling weeks from the rocks. and at one point all three guys were working on trimming up that large Mediterranean Fan Palm. When the crew was finished trimming and pulling weeds, everything was loaded into the bed of a big truck so they could haul it away with them. They used blowers to clean up all the debris that was left after they loaded up the vegetation into the truck. I thought I was going to have to dispose of all this bagged and bundled vegetation but was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to. I figured it would take two to three weeks of trash pick-up to get rid of it all. They even skimmed the pool of any debris that may have fallen in while they were working. While the other guys were finishing the cleanup and loading the truck, Jared started on the irrigation leak. He was able to determine very quickly that one of our valves as bad and replaced it. Jared even moved my watering zones from 3, 5 and 7 to 1, 2 and 3 to make it easier to remember. He also reset my clock for the proper watering day, zones and time for the season. They easily finished all this work in the time allotted. I would definitely use this company again. Thank you for such a great job.

They are always very good and always on time. If I have an issue or ask something else to be trimmed or pruned they do this with no questions ask.

Eduardo's crew is very good. Their trimming is very good. They trim anything I ask. Bret, the owner, is very good with responding to any requests. Great price for the service.

They showed up on time and cleaned everything up and did a good job.

Cacti quoted me $44 for once a month. They did not ask for more money for the initial visit. I was skeptical but the first time they came in September they did an excellent job. They were here again this month and I'm extremely pleased with their work and punctuality.

Called Brett's office to schedule a estimate and Brett came out the next day and was able to give me a estimate on the work I needed done. The work was quickly scheduled. On the day scheduled Brett and his crew arrived a half hour early to start on the job. Brett reconfirmed the work to be done and they started. The front yard was promptly taken care of by removing a big rosemary hedge and then trimming all other plants in the yard. In the back yard, which was in very poor shape, some plants were removed, trees/ bushes trimmed and then blown clean. Then the 20 year old sprinkler system was taken out and a new one installed. Once that was done new rock was added and the old lightening system was removed. Then the smaller front yard 20 year old sprinkler system was removed and a new one put in. New rock was put down in the front yard. Everything was blown clean. Brett's crew worked quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend him and plan to use his company's services again.

I was very impressed by the reviews on here as well as the providers website. I contacted the provider to inquire about a maintenance service quote and was immediately asked for my address. The next question was about whether or not I had grass in my back yard. I replied that I did and was immediately told that they didn't do grass. I tried to respond by saying I didn't want anything done with the grass and that I would take care of it, but I was cutoff mid sentence and again told they didn't do anything with grass. I was then referred to another company that they said does a great job. I contacted the referral, but have yet to hear back from them. I have taken another look at the company's website and see nothing saying that they don't do any jobs that include grass. They even have pictures of houses that include grass on their website.

It went very well. Their price compared to others are reasonable. They are very friendly. They are efficient-It only took them 1 day. They deserve a very high review.

The purchased a "Big Deal" for Cacti Landscaping to check my sprinklers: -2 men from arrived and went straight to work -uncovered all the sprinklers heads in front and back yard -replaced several sprinkler heads -showed me the location of all the sprinklers -SURPRISE during their inspection they found a leak in the water pipe!!! -they are returning on Monday the repair the leak! -very professional -very polite and I will hire them again

The three landscapers arrived and asked what we would like done and got right to work. They were very efficient, did everything we asked and some things we didn't. They blew all the debris and leaves off my courtyard area between my house and my casita which can be a real mess. It looks wonderful now. All the plants are trimmed to perfection as well as one of my trees which grows on top of my casita roof and has to be trimmed back. They also found several drippers not working and replaced them too. Everything was left in perfect condition after they were done, no debris left behind. I would highly recommend them without reservation!!

My husband initially tried to fix it himself but it was more involved than he expected. The guy actually had to dig something in the trenches so more labor intensive but the person that came out was able to fix the problem quickly.

There were some miscommunications in the initial contact. I thought he had my number and he had sent a message on Angie's list that I didn't see. Once we talked he said he was busy but would be here today between 8 am and 2 pm. He was here right at 8 am.. Had me tell him what was going on and he looked at possibilities for where leak might be. Advised me that the leak was not in the sprinkler system. Offered to apply the money I paid towards sprinkler work I needed done. He was very prompt, courteous, and professional. I would definitely recommend him and use his service again.

The worker was on time and did the work requested very well. He worked for 2 hours without a break and did a good job.

The design wasn't what we really wanted. We decided to postpone the work to a later time.
