Bought a house in Las Vegas in August that had some sprinkler issues and overgrown grass on the front lawn. Bought the Angies 2-hours for $100 Big Deal coupon for irrigation repair. Spoke to Cacti and they sent a guy over pronto to fix my sprinklers -- the guy spoke to my son, did some repairs to the system, but left no other estimates on work to be done; he said I should call the boss regarding the lawn. I did so, and Cacti said they wouldn't cut my lawn -- also suggested I search Google and find someone else to do the rest of the yard work. So, went looking for a firm to cut my grass and to install $25,000 worth of lawn, trees and landscaping. When I got to Las Vegas to inspect the work, I found that the sprinklers were watering the street and the side of my house, resulting in a very high water bill, and damage to the stucco. Cacti was not a good choice.

Very friendly and informative. Fixed a couple leaks and made sure everything worked properly. Great deal. I will use them again.

Cacti is great! They arrived on time and repaired my broken sprinklers. They also adjusted my watering schedule. Now my grass is green!

summer startup which was 4 weeks late of commitment. I had to call them back to finish the service in June as they did half the job. The provider then never showed for July service and today on Aug 6th when I emailed about the no show I got a call from the service manager who called me a dirty name and swore at me. I admit I rose my voice but I was civil yet got a tirade from Cacti. I would never use them and advise everyone to avoid this landscaper. They never show and their work is inferior. Furthermore they want you to pay in advance. I paid them for July service on July 11th and no show for all of July. What did I get from them was a foul mouthed swearing episode from the service manager. If Angie's List rates these guys above a C+ they are encourageing more of this behavior.

I called Cacti Landscaping because they were at the top of the list when I searched for a yard clean up company. I realize now that they were only at the top because they offered the most coupons and I didn't realize my search was set up that way. Anyway, I called them on the phone and they lady asked for my address and when I told it to her she said "Wow, you have a big yard"? and I guess because of that we had to set up an appt. for someone to come out and just look at my yard and give me an estimate. 1/3 acre is not huge when a majority of it is concrete and a casita? Tiny area of grass about 10' X 20' and a bunch of rock and some tree's & shrubs? Oh well. Well, just to get someone out here took them 6 days. When the gentleman showed up to the house he spoke with my wife, who told him what we were looking at having done. Basic yard clean up of leaves and some very light pruning. He said he would make notes of everything and have someone in the office get back to us.! I got home late last night and did not talk with my wife about the landscape quote until today. I was flabbergasted when she told me that he did NOT give her any type of quote at all..!! He was here as a representative of the company, sent by the company and could NOT give an estimate. Doesn't look good when a someone who comes out to give you a quote, can't or won't give you a quote. Unbelievable.. Nobody from Cacti Landscaping called me this morning by 11:30am, so I called them. No answer..! Message machine came on saying that they are out of the office until Monday and that's when they would return calls. Just a completely unprofessional experience with this company. Because of this, of course, I will not be using them. I called another landscaping company from Angie's list TODAY and they were out here to give me a quote "on the spot" within 1 hour..!! They gave me a great price and they will be out to do the work, the first of the week.

No Call back. Even a courtesy call saying they are not interested is appreciated.

When a irrigation line broke before the work started, someone came out and did a temporary fix. They also replaced a plant on warranty. They were very responsive.There was a miscommunication on the date of the work and I wish they would have been more helpful with our association approval. We also missed out on the water rebate since the work was completed and we did not realize we needed an inspection BEFORE.

We purchased the Angie's Deal for 2 hours of service for $100. They were very busy and booked up, but when we told them this was an active leak they sent out a two man team that very afternoon. The repair went fairly easy and the workers were very courteous. We asked that the hole be left open (we would fill it in later) so we could make sure the leak was indeed fixed. It was. They weren't here for the full 2 hours, but we really didn't have anything else for them to check. We were just grateful for the prompt reply to our problem.

was completed much faster than I had anticipated. Oscar and his crew did a wonderful job. In my opinion the price was fair what was needed. They even added a couple of extra drip irrigation lines, and I wasn't expecting that. Also, they cleaned up the area nicely. I will use Cacti Landscaping again when it's time to do my back yard.

Contact them to get Landscape estimate. Showed up as promised and sad I would be contacted within 48 hours. I called back twice and they said would return calls. Nothing. I called back a week later and finally got a call back. Sent estimate, but cannot read on portable device as I only had my phone and IPad. He said I had to use a computer. After much frustration, I said forget it. I know it is a busy time of year, but I was really frustrated after seeing their great reviews.

I have never worked with a more professional company. Brett was prompt on the first appointment for the initial bid. Even though we weren't the most ideal customers (changing the scheduled dates and the scope of the job) he took everything in stride constantly focused on our needs as the customer. A couple of weeks after the job, we noticed something wasn't quite right and he addressed it the same day we let him know about it. I would recommend him to anybody!

It went okay. I would possibly use them in the future.

I paid $100 for 2 hours but there were 2 people who showed up and so they worked for about 1 hour. One of the people was on the phone too much. I don't think they checked all the heads to make sure everything was working, as described, but all in all the work was OK.

Work was done to satisfaction

The work they did was really nice. They cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. The one thing I had a problem with is they said they would be at the job between 2 and 4 o'clock and they show up at 12o'clock. If they were going to be early a telephone call would have been nice. They were very lucky someone was home.

I bought a deal for sprinkler repair and scheduled the appointment. The workers showed up and did lawn maintenance work instead; I only noticed because my hedges were trimmed and weeds pulled. I called the company back and explained what happened. They sent someone back out to repair my sprinklers without any additional cost to me. Everything is working the way it should.

We contacted them for a quote and were extremely surprised and pleased at how quickly we received the quote, prepared their paperwork, and had the first service completed! They are the most efficient service company we have worked with here in the Southwest section of Las Vegas. They arrived to do our yard service and were fast and thorough with the trimming, weeds and the cleanup. The price for our monthly service also works in our budget. We will be a long time customer!

In the backyard, all the plants needed to be trimmed as they were quite overgrown. This was done, and the same for all the plants in the front yard. In the backyard there were also weeds, grass, etc., coming up from under the rock as there was not enough rock. Royal pain to keep pulling these out every so often. Cacti recommended taking out the old rock (as there was not enough), laying down a plastic (?) mat and put in new rock. It took nine (9) tons but it looks a lot better and no more sparse or bare spots. Also treated the entire backyard with a pre-emergent to make sure no more weeds, grass, etc., would come up. Was aware this can be done but not that is has to be renewed every six (6) months. Signed up for that service. It has only been a month so not a true test, but have not seen anything coming back up so far. All this work was done in one day. The final result was as promised and well done. There were some small out of the way spots in the back yard that could have easily been missed, but the didn't. Overall, a very good job, as promised. Have signed up for their monthly service and anticipate a good future relationship.

They took forever for them to set me up with the landscape maintenance service (almost a month waiting). The owner is friendly and service is good though. It is worth the price if you are willing to wait for it. The wifi sprinkler controller installation and replacement of sprinkler valve went well and Jerry was nice and friendly. No complaints there. I overall recommend Cacti Landscape.

We hired Brett to landscape our backyard in Las Vegas. This was done long distance and went off right on time and turned out even better than we expected. We have now hired Cacti to maintain our yard and would recommend him to anyone needing landscaping and maintenance. His responsiveness is refreshing!

Brett and his crew were hired to attend our yards every month. On several occassions we have needed special attention which we let them know about ahead of time. (Irrigation leaks, special plantings, etc) They make sure they send the right people out to deal with the problems and/or issues and are in and out in a flash. They don't waste any time and the job is done well. If there is a problem, Brett will make sure it is dealt with professionally and courteously. He seems to actually care that his people represent him and his company in the best possible light. We are very happy with this company and are delighted we chose them for our yard needs. The price is right and the service is great. Kudos to this company! .
