Brett and his crew did an AWESOME job, we couldn't be happier with the results. The yard is getting nothing but positive comments. Brett really knows his stuff about plants and design. The project from start to finish was very professional. Install only took 4 days, 1 day faster than we thought. The crew was here every day at 7am and worked at least 10 hours per day in the 115 degree heat. WOW the crew was awesome, I have never seen such hard workers. I can't wait to have Brett design and do my front yard. THANKS for the great work.

They worked like 10 hours a day and never really took any breaks. Hats off to them for the great work in 115 degree heat. My backyard was nothing but dirt and now it looks like a resort. So happy with the work and looking forward to having Brett and crew rework the front yard (the builder did a horrible job).

A supervisor from Cacti showed up and checked everything and when finished, had our system going. Reset a timer we had installed and replaced 2 of the sprinkler heads. Very courteous and professional. Would definitely recommend this company and will use them again for any future problems. Thank you Cacti Landscapes!

I would never do business with a company that fails to call or return a message.

After leaving a phone message and 2 email contact requests from their website stating I wanted to sign up for the monthly maintenance , no one ever called me back or responded otherwise. I was pretty disappointed as I did alot of research for someone and I feel the service they offer is perfect for my situation, within my budget and I really need the help. I know people are busy but why advertise if you don't want the new business? Their site says they will be in touch within 24 hrs. I pretty much count on a quick response from businesses.

The employee who did our irrigation system analysis and repair was excellent. The employee is definitely an asset to the company as he is very competent and consumer oriented (that's a rare attribute) as he wanted to be sure that the entire system was operating properly. He did quality work at a reasonable price. I'll highly recommend Cacti when someone is seeking irrigation system repairs.

Cacti Landscapes performed the needed service as outlined in their special, and checked over the entire system. I was more than satisfied and will be happy to recommend them when asked regarding irrigation system repairs. They were extremely competent and knowledgeable and did more than the minimum required. They were excellent and if we have another irrigation system problem, I'll call Cacti! They are definitely a 5 star company. Great work -- many thanks!

I recently bought a house with an existing irrigation/sprinkler system. I wanted some to check to make sure everything was in good order. I purchased the $100 for 2 hours deal. Technician found and repaired a few minor issues. He was professional and considerate.

I had issues with this provider form the very beginning. I purposely purchased this deal over another one knowing the provider was A rated but after the purchase was made and I tired to reach out to them to get the work done I had to try about 3 or 4 times before actually getting a call back. On the date scheduled a man named Jerry wearing a "supervisor" short came out to execute the work. His attitude was extremely poor and came off to me like he did not want to do all of the work that was involved for the cost of 50 dollars even though it was the deal he offered. He started looking at the system and ended up having to dig up some dirt which he left a mess along with a decent sized hole in the yard. He reset my system clock and I doubled checked with him that the system was running okay because the weather was going to be extremely hot and I needed the system to be set. He reassured me the system was good and offered to give me a quote on redoing the front/back sprinklers which he knew I was looking to do in the future which he never followed through with. After he left, the 1st station which he personally adjusted was not working and no water was coming out. iT is a very important spot with a lot of shrubs. I called him back to schedule a second appointment and had a decent interaction with the girl in the office but had scheduling issues with the provider on when to come out. We finally settled on a date which I luckily already had off for vacation and a time from 7:30-9. He showed up right at 9 and was nice but said there was nothing wrong with the 1st station system and checked the manual setting. i asked him about the auto setting but he assured me it was fine. While he was there he saw I had other landscaping work done from another provider which he acted very offended about. He also mentioned about the quote and he would follow up with it which he still has not. I am still having issues with my 1st station and I am stuck having to find someone else to fix the work was done. I feel as if I should not have done any work to begin with due to all the issues it has caused.

The employee that came to the house was on time and understood what I requesting to have done; he made the repairs and checked to see that all was working properly in a timely manner.

We were on a program where we paid $60 a month and they came in once a month. They came in for about half an hour. It was four guys but they just did a poor job. I would have a tree or a plant in full bloom and they would cut the flowers off. I finally got rid of them. Nobody speaks English and so you can't describe what you need. When you tell them what you need, they say, 'No, we are just here to blow leaves today.' They didn't cut back any other plants. They would say that they looked at my drip system but I know that they didn't. Sometimes they would show up on different days of the week and they would never tell you when they were coming. They just failed. I would call the owner and he would himself come out and do everything which was great but, the guys he sent out were very poor. They didn't have an idea about landscaping. I don't have a lawn but I have 1/3 of an acre of desert plants because we have rocks. It was cheap but I got what I paid for.

Took prepayment of $60 over phone and scheduled appointment between 10:30AM - 2PM. Jerry arrived right on time. Found the leak and fixed it and cheked all the drippers and replaced some. Very professional, very friendly and reliable Would recommend them highly.

After setting an appointment for an estimate with Cacti Landscape, I was told I was required to pay a $10 fee for the estimate. This is not a common business practice in the landscape contractor industry. I cancelled the appointment after being asked to pay the fee over the phone by office staff at Cacti.

They arrived as scheduled and did a great job. Yard looks great. They will be doing our maintenance too.

Landscape team showed up early and did a great job! Very pleased with the job they did for us and have hired them to do landscape work at the new house.

Brit arrived to go over what we wanted to do and gave us good recommendations. His crew of two showed up on time with a clean truck, trailer, and white uniforms. The boss, Victor, was superb. He did all the trimming and cleaned up beautifully. They had to come back a second day because Brit did not order the right amount of plants. The yard looks great. Now for some advice. 1. Request Victor. 2. Insist that Brit provide a written list of plants and work to be done along with his price. 3. Get two more bids. That was my mistake. I think he was expensive, but do not have other bids to prove it. I was surprised that Brit never showed up to inspect the work. He reluctantly gave us the $100 Angie's discount by first saying our job was a cleanup, not landscaping, even though his crew planted many plants. Get this straight ahead of time.

That worked out fine. They were professional and they got the job done.

The person came on schedule. He checked and corrected (if needed) every dripping head very carefully. He replaced some dripping heads without extra charge.

I think those were the guys that came out and fixed my sprinklers and it worked out very well. They did not charge more than the one hundred dollars. They were suppose to come out at a specific time and when I showed up from work all the work had been done, nobody was home, they had just done it without anyone being there and so I was like surprised so I was like, I said well how did they know what exactly I needed done?, because then I called them up because it had looked like he had done extra stuff that I didn't say I wanted to get done. I called them up and talked to them about it and nothing, it was okay, it was cool. They came out soon after the purchase price. The communications with them and the customer could use improvement. Whoever came out to do the work didn't understand what they were doing. I didn't meet the person who came out and did it and we never saw them.

They advised that some components in my system needed replaced. They were able to get it all done right then at a good price. The gentleman that came did a fine job.

Brett was very responsive, we had been without water for 48 hours due to a break in the main water line. Brett and his crew arrived on time and he was most concerned with getting water to the house, and then returning on Monday to put the yard back in order. Pavers had to be moved and we were really concerned with them being put back in place properly. We had a memorial service to attend and upon our return around 5:30 that same day everything was fixed, pavers back in place and the yard looked as if nothing had ever happened! We were thrilled and even the neighbors were shocked at how professionally everything was done. After messing around with a couple of "referrals" from friends, we are so glad that we went to Angie's List and found Cacti, definitely will use/refer Cacti to friends, family and other Angie's List customers.

I have used several landscape companies in the past and have not always been completely satisfied with the results. After getting quotes from a couple of those companies for the newest project and thinking that they were totally out of line, I searched Angie's List and, based on the reviews, contacted Bret with Cacti Landscape. We made an appointment and he showed up at the given time. After reviewing what we wanted done, he was able to generate a very detailed and extremely competitive quotation. I accepted his proposal and he gave me a start date of 12/7/2015. His crew showed up that morning to begin work. After a day or two, my wife decided to add some additional pavers, a flagstone walkway and some shrubs. Bret gave us a quick estimate of about how much that would add to the cost of the job. It took 5 days to complete the project and we couldn't be happier with the work that was done. Now, here is the big kicker! I wrote a check for the full amount of the contract plus what Bret had estimated for the additional work. The next day, I asked him to send me an invoice for our files. As he was generating the invoice, he sent me an email saying that it looked like he may have overcharged me for some of the additional work and that I was due a refund of $1000. I was stunned by that type of honestly and told him that since the job went over his estimate by a day, just make it $800. I guess he decided to split the difference and he sent me a refund of $900. I don't know how many other contractors or any other service oriented companies would have been that honest! I highly recommend Cacti Landscaping and for sure they will be the only landscape company I use in the future.

**Update in response to company response below: No I do not have the wrong company. I did not email you- I sent the message direct on your website under the contact us for estimate form where it asks you to fill in all your contact information and what the details of the project/service request are. I did this twice. I think your website must have a glitch or no one is monitoring and responding to inquiries submitted directly on your website.** I tried reaching out to Cacti Landscape through their website's request for an estimate contact form. The first time I chalked the non-responsiveness up to the possibility they were just busy and maybe their system takes a while to register my contact request. Then I submitted a second request to which I have still not received any reply to. This is for future landscape design services which will clearly end up costing me thousands of dollars to have done- which I am fine with- it's required to landscape by the HOA. To have submitted two contact requests and receive no response- disappointing. I reached out to a different company and received an email response within hours. I won't be using Cacti now because if this is the kind of customer service I get on my attempt at initial contact- just think of how it would be once work got started.

I called Cacti asking to have a sprinkler valve replaced and to get a quote to spread mulch in my back yard. I was asked to pay $65 up front for the service call. The serviceman arrived promptly at his appointment time and repaired the broken valve in 30 minutes. He asked for an additional $30 for the repair. I paid him in cash. He said the front office would send me a receipt. He looked at the back yard and took a sample of my existing bark mulch. He said I would get a quote in a couple of days with the receipt. It has been almost a month now. I never got a receipt nor a quote for mulch. After I posted the review above, I was contacted by Cacti. She apologized for not giving me a mulching quote, saying they must have lost the paperwork. She provided a quote over the phone. Cacti did the work the next day.
