The real issue with this business is the owner Brett Utter and his complete lack of professionalism. After speaking with Utter today (his cell is 702-370-5350) I can no longer tolerate his boorish behavior, the company's maladroit work as well as his office staff who are vapid and aloof although in the long run they're relatively innocuous. I've had Cacti's service for several years and have not been thrilled with their work but it was at least passable so I just dealt with it. I was forced to speak with the staff recently due to 3 consecutive missed services with no contact from the company. However my contact with the company was and is always difficult and tedious. I spoke with Utter today and during the conversation I was not only cursed at and berated but there was also language that was tantamount to threatening at worse and bullying at best. I have actually recommended this company in the past to others however after everything that has transpired I can no longer.

I never heard back from Cacti Landscapes Inc. He was gonna give me an estimate on some rock and some shrubs and he never got back with me and a week later, my husband called their office and asked them about it and the office said, "Oh, he hasn't turned anything into me. Let me contact him and I'll get back with you.", and that was the end of that. We obviously didn't hear anything from them.

Cacti always performs the assigned grounds maintenance to our satisfaction on a timely basis - Bret Utter is always ready to assist our needs and provide additional insight in making our home grounds the best they can be. He assigns his workers with a supervisor that are always punctual and will independently determine the most pleasing outcome for both aesthetics and irrigation conservation.

Nice! The crew prepared the foundation for pavers. Removed all old drip system pipes. Cleaned up all debris.. The crew was very courteous and understanding about my views on trimming the other existing bushes.

After 3 months of regular service, I am pleased with this company. I admit to being a perfectionist so I am really particular about even the leaf clean up. I only have bushes/trees/rocks.They are only allowed a certain amount of time for each visit so if they have to do a lot of trimming, the leaves may not be as well blown/cleaned up on that visit I noticed. Other visits....very ship shape! It is really nice to come home and see things looking sharp! I want to feel good and be happy with it when I see it and I believe they want the same. This company is, in my opinion, very reasonable for the type of services I have required so far. The only reason I gave them a "B" on the Quality is because I think they should allow a few extra minutes to complete the regular job too when it is time for Fall pruning/trimming. In other words, regular service shouldn't be short changed. Plus, they will do a more "quality" job which makes all of us happier. I have noticed this issue with other companies that I have either done business or inquired with in the past. Never the less, I appreciate Bret and his crews! To be able to rely on them affordably when I can't do it myself is a stress reducer! Thank you Cacti!

It is always a great service. They are quick, usually here with a team of guys that are done in about half and hour. I have recommended them to at four friends and will continue to do so.!

When my last yard care company went AWOL they were quick to get out and give me an estimate and since then they are here every week when they are supposed to be and they keep the HOA off my back which is all I ask for. Online account and automate billing mean I don;t even have to think about them .... my yard just gets taken care of with no bother.

The contracting process was simple, informative and quick. Cacti promptly got us in their schedule the next week and have been prompt and thorough ever since, approximately 1 year now. They accommodate requests quickly and respectfully. I highly recommend Cacti for landscaping service.

I’ve had Cacti work on multiple properties over 10 years. One property had a pool, and they actually cleaned the pool. They’re consistently on time for scheduled maintenance, if there is a change you’re notified in advance so you can make arrangements. Overall, Cacti is one of the best landscaping services in Las Vegas

This company wanted $10 and my credit card to come out and give us a quote for what they would charge to maintain our yard. This is the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. Pay $10 to get a quote????? I could care less about the $10. With this attitude, who knows what else they might pull when it comes to their service.

Geraldo made the service call. He is friendly and professional. He has worked for Cacti for over 13 years and loves his work. He recognized our Toro system control was an older complicated device and recommended a newer simpler control. When I explained that money was a bit tight, he said that we could apply a portion of our purchased package money and bring the cost of the updated system down to $70. I was delighted. He deftly installed the new control that WON'T lose its programming if it loses power and then showed me how to operate it. I can call Cacti anytime with a question. He then had me manually move through operation of the 5 zones and we walked the property tweaking the individual watering points. I could not be happier with the sprinkler service tuneup we received. It went great! They explained the issues and walked through them with me. They were prompt, kept their appointment and honored the two hours that was outlined in the deal.

First off, when I initially talked to the receptionist, I advised her that I was probably going to want some additional work done and explained that I had planted a couple new trees and might possibly need the service man to add sprinklers in that area. She acknowledged my requests and stated she would advise the technician. He was on time and polite and fixed my watering clock. He had "Supervisor" on his shirt so I'm assuming he was. My arm was in a sling and I had explained that some of my sprinklers were not working, but I was unable to work on them myself with just having one hand to work with. I explained that I knew they were getting pressure because some of them were working fine and that there was a previous service provider who was out and didn't bury the black hose deep enough in the ground. There were spots in the yard where the plastic tubes were coming up and I didn't want them dry rotting. I asked if he could bury these areas, he said he could. After the service was completed, I walked the yard and noticed he did not bury the lines as I requested, and I still had a couple heads that are not working adequately. I had also asked him if he could bury new line in an area where I had new trees planted and he said he didn't want to quote me a price because the office may quote a different price, but said he would notify them of what I needed and they would get back with me with an estimate. It's now been over a week and I haven't heard anything. I had purchased two hours worth of repairs and he left about a 20-30 minutes early. I didn't have a problem with him leaving early, but was assuming that the work was finished and all sprinkler heads were working correctly and lines were buried as requested. UPDATE AS OF 9/8/16: After posting this review, they called back and left a message, not even addressing my issue, they just said "We have an estimate for the work you wanted completed." That was it- nothing about the issue I am experiencing. I would never recommend this company, they don't have proper customer service with handling issues or complaints from their customers.

It went okay. I did not pay anything more. The guy that came out was very, very nice to me. Just one guy came out and he was very nice. They're good to deal with. You don't have a problem with them. They show up and work with you. They are fine.
