Description of Work: He said he is too busy to do the work. I also needed a leaking faucet fixed but he said he is too busy to do that, too....so he is the one who told me to contact Angies List and get a refund on the Big Deal.

Description of Work: This outfit is very busy, maybe overwhelmed at times. The tech really knew his AC, and explained what needed to be done, in clear terms, and the options I had to get one AC unit back up to normal performance. So, I was happy with the results of the service call, BUT, it was not easy to get someone to show up. I signed up for the deal, and then called to make an appointment. We took time to stay home on that day in the time slot agreed upon, and were disappointed when night fell, with no service. I called their number, and the tech apologized, he was too busy to get to us that day. So,,,, we rescheduled. When that day rolled around, same thing again. I called them again, and made it clear that this was their last chance. The tech did show up that time, and did a fine job. I got the impression that customers who signed up for the Angies List special were low priority.

Description of Work: I had purchased the big deal coupon to flush the water heater and check other plumbing. The service man did that, but he seemed more intent on finding other things he could do to generate additional sales that were outside the scope of the coupon. He was pleasant, but rushed.

Description of Work: Luis Jones came to our house on 3-28-13 for an A.C./Heating inspection. Which he found to be operating properly. In my wife's and my opinion he was very professional, courteous, and helpful by providing us information to prevent future problems from occurring. Well worth the $39.00 purchase on Angie's List.

Description of Work: Owner did exactly what his coupon said he would do. Check a/c plus two free gallons of freeon. One of my a/c was 16 years old and was leaking freeon over the years......this was not my first service call. I asked him if he could just put in a new one for me and how much it would cost. So...i bite the bullet and the same afternoon he put one in with higher efficiency and a ten year warranty. I also told him to put more freeon in the other one. In which, I did not realize "one hour" a/c and heating would have put in for nothing since it was under there warranty. I could have saved $450.00.

Description of Work: I never got the service done after calling and leaving a message 3 times. The owner on the phone message says he always checks messages yet has not returned my call or left me a message to set up an appointment. $39 down the drain for some big deal that was a flop. I understand it's the holidays, but not getting back to a customer after a few weeks of me calling and leaving messages is no bueno.

Description of Work: I purchased both the gas furnace and gas water heater offer. Luis arrived exactly when expected. He inspected and adjusted my gas water heater and gas furnace. He provided me several invalueable tips on what to look for and how to avoid problems. He is the BEST!!

Description of Work: Luis did a safety/performance check on our furnace, the first one we have had in the 3 years we've lived in our house. He said it was in good shape and only needed checking every 3-4 years.

I just bought this house about 4 months ago off the foreclosure auction and didn't know much about the condition or age of the water heater. Luis enlightened me and I have since used him for one of my rental properties.

Description of Work: Water heater for the house was broken so i called around to get different quotes and found that All Around Heating and Cooling had the lowest price. The person i spoke to was Luis and i had told him what had happened to my heater. he told me that he could come out and have a look at it. when he came out he was very professional and gave me a price to how much it would cost me to get a new water heater and how much it would cost me to get it fixed. we actually went to Home Depot to pick out the unit and i thought that was great that he took time out to go with me to pick out the heater. when we where at home depot i felt like he wasn't just trying to take advantage of me by telling me to buy the most expensive heater. it took him about 2hrs from picking up the heater and installing it. the job was professionally done and i was a VERY happy customer. would i recommend this company to my friends? yeah buddy!!! one satisfied customer!!!!!!

Description of Work: Louis came in and completely checked the AC unit and tuned it up. Zero complaints and zero additions or expenses in order to get it up to part. Totally impressed and very happy.

Description of Work: On the appointment day the service person was late approx 1 hr pas the scheduled appt tiem. He called and said he was running behind schedual but he could squeeze me in before his next appt. When he arrived I told him tha the AC was making a lot of noise and wasn't cooling as it should. He went on the roof and quickly anounced tha I needed a blower motor and the system needed 5 lbs of freon. I asked how much the blower motor would run and he said between $600.00 and $800.00. I asked about the freon and he said it would be a waste because I needed 5 lbs and his visit was only allowed to do 2 lbs and I would have to pay for the rest, but he didn't have time to do the job then and I would have to reschedual, but he would give me creedit for the money already spent when I had them return to repair the system. His entire visit lasted about 7 min. I have a home warrenty contract so I contacted them and they sent a repair person to check the system. He checked the system and stated that there was not freon reuirement and the blower motor was getting old but not in need of replacement in the near future. He replaced our thermostat and everything has been great since. I know this company will say they provide excellent service but they will never have the opportunity to provide it to me. As far as I am concerned they are a waste of time and I would never use them for anything

Description of Work: He found and showed me the bearings going out on the motor (leaking at base) which would eventually lead to the air unit failing. He replaced the original motor (over 10 years old) to add years of life to my air conditioning unit.

Description of Work: After returning home from our vacation, our house was not cooling down....just a little. I went to Angie's List and found All Around Heating and Cooling, read some reviews and decided to call. Luis (owner) was at my home in 1/2 hour. He checked our A/C unit and said we needed a new compressor or new A/C as our unit was about 20 yrs. old. We decided on a new unit. The price seemed fair, so I asked Luis when he could install one....he replied, "in 1 hour" WOW....with the temps around 110, I thought I would have to be put on a waiting list for at least a day or two. He returned with the new A/C and it was installed, old unit removed, area cleaned and a new thermostat installed. He also installed a new thermostat in the other end of our house where our second unit is. All of this was done in 1 hour. Luis is very professional, explains everything he is doing, patient, kind and very cute. He also does plumbing, so now I have a new plumber too. Call him, you won't be disappointed!!!!! Description of Work: Well although very charming my bill was 750.00!!!! After reading reviews and seeing most people only paid 49.00 for freon I feel very hurt. But I am glad he was so prompt! Clean, and at least he added freon to one of my ac units replaced hoses. I just still can't believe I actually paid 750!!! For it oh well :(

Description of Work: We were both very pleased with Luis and the job he did for us. He came out to just check the AC unit and found and SHOWED me what the problem was and what he would have to do to fix it, which I had him do. I have had a number of people come out for different jobs as we just bought a home in LV......so far Luis is the ONLY one to actually show up ON TIME, which I have always thought says a lot about the company and the person going to perform the work for yWe already have called Luis again for some further work we need done.
