All Around Heating & Cooling

This is a late review, I bought this for my mom to get her through the winter season for the house that she just bought. Last week her A/C unit was making a loud noise, I looked through her receipts to find the bill the company that checked her system last year (which was All Aound Heating and cooling) so I could use them again. When I looked at the bill and saw that they charged her for 4 pounds of freon($300.00) to check the heater system. I called 2 other companys to see if that was the right thing to do and they both said NO. I will never use these guys again and because of this they lost out on a $10,000 A/C and Heater replacement that I just did.

the compressor was replaced but the unit was not positioned in the middle of the cement slab, it is on the very edge of the slab and looks horrible. Any person who is interested in buying the house will immediately see it as it is next to the walk way. I talked to Luis twice but 7 weeks later I am still waiting for it to be fixed. Very disappointed.

It couldn't have been a better experience and I will use this company for years to come. I appreciate Angie's List for helping me find this wonderful company.

As expected. No problems.

I purchased the Big Deal on 5/27 and provided possible appointment times during the purchase using the online tool. I received an email back from the provider, asking me to call to schedule. I called and was told the first available appointment would be July 2nd. I was disappointed that there would be such a long wait for the service, but he explained that he was a "one-man operation" and so we scheduled an appointment between 8am-9am for 7/2. On 7/2, no one showed up. At 9am, I called to inquire about the status and was informed that he would not be able to do the service because my A/C unit is not on the ground and he is unable to climb ladders due to physical limitations. As someone who has had multiple knee surgeries myself, I can sympathize with that, but still feel this could have been avoided by clear communication at time of scheduling and by proactively reaching out to inform me when he realized he would not be able to complete the service. Simply not showing up and not calling when an appointment has been scheduled for over a month is poor customer service. Had I been asked if my unit was rooftop, I could have found someone else to perform the service before the heat of summer began in earnest. I called Angie's to verify the details of the deal I purchased (as well as the fine print) and nowhere did it have a limitation stating the deal was good for ground units only - should the company post a Big Deal like this again, I feel they should include that limitation in the offer to avoid confusion. Full disclosure - In looking through my contacts, I realized the phone number for All Around is the same as a previous number for J&L - An Angie's List provider I had a reached out to previously for a quote on a bathroom remodel. While I didn't employ them for that project, that experience was a good one (Luis was prompt, courteous and provided good ideas) so I hope this was just an anomaly for an otherwise solid service provider.

Very well. checked out A/C unit, connections .. freon level etc. all checked out fine. He didn't try to sell me any additional services, nor did he try to take advantage by fixing something that didn't need fixing. I'll have him back to check the Heating in the fall..and next spring again for A/C.. I found this is a service company that is honest and reliable.

I actually caused an error in our first appointment, which Luis called to confirm and I neglected to call him back until 2 days later - which he graciously provided a re-schedule for the same week (he had worked backed up for a month...)

It went well. The technician and an apprentice came to check it out. They pointed out one of the vents needed a filter. I took care of getting the filter They were very helpful and polite. It was done in a timely fashion. They did what needed to be done. The price was reasonable.

I purchased a "Big Deal" in mid-May. It was for an A/C Service Call, Inspection, and Diagnostic check. I contacted the provider (All Around Heating & Cooling) by phone & was told the first available appt. was June 20, 8-9am. I put it on my calendar. About a week or 2 later, I rec'd an email from Angie's List, asking me to review the provider. I responded that they wouldn't be performing the service until June 20, & I would send in a review after that. The provider did not show up for the appt. When I phoned the company, I was told All Around Heating & Cooling had cancelled my appt., because, they said, I had given a bad review on Angie's List. I told the man that was impossible, because the work hadn't been performed yet -- how could I have given a "bad review"??? He was insistent that since I had given a bad review, he ASSUMED I didn't want him to keep the appt. After saying the same thing several times, I realized this man did not believe me, and it was impossible to change his mind. No one from the company ever called me or contacted me to say they wouldn't be coming. They just didn't show up. The man to whom I spoke told me he'd let Angie's List know I should get a credit for the $29; however, when my credit card statement arrived by mail today, the $29 charge was on it, but there was no credit. I called Angie's List & spoke to Andrew, who checked out my account & confirmed there was no "bad review" of this provider from me. He said he saw the email from me saying I'd review the provider after the work was performed on June 20. He also said the only way to get a refund was to fill out this form that he sent to my email address, which is what I'm doing. Please refund my $29 for services never performed by All Around Heating & Cooling.

Wow! I was blown away with the experience with Luis at All Around Heating and Cooling. Arrived on time for scheduled service and performed service professionally, explaining the process of the service and the current state of my A/C unit. Offered tips on cleaning and self-maintenance. You could tell he knew his stuff and never tried to up sell or add extra work. Extremely professional and cordial, I would not hesitate to use them for any Heating, A/C, plumbing or contracting needs.

The service went well. My tenants said the technician showed up, did their job and left. No complaints.

Was nice and got us cool again

Service provider was prompt.. professional and said my A//C UNIT was in good working order.. Didn't try to make me purchase extra service etc. Was very good. Will use him again in the future.

Purchased a big deal. Called contractor and twice he did not show up for the appointment. Rude. In 100' plus weather waiting for my a/c inspection/repair no one showed or called. Called Luis when the AC unit stopped working. Luis was punctuality, professional, He had the new unit installed by 3pm same day. Very happy.

He was fine. He came in, looked at the unit, and reviewed it. The price was high. He came at the time he promised to come. I asked him to come in the house and he said he didn't need to.

Bought one of the Angie's deals... $49 AC tuneup with up to 1 pound of Freon for free... Actually took A little over 1 pound of Freon, technician did not charge me for overage... Refreshing ! He was also on time !

I purchased on of the Big Deals for this service. Perhaps it was time to replace/upgrade my unit, and I wanted a professional opinion as well as an opportunity to evaluate a service person. Well, he gave me quite a lecture on why it would not be necessary or cost effective to change out my system! He said mine was top quality and would last many more seasons. He said my annual savings would not warrant the expense of a new system. Wow!! It's not often that someone turns down the opportunity to make a buck - but he appears to be both knowledgeable and ethical. Definitely at the top of my list if I ever need service. Thanks, Luis.
