The process was all fine, it was good. We didn't use them because they sell solar tubes, and we were thinking of closing our skylights and getting solar tubes, but in the end we just decided to go with skylights. The quote I got, was for installing a solar tube where there was no sky light. To remove the skylight would have been additional.

On time, neat clean-up, price as agreed, very fast installation

I am very pleased with my solatube. I called Natural Lighting for information, and it was suggested that I go to their showroom. I did, saw what they had, and decided to go ahead with the installation. Brooke was very helpful in responding to my questions, including research to find the effects on plant growth, and making suggestions. Don and Kim spent some time figuring out exactly where to place it and did a fine installation job. I love it, I'm glad I went with a tier drop cover, and I'm looking into using a filter to either change to a warm light or just tone it down. My dark bathroom has actually become very bright; I don't turn the light on anymore except at night.

I visited Natural Lighting Co twice. The first time was to look at their skylights and test the ventilation fan set up to see how loud it was. The owner, Brooke, I think, was very nice, and answered all my questions. She showed us the demonstration bathrooms with the fans in them with different light covers. I was very pleased. The second visit was to pick up my kit when we were ready to install it. Brooke was very nice and remembered what candy my daughter had liked the time before. She also gave me several design magazines to take home for my browsing pleasure. The ventilation kit was a simple install for my contractors, and has worked flawlessly from day 1. It provides a great deal of light, and even reflects some moonlight on bright nights.

The installers showed up on time and completed the job in about 2 hours. They guarantee that your roof won't leak around the Solatube for the life of the roof (our 5 year old ones never have). They cleaned up after themselves, and used a reader to take payment on site.

The experience went very well. I love the product. They did a really good job and are very nice people. I have no complaints.

We bought an older house and one room and the hallway was very dark, forcing us to leave lights on throughout the day. The Natural Lighting Co. came out and gave us a quote for 3 Solatubes, explained the whole process, and invited us to visit their showroom. The salesman that came to our house was also the owner and said he would be doing the installs if we decided to purchase. We went ahead with the purchase and the installers worked very hard to find the best place for the tube placement (both on the exterior and interior) while trying to make it work with our tight attic space. The tubes look fantastic and the amount of light we now have is incredible. I'm not one to take a lot of pictures, but I wish we would have taken before and after pictures because the difference is that dramatic. I strongly recommend The Natural Lighting Co. to anybody looking to brighten any room in their house.

Brooke and Don were complete professionals. From the first meeting to the install, they kept me informed each step of the way and coordinated with the roofer replacing my roof to schedule the install. The install was fast and the installation was clean.

The whole procedure went so smothly it was hard to believe. Don and Tim are actually miracle workers, they have to cut portions of the ceiling and did not leave A SPECK OF DUST BEHIND. It turned out very nice. I love my lights! They did a really good job. There were no hitches when they coordinated the work. They were very friendly and I see them all the time at the home shows and they remember who I am. I was very. very pleased with their work. I have already recommended them to several people!

They came in and told me it would take about 2 hours and it took exactly 2 hours. They ran plastic down into a bucket so nothing fell onto the floor. They did a great job. I went out on the roof and everything looked fine. We haven't had a problem with them since. In fact, I am going to have solar tubes installed in my bathroom next year.

It turned out very well. The owner of the company came and looked at everything and then gave us a quote. He then did the installation himself. He was really good and really pleasant to work with.We haven't had any problems with the lights since.

The installation went exceptionally well from start to finish. All details attended to and questions answered. Two men worked on the installation, one inside the house and one on the roof. They were both very efficient, considerate and friendly. Everything occurred as planned, on time and the work done was of the highest quality. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Found the Natural Lighing Co. on Angies List. Was looking for a skylight for my flat roof, wanted something different from the big square ones I already had installed. Visited the show room and Brooke & Don were really helpful explaining the different type of solar tubes and recommendind the best one for my needs. Originally I had planned on installing it myself, and they explained how I could do that. Time became an issue so I choose to have them install it, and boy was I please with the results. They work with the roofers and worked with their schedule, they came late in the day and I was worried that they would be working in the dark, but they installed it in about 45 min. They were neat and clean and did not create any dust or mess. they did a great job. The light that the solar tube brings into the room is fantastic, everyone who comes into the room is amazed with the different that such a small 14" diameter can do. It is not a harsh light, but a soft natural glow and looks like a recessed light in the ceiling, doesn't even look like a skylight. One more thing as I was paying Don for the job I forgot to ask for my Angie's list discount. The next day Brooke called me up and told me that they forgot to give me my discount and that she would mail me a check for the discount. We are very pleased,

They were very professional. I had some issues with the installation, not on their side though. I had ductwork and things like that that they had to take into consideration. They kept me in the loop with what was needed to be done and gave me my options. I felt very comfortable; I did not feel like they were trying to take advantage of me. If I needed another solar tube, I would definitely go to them. There are not a whole lot of other companies that do the exact same solar tubes, so I don't really have much to compare their prices with; it was about $600 for a solar tube. I checked all their work. They have a five-year guarantee against leaks in the roof, which I think is pretty substantial. They were very responsive. My wife got all the arrangements done, and I didn't really deal with them in terms of calling and setting things up with them. They were very flexible on the days that they were available to install the solar tubes. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

My house is a challenge as it has a very low pitched roof. They had to make a few holes here and there to figure out where to put the lights. They were very careful in sealing up the unused holes afterwards. Also they go over the different options available with you at your home. They also did a very nice job cleaning up. I would not get the attic fan again as I found that it actually made my house warmer inside as I don't have enough ventilation in the attic, so the attic fans actually draws the cold air out of my house. Later on I read in GreenBuilding Advisors website that attic fans are generally not a great idea at best and dangerous at worst, as they can draw in warm outside, radon gas from your crawl space or combustible gas into your home unless you have adequate ventilation in the attic to satisfy the fans needs. They mentioned adding more attic ventilation when they installed the solar fan for just that reason, though they did not go into what kind of bad things might happen if I didn't. The solartube lights are great and they even give off a little light during the night.

In this case a new roof of an addition had been installed over the old roof and ducting was run through the pass-through in the old roof, leaving no access to the old roof surface. There was insufficient room to work from under the old roof, so they removed an existing SolaTube in another room and used the hole to access the area of the attic where the old roof could be accessed and cut away. The SolaTube was then installed more or less normally. All was accomplished in under 4 hours. About 3 weeks earlier they also installed another SolaTube and a Solar powered attic fan (Solar Star) All work was precise and professional, the people are cheerful and the clean-up is excellent. They have now installed a total of 7 Solatubes for us, two with internal lighting, and all the work has been perfect. We plan two additional tubes.

They did a great job. They are the only vendor for that particular type of skylight in the area. I like the fact that I called them and they were able to accommodate my dates to install while I was having a new roof installed.

The Natural Lighting Co. had really great professionalism and was very clean throughout the project. The workers were really nice and did an excellent job throughout the project. There was not a speck of dust when the job was done. I am having them come back next week to add more skylights.

WOW. If you're thinking about skylights these are the folks to go with. Duane & Tim arrived on time & finished quick than the estimated time--my roof was every easy. I was amazed at how thoroughly Tim protected everything from dust. I have 3 little ones and they were so great about dealing with the toys and screaming when my kids could not play with them. Extremely concerned about my children's safety. You can tell that they love what they do. We plan in the future to put 2 to 3 more in the kitchen/living room area after we redo it. We will use again. And to anyone thinking about buying and doing yourself with a husband.... hiring them will SAVE you the cost of a divorce (lol). I love them! It's so bright I cast a shadow! The only problem is that I can now see where I did not get a stain complete out from the kids spilling.

We had Solatubes installed in a previous home in another state and were thrilled to find a dealer here in Albuquerque. Don and Brooke were extremely pleasant and professional to work with from estimate to installation. On the day of the install, Don arrived with an assistant and went right to work. They carefully measured everything and even put down drop cloths to catch the debris when they cut through the ceiling. In fact, they even made a plastic "tunnel" to hang from the ceiling to insure that as much dust as possible could be contained from the cutting process. They worked quickly and left no mess behind. Best of all, we now have a nice bright bathroom!
