Terry at Paul Davis was the best guy for the job.  We had discussed the problem with another company and they didn't hold a candle to Terry's professionalism and desire to have our satisfaction with the job.

A slow leak from our dishwasher, located in the kitchen island with a sink, caused damage to the island drywall, cabinetry and framework.  Terry gave us a quote that was within our budget and the estimate of the insurance company.  The process went as scheduled, was finished on time and on budget.  There were a couple of glitches that were fixed immediately and without any problem.  We'd be happy to recommend them for any kitchen job!

Very satisfied with their work. The pipe burst in the early morning hours (of course), and Paul Davis was on site within a few hours of calling them. They pulled up the carpet, detached the affected baseboards, and left several industrial dehumidifiers to dry out the room over a few days.  We decided to hire them for the second phase too (recarpeting, repainting, etc.). Their contractors showed up on time and were efficient in their work. I appreciated their giving us options for minimizing cost, such as having us move our stuff out of the room versus having them do it.  Cost was $1500-2000 for the drying out, and about $4000 for the restoration which included the cost of new carpet/pad.

They're a good company. I was out of town at the time and had someone give them the key. They came in here on the honor system. I was pretty happy about everything they did. There were a couple of things I didn't like, but they're not large enough to cause a ruckus over. They were near perfect, which is pretty good. The Paul Davis Company is honest. They give you a square deal. It doesn't always fit the insurance grid. My insurance guy was here for an entire morning, measuring and going over every inch of the damage. They came up with a pretty good number, but it was shy of Paul Davis's number. But it wasn't horrendously different, Paul Davis's was just a little bit higher. It was pretty amazing. Everything is back together again. There's new baseboard, which I like. There was mildew on the old baseboard. There's nothing ugly about the job. It was good.

This company was chosen by my insurance company to replace flooring & repair damage to my garage from an air conditioning leak.  The response was quick.  I apologize that this is being written over a year later, so I've forgotten some of the names.  I believe it was JD that came out initially.  He and another person used a meter to try to determine where the leak was coming from.  They determined it was in the garage as well, but it was I who bothered to move a filter that was leaning against the unit.  THAT'S when it was discovered that the leak was coming from the a/c.  Anyway, they tore up the flooring & the damaged wall & set up the blowers to dry everything out.  The problems really began when it was time to select & buy the replacement flooring.  I got the call telling me how much I could spend.  I picked out the flooring I wanted (Lumber Liquidators also LIED about how much they had available, but that's a completely separate issue).  I notified Terry Gates of the flooring I picked out.  I was getting different information on estimates and such, and wanted to get it all pinned down.  I felt like some of the numbers were incorrect.  The response I got from Terry was "I'm already losing money on this deal".  He made all the calculations for how much flooring would be required.  He picked up what Lumber Liquidators actually had in their store, and said he was worried it wouldn't be enough.  The guys got to work & the closer they got to finishing, the more they were telling me there might not be enough.  LUCKILY, there was.
They did not even out the foundation prior to applying the flooring.  There are areas where the floor is sinking.  I've got a piece of furniture up against the wall (one which they messed up when moving it), and there is a large gap between the flooring and the baseboard because of the weight.  They used CHEAP glue, and I've got boards coming loose.  ALL of the T molding is loose.
It's a beautiful floor, and if they had done it right, I'd be really happy with it.  Now I'm going to have to call the insurance company to see if anything can be done about it.  THIS company will not be allowed to step foot in here again, so hopefully, the insurance company will let me choose someone else.
Terry Gates is rude, unprofessional, and condescending.
I will say the garage work turned out VERY well.  That does remind me of something else, though.  They installed the baseboards in the living room before the paint was dry, so there is also white paint on my new floor.

We take your input very seriously, and if there is anything at all we can do to help remedy the situation, please don’t hesitate to contact us at (505) 884-5583. Ask for Kristi. We take pride in our excellent record of customer service, scoring an average 10 out of 10 on independently solicited reviews and maintaining an A+ Better Business Bureau rating since 1991. Amazing!

I've worked with contractors for 40 years and these guys were some of the best.  Courteous, professional, on time, in time and done well.

Found the damage on Sunday, they were out Monday morning and finished by Thursday in time to have the bedroom back for arriving house guests on Thursday evening.  5 different techs, different expert for each aspect of the repair and they were ALL polite, efficient and professional in appearance as well as performance.

I'd use them again without hesitation.  Thanks Paul Davis guys!

The first day they came out was on the 28th of May to do some painting on the house and they came and did water damage mitigation on the 19th of May. I paid $130 for the painting and the water damage was covered by insurance. They seemed to be concerned.

""Was a true pleasure to find a customer that recognized the quality craftsmanship of the people PDR" says Associate Ken Michel. Tradesmen, Ken Crooks and Kenny Michel, also chimed in how pleasing of a job it was—in and out of her way. The estimate proved accurate with no stone left unturned, too. No additional monies were ever needed. Thank you for calling Paul Davis Restoration to complete your repair needs. Best of luck in your job in Seattle."

Paul Davis Restoration was sent out by our insurance company to do the emergency board-up after a vehicle hit our house and put a sizable hole in our master bedroom. Their professionalism and attention to detail in that phase lead us to tell the insurance company we wanted Paul Davis to do the repair as well.
After all the insurance business was taken care of, the bulk of the reconstruction work only took a couple of days. The repair was expertly done and from the inside of the house, you cannot tell where the damage was. We are still waiting for the final repair work on the outside, but that's more about stucco curing time than their schedule. I expect that work to be quality as well.
We are so happy with their services that we want them to give us an estimate and consultation when we're ready to remodel our kitchen and bathroom.

"Thanks for Calling Paul! Associate Adam Nimz says, "we love a challenge and was more than happy to do the work. We're sorry this happened in the first place. Glad we met our customer service promise." Along with Adam, Robert Palacio and James Retter were also happy to "swing a hammer." :) Thank you for the kind remarks. We hope you do Call Paul for an estimate on a future remodel. Nothing better than having trustworthy gentlemen who proved their work ethics back into your home. We appreciate you."

After 4 estimates from contractors recommended by our Insurance Co., we tried "word of mouth" and connected with PDR. The other 4 contractors were unprofessional, unreliable and promise-you-anything-to-get-the-job types. PDR was none of these! All bids ranged from $6,000 to $35,000. PDR was neither the lowest nor the highest, but we felt fairly priced. We dealt with Gary Holmes, associate contractor with PDR. Gary epitomized good business practices: thorough, knowledgeable, courteous and responsive. He suggested many solutions to restoration challenges that were both practical and good looking. He kept us informed and visited the work site on a daily basis as needed. Communication on the project in general and specifically was outstanding. PDR's work crew was also exceptionally good (Robert Garcia and many others). Gary and Robert were anxious to please any reasonable request.
Our only criticism was PDR's contract was "boiler plate"/"one size fits all" and not consumer friendly. After negotiating mutually agreeable terms, we felt comfortable moving forward. Gary and PDR addressed our contractual needs --- something important to us since we had experienced trouble in the past with another contractor.
We would definitely seek our first bid from PDR for our future projects, requesting Gary Holmes as our contractor again.

All around a very professional job.  Gary  (the foreman) kept me posted throughout the project.  i received a call each morning from Isaac (the worker) letting me know he was on his way.  They took care to protect my furniture, etc and cleaned up every night before they left - very courteous. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.
