A fairly unprofessional representative came out to the house and was negative from the beginning about what I said I'd like to do. He basically said what I wanted would be too expensive, and instead of giving me more ideas, he complained about previous house visits. Then I didn't even receive a quote from the company for two whole weeks. Ridiculous!
Description of Work: Someone came to my house to evaluate the patio and give a quote on repaving it.

Dear member, bad reviews posted by consumers who have no budget to accomplish what they desire is not our fault or a reflection on our company. We submitted a bid out of courtesy knowing you had no means to do the job. Your comment that you just wanted to "know what it would cost" indicates the true motive. Your stated budget to us was 10% of what you desired. You were under budget but still desired us to produce a bid with several options... pavers, patio flagstone and select flagstone. It incures a cost to our organization to produce these bids and when it is not a viable job but rather a courtesy bid we generate the bid as time allows. We informed you to compare competitors bids closely as some contractors underbid and use substitute products, this was our "comment" or "complaint". They were not directed about previous "house visits". Sorry things didn't work out, have a good day.

Tom, who I believe the owner was great to work with. Right off the bat he pointed out issues with the project other contractors had missed in their quote. He worked with our ideas for the project and gave us different options and price variables we could go with. I was pretty specific with the way I wanted our pergola built and Tom did a great job pointing me to how we could get it done and with what materials. They came in at almost half another quote we received and knocked the project out fairly quickly. I think once they got started the whole thing took 2 weeks. We'd come home every day and another major part of the project would be complete and looked great. With any work like this I think there are little issues here and there but they always went out of there way to address any problems we had. We are extremely happy with how our backyard came out and you can see our pergola on his website. I would definitely recommend Narrow Leaf and the work they do, and I'm sure we'll use them again in the future.
Description of Work: We had several things we needed done and narrow Leaf was able to take on the entire project. They matched and raised our brick walls, doubled our concrete patio size, put in sod as well as a sprinkler system that hooked into our current timer, put in rock and pavers, and finally they built a large 10'x25' pergola to our specifications.

Narrow Leaf did a fantastic job. They were punctual and they were very clean with their work. Also, they were the only company to recommend a french drain and it really fixed our problem with flooding in the backyard. Even with the big rain storms in the past month, we have not had any flooding. Thanks for your great work!

Called company end of April got contract and took `1/2 money to them next day. Was told job would start in3 wks and take about 3 days. almost 5 wks later started on yard.. Man using bobcat ran into parapet on side of house tore up corner and cracked both sides of stucco about 6 feet up. This was repaired but added 3 weeks to job. Also in contract was power washing driveway which was never done. the bluespruce in front were to be in front of windows, were not. Drip system to one bush was moved when gravel was put around. Called several times to have these problems fixed. last time was about spruce in wrong place and roses needed to be moved back toward house, plus driveway never powerwashed. Man I made original contract with never contacted us to see if job was done correctlyhad to call him. He finally told me I was becoming a demanding client. by mutual consent deducted money frombalance due and part ways. A job that was to take 3 days took more like 3 months and still was not finished. Will never use this company again

Dear Customer: We regret that your experience with our company was less than satisfactory. A junior member of our team did hit a non-structural part of your home with heavy equipment. We expertly repaired the cosmetic damage by overbuilding with a perfect, unnoticeable repair immediatly and with sincere apologoies. You changed the instructions from our Operations Manager to not follow the approved landscape design and instructed our seasoned foreman in the altered placement of the plants and irrigation. Our foreman complied with a customer-first attitude. You notified our company a full sixty days after the completion of the project stating that we misplaced the plants of our own volition. Though this was not true, in an affort to placate you, we sent a crew to your home the next day to transplant according to our original design. You then called to complain that the crew was fifteen minutes late and not working while they hastily consumed their much-needed lunch. When your claim of fault was challenged, you became very hostile, vulgar and abruptly hung up the phone. Due to our desire to resolve this matter and receive final payment we agreed to your request that we discount your project with an earned coupon and a small discount to which we agreed . We strive for excellence in all that we do and hit our mark 99.9% of the time. This project was complicated and drug out unneccesarily due to the aforementioned issues which you had a hand in. Sometimes homeowners inadvertantly throw a wrench into the gears. We must note that the Manager in charge of your project made location calls every other day to review the progress with the Foreman and administered daily morning updates, but did not bother you in an effort to minimize disruption to your routine. The lines of communication were always open. We regret they were not utilized to their fullest.

The deck work was subbed out to someone who clearly did not have a good plan for a deck surrounded by stucco walls on our 2nd floor. We had to have multiple visits/repairs and finally got it to where we said it was good enough. Not what we wanted or expected.

Dear member, your presentation of this project are not true and accurate. For starters we do not sub out any of our deck or shade structure work, it is all done by us in house with our own employees as was your job. To post that we sub work to incompetent people is an outright lie. It amazes me how you couldn't and still don't understand that your stucco finish is 3-1/2" out of straight and full of curves and bumps. We cut the deck boards around these inconsistancies, to match the shape of the house wall it joins. This is the proper technique to build a deck where it joins a common house wall. You wanted us to perform an "optical illusion" as you called it to "hide" this crooked edge so prospective house hunters couldn't see how crooked the walls of your house were. You wanted us to cover up how poorly your house wall was built. I explained then and now that it's not possible. We performed a solution to your perceived problem with a piece of trim that is not common deck building practice. We did so with a smile on our face in spite of your husband being less than professional with us, he was a jerk, condesceding the whole time and acted like the crooked house wall was our fault. There's no way to make a 3-1/2" to 0" gap "dissapear" when the whole deck is in plain view. You blame us for poor work instead of acknowledging that your house is terribly out of square. Expectation is a strange thing, you expected a deck contracter to fix a stucco issue. I feel bad when a customer is unhappy, but I'm also a realist and know that we have properly built this deck. Where it joins the wall will always be "crooked" until you apply new stucco.

They added a patio roof over the portion of the patio that was previously uncovered and did an excellent job of matching it with the existing roof. Excellent workmanship and Steve and Angel were great to have on site. Cleaned up each day and they were prompt and polite. We are extremely pleased with the result and have received many compliments on the finished project.

Dear member, your FREE bid was still underway and close to submittle when you pulled the plug and posted your response. We spent an hour and a half on site with you and wanted to take on your project. Getting back with you "By the 10th" is just a guestimate based upon our bid work load. We get back logged on heavy weeks and catch up the following week. Sorry we couldn't help you out, but a bit of patience on the consumers part is also part of the equation, have a good day.

No estimate provided. Not even a follow up phone call. Landscapers are busy. I understand. But there is no excuse for not getting back to a potential customer, no matter how busy nor how small the job may be. I normally don't care for writing reviews, but given the "excellent" ratings this business is receiving on Angie's List i believe its important for future reviewers to know this rating system isn't flawless. In my business, every potential customer deserves professional courtesy. I gave them a D for at least showing up. But an F for what appears to be a blow-off. Not what you expect from a highly rated Angie's List business. UPDATE: In rebuttal to the owner's response. Simply put, you fabricated most of our exchange and have outright lied about my words and statements. Your pseudo attempt at shmoozing your response makes your credibility all the more unprofessional. You took the time to write lies ... maybe that's why you chose to use this venue rather than a simple phone call to say, thank you for the opportunity but we just rather not bid on this job. Note: Angie's list needs a better method of vetting suppliers and their responses. I will be in touch with Angie's List to discuss this further.

Good Morning Member, There were several reasons your bid was delayed to be submitted. At your consultation, you stated that "I know this is a really small job and this is a very busy time of the year for you guys. I'm going to get bids from several different landscapers, so I understand if you don't want to bed on this job." Your project was small for our company, making us not such a good fit for you. You also wanted the project done right away, even though we need some lead time for our jobs. We intended to provide a free bid, we simply needed a bit more time. Sorry for any inconvenience this caused. Pete

Met with representative in mid July, showed on time, spent over an hour discussing options and possibilities. Week later received estimate. The estimate was very clear and listed everything we had agreed to. Agreed to proposal and paid 1/2 down to schedule work. Had wanted work done before Aug 16. Conflicts with other jobs caused delay of start until Aug 24th. Crew worked very diligently showed up on time and kept me informed of progress/problems. Problems began when work on deck was nearly completed. First they ran out of wood and had to reorder, then to save wood they ran the flashing horizontally on one side while other face ran vertically (much better looking). Then when railings arrived they were, in acrually, spiked fence sections. When I told foreman that it was acceptable he replied "that was what the designer specified". I showed him the proposal which clearly stated a hand rail system and was told he would look into. The following Monday (they work a M-Thur schedule) I was informed that it would cost an additional $1000 to get the railings i requested. Told them to pack their gear and leave. Next day the foreman was back and apologized for the misunderstanding. We eventually settled for an additional $400 from me. By the end of September the job was finally done. The minor things like the flashing I could live with so I was happy to have it finished. Other problems during the course of this build concerned working with three different bosses 1 overall, 1 for the deck and 1 for the landscape. I got really tired of answering some of the same questions over and over again. In addition I found out after the job was done that the water feature was installed without a self-filling water ling causing me to have manually fill the reservoir at least once a week to keep enough water in it to maintain the pump.

We have a small back yard pond that was self built a little more than 10 years ago. Decided it was time to upgrade the look and also make it as maintenance free as possible. Tom, owner of Narrow Leaf, came out in late February to put together the initial bid on what we wanted done which included replacing the flagstone rock with moss rock and upgrading the pump to include a skimmer. WE also had an adjacent built up flower bed made out of landscaper brick. We wanted the front to match the moss look of the pond. After putting together the initial parameter of the bid, Tom turned the project over to Pete to work on the pump, skimmer, ultra violet portion of the pond. Pete was very knowledgeable in ponds and assured us that we would be very happy with the finished project from the look of the pond and adjacent wall to the maintenance free aspect. A tentative start date about three weeks out was set with an anticipated 4 to 5 days of work to complete the project. The only hitch in the whole project came when the crew should up, without notice a week earlier than scheduled. Neither my wife or I were home so they were not able to start the project. We had a conversation with Pete to straighten things and the crew showed up as planned on the original start date. That was the only breakdown in communication during the whole project. The crew foreman for our project was Manuel and he was excellent. The project took 6 days to complete. When finished we came up with a list of 5 or 6 concerns and changes. We met with Pete and went over the list and he promptly had a crew out in 4days to take care of everything on the list. We were overall very pleased with the finished project. Pete even went out of his way to build a special "frog gate" in front of the skimmer after a frog got sucked into the skimmer and the pump.

Pete from Narrow Leaf was very responsive. Whenever I had a concern I would call and he would get back to me within 24 hours. Work was started promptly and continued until they were finished. Although Pete did not do the work--Carlos was the lead for the team and he was also very responsive. He laid some bricks for a walkway that was very well thought out and very precise in it's structure--making sure it was aligned with our previous brick path. The stucco wall was also very well made. I think he has some artistic talent and works very hard at his craft. I had some problems with the drip system and Carlos promptly came out to assist with fixing it. I would definitely use them again.

The overall work was good. The front and side yards look great. Delivered on estimate ( with adjustments for additional work we requested after the estimate). The constructive criticism I would give is the project manager should circle back to the customer to review the work when the job is complete. Review what if anything maintenance-wise the owner will need to do in the future.

I provided Peter with a detailed drawing of the desired landscaping at our first meeting. He responded with a quote and after gathering other quotes decided to go with Narrow Leaf since they were the cheapest. But after dealing with them, I now know why they were. The job took 6 days of work. Peter met with the crew when they first started and shared the drawing with the foreman. I only saw Peter twice more after that because I had issues with the scope of the work. He did not come by on any regular basis to check-in on the crew like he stated he would. He had instructed the foreman to only do about 75% of what was on the drawing. When I challenged Peter on this, he stated that he never included the other 25% in his estimates and it would cost another $1,640 to complete. Being over a barrel on this and giving Peter the benefit of the doubt on his estimate, I agreed and paid the additional charges. The landscaping included a flagstone pathway for $800. When we discussed the walkway, I said I would like flagstone of 2 feet to 3 feet in dimension. Big enough to easily walk on the stones. They did install a few pieces of flagstone that size, but the rest were like some scraps from another job. They were smaller than the ones Home Depot sells for $8. Most of them measured less than 12 inches. I complained about them to the foreman, but once again, it was what Peter told him to use. When I challenged Peter on this, he said that was the flagstones they always use for walkways and it would be more to use the size pieces that we had discussed, were drawn on the drawing, and would make sense for a walkway. I refused to pay more. Three weeks after the work was done, and Narrow Leaf had been paid in full. Two of the plants had died and the $250 tree was looking sickly. I called Peter and he told me that they don't guarantee plants. When I pointed out that the contract stated all plants were guaranteed 60 days, Peter back pedaled and stated that the crews were busy that week and he would have someone out to replace the plants and look at the tree the following week. After waiting 3 weeks, and no one had come out, I decided to call the office and talk to the owner. I called the office 3 times, and each time the owner was "out" and to call back the next day. On the third call, the person gave me Tom Brasby's cell number since I had called so often. I called the cell and left a message that I was not happy with the work and to call me back to discuss. I never heard back from anyone. You would think as the owner of a business you would be concerned about a recent customer who had called the office 3 times and your cell once, but he obviously did not. I had used a credit card to pay the balance due, so I contacted Visa and filed a dispute for the additional charges , the plants that were not replaced and the poor quality of the flagstones. Tom Brasby responded to Visa that I had only reported one plant had died and that they had replaced it that week, and that I had never contacted Narrow Leaf since. Visa sited with Tom and the charges remained.

Dear Member, I'm dissappointed that you feel you had a bad experience with us but there are many misrepresentations in your complaint. You supplied us with a crayon "design" that was not to scale, after we submitted the bid and you signed it. The design encompassed a larger area than what you initially requested. You signed a written change order for the larger area you wanted to landscape. You did not voice any concerns to us about the larger scope of the job. There was no misunderstanding in the size of the project. You changed it after the fact. There are several styles of flagstone sidewalks available. You specifically requested "the cheapest I can get". Your bid reflected this request as "flagstone stepping stones". The larger flagstone pieces, called "select", cost twice as much and you declined to pay for them. We charged and installed the cheapest variety, as stated in your signed bid. We have done you no wrong on this point. Your comments about Home Depot's price on flagstone is incorrect. They do not sell flagstone. Five weeks after the job was completed and paid for, you called about one dead plant that Pete promised to replace. He replaced it the next morning. I received your voice mail, but, declined to return your call because you wanted my firm to redo work at our expense, that we were not negligent with. It is a rare event for one of our clients to attempt to steal from us in this way. I determined to not open a dialogue with you to take advantage of us. It was over five months before any information about other dead plant material was communicated. There's only one reason that a customer is faced with this magnitude of plant mortality, neglect to the irrigation system. This is not our responsibility! After the "Visa" judge considered the details of your dispute, they sided with us and found us to be 100% wholly in the right in the performance of our work. Pete was at your jobsite every day. It was you sir who was sometimes absent. I find your dispute with us to be fraudulent and unfounded and so did "Visa". Good day Sir!

iAfter reading the rave reviews for this firm, I called them in early July and Pete came out to survey the site and discuss my options. I wanted to start the work in the fall of 2012. After nearly an hour of discussion, he said he would get me an estimate within a week. After three weeks or more, I left phone message asking what had happened because I received no estimate, Pete left a voice mail explaining that the boss was out of town and that he would stop by my house, do some measurements, etc. and send me the estimate. Still nothing. As a last resort, I phoned the office in September and spoke with a woman who said she would look into it. She said the delay could have been because I didn't want to start the work right away. She led me to believe someone would be getting back to me. To this day, no one from the firm has. I wish I'd known from the start that they didn't want my business. I wouldn't have wasted so much time on them. I finally found another landscaping company.

Dear Ms. :Sorry. I was under the impession that no budget existed for the project until late fall and therefore neglected to follow through with a design and estimate. Our initial visit was during our peak business period and I was concentrating on the myriad of clients who wanted projects completed as soon as possible. I was also under the impression that either your boyfriend or fiancee was going to perform a good part of the work and that we may or may not have been involved in the project beyond a free design and estimate. I apologize for the oversight and regret that I didn't put my best foot forward for you. Respectfully, Peter Benjamin/Project Manager

When I first contacted Narrow Leaf Inc. I talked to Tom and we set up a meeting time when he could inspect the patio. He showed up at the prescribed time and we discussed what I wanted to do and the effect I wanted for the patio covering. He was highly professional and I was not pressured into accepting any design that he described, but was allowed to visualize each section of the project. Tom provided numerous options for each portion of the pergola from top to bottom, and explained the difference in price for each option added. He quickly provided us with a proposal for the project and included the price for the options, then kept in contact but did not pressure us to make a decision to build or provide a start date for the project. When I finally decided to start the project, I was contacted by Cameron who would build the pergola. We met and discussed the project to ensure we were in sync with the design and placement of the posts ETC. then decided on a start date and time. I was not to be available the week the work was to be started due to an unexpected trip, but decided to allow Cameron to proceed on schedule. The pergola was completed in two days from start to finish, including work done on the fence. When I returned home I was amazed, it looked just as I had envisioned it would, the workmanship was better than I had expected and the wood was beautiful. The landscaping was repaired and finished and I didn?t have to do anything but enjoy my new Pergola. Bottom line, I was given a vision of what the pergola would look like, was told what it would cost, and was not disappointed. I will use Narrow Leaf for my next project and highly recommend them, they did a wonderful job.
Description of Work: Our patio had been extended to include a fireplace and outdoor kitchen area, but there was not a cover over the extended surface. We hired Narrow Leaf Inc. to build a pergola over the exposed section of the patio, and encompass the fireplace with the structure to create a room like setting for the entire area. I had also built a privacy fence around a section of the yard that I wanted to cover because it was a work area and usually messy with debris and garden tools, but the fence was not completely finished, concrete hadn’t been poured and the wood had not been stained and sealed. Narrow Leaf finished the fence using the same stain finish that was used on the Pergola.

Tom kept in contact with us throughout the job and during the time he was making the gates (he had a few to complete before he was able to do ours). His crew, primarily his workers Manuel and Danny, were always here when they promised to be and even went so far as to contact me one afternoon when I left the house and didn't remember to close the garage door. They made sure to check with me about details like where I wanted the glass blocks in the wall placed and if I wanted them to place our landscaping boulders in other locations. They were exceeding polite and courteous. We were really concerned about all of this turning out right, especially because the original surface for the concrete was uneven and because our homeowners' association is strict about things like stucco matching. The guys from Narrow Leaf delivered absolutely everything they promised, and we have thoroughly enjoyed our new courtyard all summer. Many of our neighbors have given us compliments on it and asked what company we used. If we ever need this type of work done again in the future, these guys will be the first ones I call!
Description of Work: We contacted Tom Brasby with Narrow Leaf when seeking an estimate for having a stucco courtyard wall put up in our front yard. In addition to the wall, we needed concrete poured, wooden gates built and installed, our irrigation system overhauled, shrubs removed, and landscaping rock moved. He met with us right away and not only provided a very thorough estimate, but he even came out later on another day while it was raining to check how our yard drains. We didn't even have to ask him to do this! Needless to say, we were quite impressed. After finally getting approval for our plans from our homeowners' association, his crew went right to work ripping out the old shrubs we wanted gone and getting everything ready for the concrete pour. This job was subcontracted through a company Tom uses and was done quickly, cleanly, and professionally. Once the concrete was done, Tom's crew started right up building the wall and correcting the problems with our irrigation system. They then wrapped and wired the wall before stuccoing. The stuccoing took approximately a week, because the base layer needed to cure completely before the color was applied. They matched the existing stucco of our house with a topcoat of stucco that is virtually the exact same color! We had a cinder block wall blocking off our backyard from our front that we wanted to cut through for a gate or door to give us better access to the backyard. It turned out that this wall was really unstable from when our house was originally built, so Tom's crew knocked it out, rebuilt it, and cut it for a custom wooden gate. It also underwent stuccoing, and it looks fantastic. Best of all, Tom built us three custom wooden gates made of aspen and pine. He designed them to work well in proportion to our wall and they have windows with ladillos and arched tops just as we had requested. They are quite solid in their construction with waterproof glue and dowels, and his foreman Cameron installed them for us.

Pete came out to give us an estimate. He was very friendly and helpful. His bid was fair for the amount of work needed. They were able to start a week before our initial set date, which worked out great for us. The crew, Mark, Jay, and Charlie, worked tirelessly and very efficiently. NM dirt can be so dense and hard, they did a great job of removing all the old debris and moving the dirt so the retaining wall could be installed. Charlie, their masonry guy, did a fabulous job in measuring and getting the placement correct for the block as well as the poured concrete. Took about 4 days to complete everything. The patio area and backyard corner is clean and open. We can finally enjoy our patio space, love it! Would definitely use them again. Highly recommended!
Description of Work: The open patio area and corner of our backyard was an eyesore. We needed old junipers and thick layer of lava rock and decades old leaf debris and decaying railroad ties removed. We wanted a block retaining wall built in it's place. We also reclaimed about 3 feet of patio length that we needed poured concrete to be fill in.

I found Narrow Leaf on Angie's list. We had received several bids for this job already but wanted one more because of the wide range of the bids. Pete from Narrow Leaf came out, reviewed the job and returned with a bid quickly. The bid was within our range and included everything we discussed. He made adjustments to the bid after we reviewed it, and we signed a contract. His crew showed up on the day we scheduled. They were very polite, dressed in uniforms and treated our property as if it were their own. They consistently went above and beyond our expectations. The man that did the actual patio and brick laying for the wall was incredible. He constructed a patio and a curved walkway with two beautiful garden areas as well as a curved retaining wall with two latilla windows. The stucco was matched exactly to our house. We have received many compliments from friends, neighbors and people have asked for the name of our contractors. I highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Created patio with pavers by covering existing front porch slab and then adding addition and walkway to driveway. Walkway was constructed to serve as a ramp for wheelchair accessibility. Enclosed front of house with concrete block wall and covered with stucco

Requested new flexible line be run from existing zone irrigation system that was destroyed by the frosts of January 2011. Prompt quote and timely service performed. Old 4-zone system was "capped off" and new line was to be run off one existing valve. Not present during job and requested map to show where new irrigation line was run. Surprisingly, it took multiple requests and resulted in rough hand sketch left in the back yard.Upon using system with timer set to 30 minutes per day ABQ City water bill included a notice of excessive water usage. Discontinued use of system for the winter months (did not call back Narrow Leaf). In Spring of 2012 contracted with new sprinkler contractor to move valves/solenoids and reconnect to existing flexible line. They discovered that the prior line had remained connected to one broken (leaking) PVC zone and that "taps" used for the drip lines were of the type prone to leaking and were in fact leaking. Subsequent work bypassed these leaks and my water bill is now extremely low. This is only one data point and Narrow Leaf was not requested to respond to any of these issues. I felt it better to try someone new based on the earlier results.
Description of Work: Replace irrigation line after winter frost damage to old white PVC underground lines. Integrate new flex hose into existing timer/valve system and add drip stations at existing trees/shrubs.

I met with Tom of Narrow Leaf Inc. on May 9th, 2012 to discuss doing the lanscaping of the front yard of my house. We went over some ideas and he took measurements. I was told he would fax me a proposal/estimate and a design idea for the work to be done. That following Tuesday I got a call from him saying he was a little behind and that he would get it to me the next week. I never recieved the estimate and never heard from him again.

We contacted Narrow Leaf based on impressive photos of their previous work. We had lost a shade tree over our front porch/patio area were looking for a great-looking, yet functional, alternative. We had a very specific design in mind for our shade structure/ patio cover, which allowed for solar gain in winter, and shade in summer. Tom arrived for the evaluation/estimate very promptly, gave careful consideration of our plans, and contributed some additional ideas that we really liked. He was able to evaluate potential difficulties with the project, and suggest solutions. He even seemed enthusiastic at the prospect! We signed on.As the specific plans continued to evolve, Tom remained available to trouble-shoot and revise fine details (we were that specific in what we wanted and hoped to accomplish with this project!)- including special staining, choice of wood, carving, etc.The Narrow Leaf crew showed up as scheduled. They were efficient, polite- and they knew their stuff. Very exacting- even redoing a section that didn't meet their very high standards. (They insisted. Really). Despite the exacting nature of our project, it was completed within the promised time frame. The end result is everything we had hoped; it's beautifully designed and constructed, functional, and enhances the appearance of our home. We could not be more pleased, or recommend Tom and Narrow Leaf more highly!

After dragging many/varied hoses around for years, it was time to shop for a sprinkler and drip irrigation system for our property, and interviewed several companies. We then realized Narrow Leaf- who was installing another project for us- also installed irrigation systems. We were very impressed with Narrow Leaf, so asked for an estimate. The estimate was provided promptly, was very reasonable, and the work was scheduled promptly, especially considering it was peak season for this kind of work. In addition, the schedule had to accommodate our work schedules and the presence of our 3 large and very protective dogs- which other companies found to be a major inconvenience, but which Narrow Leaf simply managed. The crew showed up exactly on time, as scheduled. They addressed our last-minute questions/ concerns, and were polite, neat, professional, and efficient- despite the fact that my older home had no stub-out for a system, and they had to dig halfway to china to make the necessary connections to my water main. In 95 degree weather, no less. They remained very professional and and accommodating even when we requested some changes to water flow/ sprinkler heads, made the changes very promptly, and explained and assisted in programming the controls/ timer. We'd been concerned how the required trenching would impact our landscaping- but needn't have been. The crew ensured that the trenching is completely invisible. They also worked with care around both mature and new plantings. The work was completed as promised, promptly, efficiently, and professionally. We've never enjoyed watching water run quite as much as we do now. We could not recommend Narrow Leaf more highly. Great job, guys!
