My house has a very small closet for the furnace (like many in my neighborhood). Daniel's (Ted) advised me on the options, and called in the big boss to see how it could be done. Things were estimated and begun within a week with the majority of the work being done in two days for me to have AC. Had to wait a couple weeks on some parts (vents and a kit for lower combustion) and they came over and installed those quickly. Furnace passed inspection and we are all set.

Arlis the serviceman was prompt, informative and very patient and helpful. Our ducts really needed to be cleaned out and he did a great job. Even my boyfriend, who is not easily pleased, was very impressed. I am very happy with this service and and will call Daniels the next time we need this service.

The Daniels estimator was very enthusiastic about their preferred Daikin brand, and our research showed very high ratings for Daikin. We had excellent interactions with Daniels every step of the way. Installation went quicker than estimated, even though a rain storm slowed things down. The indoor units connect to the outdoor unit through two closets. We completely cleared out the first closet, and just the top shelves of the second closet. The installers had to remove a few shelves close to the ceiling to accommodate the piping. The work took a few days, and they cleaned up each evening so that we were minimally inconvenienced. Everyone was polite and friendly. The units themselves are fantastic. Our bedrooms had been heated by a floor heater in the hall, and only the bedroom closest to the heater was ever warm in the winter. Cool air from the swamp cooler duct in the hall never did much to cool the two bedrooms at either end of the hall. We are now so much more comfortable. The rest of the house continues to be cooled by the swamp cooler and heated with a floor heater. As expected, our electric bill went up in the winter, but not by much, maybe $20-25 a month, and our gas bill went down. Energy use in the summer seems to be about the same as before.

They're a very good company and I would highly recommend them.

The tech who came did the best he could with the equipment he had, which was basically a long brush & vacuum cleaner. He didn't use a scope to visually inspect the ducts or sanitizing spray. The vents were really dirty because debris had been falling out a couple vents when the system was on. Having recently bought the house, I quickly discovered the system hadn't been serviced for years. I had new pads, pump & a belt installed the day before by another company. Needing the ducts cleaned I responded to an Angie's List discounted special offer. The technician was here for about 3 hours. I've had no more debris falling out of vents

Tanner is wonderful! Very knowledgeable, professional, courteous, answers questions, makes sure everything is done just right. Explains everything and is incredibly patient. My contact with office personnel at Daniels has been very positive also. Excellent experience and I am delighted to have had them install and service my ductless split system.

I pay for two services a year and the spring is free. They got here exactly when they said they would. They explained everything they were going to do and did it. Courtesy of the company stands out the most. I think they are a fine company to use.

It went well. Daniels showed up right on time. They were fast and neat. They communicated clearly and offered to do some additional services. Since the cost was reasonable, I agreed to the additional work. It was a very easy process. They completed everything very quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

Everything went well - they were able to get started and finish exactly on the dates and times that were estimated. Daniels brought in the right experts at the right time for the right parts of the job. As part of the installation, they had to fabricate a fair bit of custom duct work to allow for the integration mentioned earlier. Much of that work was done on-site (i.e. on the roof) and the result has been better than we expected (and we expected a lot). Part of the job included installation of a humidifier and UV light. The initial placement of the light didn't work for us, so Daniels reworked their plans and made everything right - no problems, no worries! We are extremely pleased with our new system. It's been particularly pleasant with the higher-than-a-swamp-cooler-can-stand humidity over the past few weeks. Thanks to the great service and professional work that Daniels provided, we are looking forward to an exceptionally comfortable indoors, no matter what happens outdoors!

The crew was professional, thorough and efficient.

From start to finish, they did an A+ job. Tedd came out and, though he was hesitant at first because I had purchased my own equipment and thought I wanted them to fully back everything themselves, once he knew I understood that they couldn't warranty the equipment he was happy to proceed (I knew the manufacture warranty goes in effect so long as a licensed contractor installs it and signs the warranty registration card). He even asked, on his own, if he should take his shoes off. That's huge to me. He went through everything that needed to be done and I received an estimate that was about $300 less than Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling (though I think it's still on the high side... but that's Albuquerque it seems). I quickly agreed and he told me they were fully booked until the end of May. I told him it'd be great if they could put a priority on my installation because the unit I had purchased off Amazon had until May 30th to be returned, and if there were any issues I'd like to have that option. Soon enough, their office called and scheduled me for May 21st. I was very pleased. On a side note, a funny thing happened. My main Refridgerated AC unit lost power just three days before they were scheduled to come. I told myself, welp, couldn't be better timing and I'll just wait for them to come and ask them about it. I know in the contracting industry that's usually a tough deal when a customer side-swipes them with something else, but they couldn't have been nicer about it. On the day of installation (today as I write this review), Tedd came in along with two technicians he immediately introduced me to, Tanner and Eli. Tedd made sure they knew what the job was and made sure everything was okay on my side, and then went to his other appointments. Tanner and Eli made sure they were careful about their shoes and where they stepped on our white carpet (since the install was on the balcony, they said they'd just use the ladder to get up there anyway and that would avoid any major carpet-traffic). Again, that really meant a lot. They finished the job by the afternoon and everything looks and works great. They then went to check out the problem with my main AC unit downstairs and found it was a disconnect with the power. They fixed it immediately (just added $60 to the bill) and that was that. Just an awesome experience and I really appreciate their work and the care that they took. Would HIGHLY recommend anyone to work with these guys. I will definitely use them exclusively from here on out for all of my climate control needs!

Absolutely all aspects of this upgrade were outstanding!!!! The level of customer service was unparalleled. The sales associate "Ted Silvers" provided us with a fair estimate on the first visit and continually revised it as our needs changed. When Ted first came over to review the options, he meet with my husband since I was working late that day. He gave us three options - GOOD BETTER AND BEST and we were never given a hard sell to go with the BEST option. We had Ted come out a second time, so that I could be present and to go over the options he had previously presented to my husband, after speaking with Ted and thinking over the options (which took a couple of days) we ended up coming up with a fourth options "That totally worked best for our situation/needs". Daniels workers removed our swamp cooler, furnace, old water heater and installed refrigerated air conditioner, new furnace, new water heater and a new thermostat . They also did all necessary duct work, removed all vents, cleaned the ducts and vents, then reinstalled the vents All work was done promptly and efficiently, and the clean-up was excellent. The team was very professional. They took the time to explain everything prior to them starting. They were efficient and after each day (took like a day in a half to complete the entire process) they cleaned up after themselves. Their quote was very detailed on exactly what they would do, which was everything needed to do it right. I liked that so there was no guessing what you would end up with. They came out as promised and the installation went very well at every level (they had to work in the rain for a bit), from the duct work, to the wiring, to the insulation, and the clean up. The entire staff are very high level professionals - courteous, clean and I felt comfortable with them in my home. Also, included was a maintenance agreement. A great firm!!!!!

I was very pleased with their technician, Chris. He was very professional, punctual, and VERY POLITE.

The first time I turned on the furnace, more stuff came out of one of the vents in my bedroom, but after that, the duct appeared to be clear of the loose particles, and surfaces in the bedroom were clear of debris. The worker who did the vacuuming was focused on his task and wasn't talkative, but seemed pleasant. I was hoping for a little more information about how often I should clean out the vents/ducts, but salesmanship didn't seem to be his forte. The only piece of information he volunteered was to tell me that when I turn on my evaporative cooler, I should leave the pump on for 5 to 10 minutes before starting the fan so that the water will soak any loose dust or particles and not drive them into the air ducts. My plumber has also given me that advice. The worker did leave a business card.

I called on Friday when the old furnace died. Daniels had helped me twice before when I got their name from Angie's List. They would have come on the weekend -- part of the reason I chose them originally was that they do emergency calls -- but I decided that it wasn't an emergency. Chris was on time, pleasant and reassuring, and very polite. He worked quickly and efficiently and explained all I need to know about my furnace. I was somewhat stunned by the price (which matched the original estimate), but this was a big item, and only my small budget made me cringe. I was completely pleased and satisfied by the entire transaction.
