I won't use them - no flexibility in quotes vs work!!!

Start to finish, Air Pro was very professional. Josh, the estimator, provided us with a detailed proposal which made it easy to do some research and ask questions. He recommended a great electrician to upgrade the electric service. All permits, inspections, and proof of insurance were obtained or provided. Air Pro's technicians, Mike and Noel, were consistently pleasant and respectful during three days of hard work. They did a great job. They hauled both old furnaces out of the attic without complaint. Mike crawled the extra mile (okay, really about 15 feet) through a very low pitched attic to install a supply run at the far end of a room addition, extra effort that will really help air flow. The interior installations were done with care, and although I haven't yet crawled across the attic to check the furnace, the new supply, return and plenum are all neatly done and insulated. They even framed out the attic access they had to enlarge to get equipment through. We just have to cut a new cover to fit. The work that the Mike, Noel, and Josh did supports the internet wisdom that, in replacing HVAC, the contractor is more important than the equipment. Air Pro's quote was the highest of the three we got. It was more comprehensive and we believe the equipment is better, but for us the real value was dealing with nice, competent installers. We have some wall repair and trim replacement to complete the job and some track lights had to be moved, but nothing that wasn't expected or unreasonable. (I think Josh was more concerned than I was, which is nice for a change!). I highly recommend Air Pro.

In an emergency I called AIRPRO on the coldest day of the year. Our furnace was not working when we woke up and we were worried about pipes bursting. They sent 2 technicians to the house by 9:00 am. They replaced the safety switch that had burned out and also found that our air intake was blocked being by some insulation and took the time to remove it so that the air to our system was moving efficiently. Our heating has worked great ever since. The technician even took the time to talk to my husband at work by phone to explain step by step what needed to be done to repair the furnace. Their price was reasonable for the time they spent to fix it and the technicians were very professional.

Everything went exactly as was stated in our initial contact for the estimate. We have an old house which always presents challenges with updating, and the installers were knowledgeable and flexible. They also were kind to our hardwood floors which had recently been refinished, and they managed a complex installation without a scratch. The company has twenty-four-seven emergency service for its customers which puts me at ease should problems arise. I only downgraded a bit on the price because we did have a lower estimate from a fellow who ended up having to cancel due to a health emergency. I suspect he was able to submit a lower estimate only because he was semiretired and had a very low overhead. Overall, an excellent experience.

All the work was well done. There was one minor misstep -- literally -- when a worker stepped on portion of the ceiling and caused a minor crack. The cooler initially made a loud clunking sound when the motor started, and they had to return to bend some sheet metal out of the way of the motor. It appeared to be a manufacturer defect, not a problem with Air-Pro's work. The cooler works very well, even on very hot days, and the duct work they designed and installed greatly improves air distribution in the house. I would strongly recommend a single inlet cooler with 12" pads for anyone who wants to stay with evaporative cooling and needs a new unit. Mastercool seems to be out of biz, but parts are still available and other makers build similar units.

I did not have any problems with them. They were prompt, clean and responsive. The price seemed comparable but someone else quoted a lesser price than Air-Pro Inc.

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND PUNCTUAL. I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM BEING HERE. THEIR PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB.

THEY WERE STRAIGHT UP ABOUT THE INSTALLATION AND COSTS INVOLVED. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WERE GREAT. THEY FINISHED IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME.

I REALLY LIKE THE NEW AIR CONDITIONER THEY INSTALLED. IT WORKS GREAT, AND I AM REALLY SATISFIED. THEIR WORK WAS EXCELLENT, AND THEY CAME IN EARLIER THAN WE HAD EXPECTED. THEY WERE VERY NICE AND SOCIABLE AS WELL.

THE PEOPLE FROM THIS COMPANY WERE EXCELLENT. THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB AND THEY GOT THE WORK DONE FAST. THEY WERE WILLING TO SHOW ME EVERYTHING THEY WERE DOING AND DID IT ALL FOR A REASONABLE PRICE.
