Was ready to put the turkey in the oven and found the top element half laying on the bottom. Called ABC Appliance Repair and found they could send a technician out in a couple of hours. He came, figured out the problem, fixed it and was out of there within 30 minutes. Great service, will use again.

Norman arrived within the 2 hour window. He was helpful and explained each step of the inspection and repairs. My dryer now works more efficiently.

The guy who was here was very good. He was very informative and gave me some good advice. He was very helpful, courteous and polite. I would rate them really highly. I guess the price was okay; he was here for a while. The service was quick. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Norman came out to perform the inspection and vent cleaning. He was professional, timely, and did an incredibly thorough job. For the inspection, he dissembled the dryer and checked everything. For the vent cleaning (I have an extended dryer vent since the dryer is not located against an outside wall), he ran his cleaning tool the entire length from both the dryer and then from the exterior vent. I was very impressed with the level service provided. I would definitely use them again.

They did a good job. They were here exactly when they said they were going to be and that was great. The person who did the service was very polite and very professional. I don’t know about their pricing but I think it was fair.

That was our first experience with Angie's List. It cost almost as much as a new refrigerator. We had an excellent experience. The refrigerator freezer had thawed. It wasn't working at all. He came out when we called on a Saturday. He came out almost within a couple of hours. It was fast service. He brought a motherboard with him. That's why it was so expensive. We had a discount coupon with Angie's List, and got a 10% discount. I was very pleased. He said our refrigerator was better than new. He was excellent. He explained everything. We were really impressed. He also did some extra work and showed us some other tips on maintenance and things that we were very appreciative of. I thought it was a great recommendation. I would recommend ABC Appliance Repair to anyone.

The dishwasher would not drain. I read about what it might be and tried to fix it myself to no avail. I looked at new dishwashers and realized the model I had was a pretty decent unit, so I decided to fix it. $160 later and it works like new. The problem was a small piece of plastic was clogging the pump line. Prompt, courteous, quality service.

The service tech was extremely polite, personable and professional. He engaged in conversation with my 11 year old son and with me. His total visit lasted about an hour. I was very impressed that: 1. We could get service within 2 hours on a Saturday 2. The tech arrived on time. 3. The tech was personable and professional. 4. He had the needed part with him. 5. We have a working dishwasher the same day it stopped working. My only misgiving was the cost, but I suppose that getting the dishwasher repaired at the last minute on a Saturday was worth the price.

The technician arrived on time and within 1 day of when the service call was initiated. He indicated that to fix the button the entire circuit board would have to be replaced at a cost of about $440. As an inexpensive alternative, he programmed the default setting for the "Timed Dry" button to function as the "Normal" button in terms of both time and heat setting. He also recommended having the dryer vent professionally cleaned about once every 3 years (we have not done so in the 6 years we have lived here). I am very pleased with the service provided and will use this company again for future appliance issues.

They worked on our dryer and got the problem fixed. Things went well.

I called ABC and they said they would have someone out later in the day. They then called back within 15 minutes to say that they had someone in the neighborhood and he was there within 15 minutes. He took out the offeding piece and put in a new one. Wasn't quite sure about the proper wiring (thought he knew) so he contacted another more seasoned repair person and they conferred briefly and then he continued with success. He even allowed us to clean behind the refrig which hadn't been done in 7 years.

Knowledgeable, professional, great service. They fixed our cook top after we had been told by someone else that we would need to purchase a new one. So glad we got a second opinion from ABC Appliance! It saved us a lot of money.

ABC Appliance repairman, Norman, did great! He arrived on time and began to figure out the problems straight away. He asked questions and diagnosed the specific problems of each appliance, referenced the manufacturer's guides, then explained how he was going to approach the repairs one problem at a time (note that each appliance had more than one problem). He managed to get the refrigerator water and ice dispenser working just fine, explaining the problem clearly. Using Norman's problem-solving strategies - a testimony to his excellent communication skills! - we figured out using the fridge guide what was causing the refrigerator's leaking - a missing defrost pan. We made "an executive decision" to not bother any further with the built-in microwave repairs as it was simply too far gone, but making that decision to remove this appliance was still a relief. He helped us remove the microwave from the cabinet, which was a big job. We are delighted with the reasonable cost, repairs, and especially the service.

Very happy with the work. I called at 7:00 am, the technician was there by 10:15 am. He diagnosed the problem, replaced the parts, cleaned out the dryer as he was going through it and even cleaned up all the lint that fell on the floor. He was probably one of the most polite and professional workmen I've ever had come to my house. I couldn't find them on Angie's List, but they had a great BBB rating which is why I chose them.
